I did airsoft with a group in college once and it showed me better than any movie or propaganda could that war is Hell. I don't know how anyone can enjoy playing for more than a few minutes. I had to stay and keep playing for the duration that the group was staying, which was several hours, and we took a few short breaks but I always dreaded the moment I'd have to pick up my gun and get back out there.

One of the local ones just said fuck it and closed for the year, but since it was an outdoor cqb like field they survived just fine because their only real overhead was property taxes since they hire refs on a per season basis. The other one is somehow falling apart despite being open last year, and being a woodsball field. The owner keeps making excuses and trying to jack the price way up for a game.

For face protection you wear goggles - in bongland some people wear mesh masks, but, unless you're room clearing a snood, scarf or shemagh should be sufficent.

For the balls and belly, just wear proper clothes. Not too thick though, or you can't always feel your hits, I've seen that happen to guys wearing plate carriers before.

I'm not Belgian, I just love Jigsaw camo and wanted to use some nice milsurp on the field. I'm currently using a Specna M4 with it, but eventually I'd like to upgrade to an AKS-74U for top tier insurgent feel. I carry my Glock (though I'd like a CZ75) in a jacket pocket rather than a holster just cause it looks more insurgenty.

Anyway, let's not just be materialistic gear fags, let's talk tactics.

after reading the pastebin in the OP, I do agree on the sniper part. NEVER start off with a sniper rifle in airsoft as a beginner. I completely ignored this word of advice 9 years ago ever since I watched e-celebs on jewtube do sick shots on players and thought it looked awesome especially since I liked aggressive recon sniping in Battlefield 3 and 4. After so much time and money was wasted on my gear and upgrades, I wasn't getting the exact results I wanted when I played some games, there was only my shots missing everywhere despite cleaning and doing heavy maintenence on my gun a lot. I ultimately gave up on trying airsoft ever again and took a 4 year break from the hobby until I wanted to pick up on it again since I'm getting bored of vidya.

I have a friend giving me an old echo1 scar-l from like 2011, I'm looking to mod it and then sell my NGRS M4 that I never used. Would that probably not be lipo-ready? If not, what would it need, a new motor? I'm probably gonna throw a gate titan in it so the stock battery wiring doesn't matter.

Slap a mosfet into it. A basic 3034 variant should be enough to make it “lipo ready”. Also run only 7.4v sticks to keep it eating itself out
>selling the recoil shock that havent been used

The gate titan has a mosfet, so I guess I'd be all set with that?

>Damn, anything wrong with it that makes it unused?
Nothing's wrong with it, I just spent way too much money on it and I'd need to spend a good deal more to get it running how I want it to. I don't even care about the recoil, I just like how it stops firing when your mag is empty. I got it when I had a nice job lined up but it fell through and now money's super tight so I've been digging around for stuff I can sell.

I like tinkering with things so I think I'd have more fun modding a basic gun anyways. Cycle completion is also the #1 thing I want, and if I start with a free hand me down I can afford a gate titan like it's nothing. I should also add that this echo1 is also unused, it's just old

No, he's entirely serious, instead of 6mm BBs, they use .22 Long Rifle, as it's known to not be harmful short of being shot in the eye. The rules are strict about it, but sometimes someone gets their brains scrambled because someone didn't aim for the arms, legs, or torso.
>>
>>1933
Gas yes, but the end purpose between them are rather similar imo.
The way I see it, the recoil shocks were marui’s attempt back in the late 2000s to add “recoil” to an electric rifle and update their (by then 15+ yrs old) aeg gearbox. But it’s also because the technology for a gas blowback system that wont crap out in winter with duster gas havent been realized yet, not until their rival Western Arms made the gbbr m4 that got cloned to hell and back since 2008. It took until the mid 2010s when marui finally made the MWS system that could beat WAs and capable of running in near zero temps, at least with the right condition.

For the japanese scene (mostly chairsofters), simulated gun handling under restricted law requirements is a legit criteria which explains parts such as “heavyweight” slide, recoil kits, and heavy recoil weights for both the mws and recoil shock guns. This also is my guess as to why marui even bothered with the recshock in the first place lol.

Pic is my ak-74u. I just mounted a rail to it last weekend. I finally have a red dot on it. The sight is a Pinty compact red dot with 1 inch riser.

I bought rail from Evike specifically for the AK74u, but it did not fit. It was supposed to attach to the iron sights, but the airsoft ak74u sights are slightly smaller than the real guns sights. So I ended up drilling holes in a plastic rail I already had, and just attaching that. I used the two holes that the dust cover already had for the iron sights to attach it.

It is mounted to the dust cover, so the sight wobbles a little bit. But, not enough that it matters.

Got it for 200 eurodollars, but I haven't bought ANYTHING besides the gun yet, what should I get? Obviously I'm gonna get some glasses + something for the mouth/nose, I'm wondering more about stuff like a red dot, midcap mag since this one is high cap etc.

Depends on what you mean by dead. Its no where near its popularity peak, but not dead imo. It has kinda gone back to its 2002~2008 days right before it exploded where you have a core of impression kit guys, bb warriors, and milsim larpers. The more casual playerbase has definitely shrunk but we have way more events then I remember back in the day.

Is that a combat machine? Should have gotten a CYMA ak but what is done is done. As for what to get just pick up a decent battery, charger, some nice BBs (.25g is a good cheap weight), and if you are just playing for fun get another highcap you can throw in your pocket. Dont worry about sights as they are likely to get shot out and most cheaper airsoft guns can barely use them.

We should probably make a new newbie guide.

Cybergun typically only rebrands cheap stuff. In all seriousness if you can return it please try. The battery and charger are going to be garbage, get yourself a $20 tenergy battery, and a smart charger which you can typically pick up for about the same price. It looks like the gun uses a nunchuck style.

If you can somehow return it, for the price CYMA aks are some of the best you can get your hands on. At least in the US you can grab full metal ones for under $200. They run great stock and last.
>>
>>3695
>>3706

Seller told me that most people criticized Cybergun because of the build quality or whatnot, but he said something along the lines of
>"when you represent 90% of the market, it's inevitable you'll also represent a majority of the breaking guns, people who complain about cybergun usually fail to take that into account"

Ha also said that it actually was a solid brand for starting. I actually checked a bunch of reviews before buying this very gun, and most of the reviewers (who bought the gun themselves) agreed it was a good starting gun. Guy's been playing for 30 years or so, small local seller.

This one's full metal and AKs are really not my style, is there something else I could get?

Cybergun is incredibly small in comparison to CYMA, G&G, Krytac, etc. . . and the reason they get crap is just because their guns are cheap. They take a rifle made by another company, slap some trades on it, and then mark it up (echo 1 also did this 90% of their stuff was JG or CYMA). As for what you got when you say "full metal" are both the lower and upper receiver of the gun metal? Do you perhaps have an online add for what you got? If we can figure out the OEM we can give a better estimate of how it will fare. As for solid brand for starting I personally disagree. I think the best thing a starter gun can have is reliability and durability. Nothing is worse then giving a new player a bad taste in their mouth when their brand new gun stops working.
>>
I bought a CYMA AK47 like 8 years ago and it worked fine for a while then it stopped shooting so i took it apart to replace a tiny screw (0.9mm) which I couldn't find anywhere. Now when I shoot it the trigger pulls but won't go back forward unless I push it forward. Did I just fail to put that little spring behind the trigger back in right, or did I put cycler gear (partial gear? i dont know what its called) back in misaligned so it cycles too far when it tries to shoot? Cause sometimes it fails to shoot. But the trigger also stays pulled and I have to slide it back forward myself.

Also why the fuck won't anyone buy my JG G36 on craigslist for 80 bucks? All this stuff happened over a year ago I've never played at a field only in my own yard. I'm 26 so I'm not sure if I'm too old to get into it.
>>
>>3714
At least you have gelball
>>
NERF guns are extreme??
>>
>>3711
So I found what you bought, and if it is indeed the elite line then I feel a lot better about what you got. Only manufactures I can think of that make a full metal M4 in that price range is CYMA and JG so they may be the OEM.
>>
>>3731
Not in my state
>>
>>3731
>he doesn't know
>>
Noob question. Do AEGs wind the mechanism so that your trigger pull looses the spring immediately, or do they have an obscene lock time? I've only had gas/co2 guns before; the former imitates actual firearms with a cocking and loading slide, and the latter loads with a tube through trigger travel, so both of them go off at the trigger break almost immediately.
>>
this shit is getting banned in canada if Trudeau gets his way
>>
>>3743
nerf have a nice place on toy already
>>
>>3757
Stock most have to wind the piston back, but there are mosfets which have precock pulling the piston part of the way back for faster trigger response.
>>
>>3757
In semi, they start with the spring forward so there's a teeny delay in your shot to pull the plunger back. Full auto generally just revs the motor while the trigger is held, so the plunger rests wherever it happens to be when you let go of the trigger.

I'm not sure what you mean when you ask about the lower and upper receiver of the gun, see pic related.

And I agree that a first gun should be reliable above all, but all reviews of this very gun seemed to indicate it was great for a starting gun, I meant that also independently of what the seller himself told me.

I don't have an online ad, but the instructions flyer inside says that it's distributed by Palco Sports in the USA, and the side of the box had number #180 867 on it, only relevant information I could find.

>>3771
Man. How come precocking isn't the default? I'm considering going GBBR mostly for this reason (the other being simulationism: real-cap mags, co2 capsule in the mag, etc.), but I wonder.

I don't know any manufacture by NFL, but if it is actually full metal it should actually be a fine starter gun. I was worried because there are some REALLY cheap plastic guns that look like yours and I was worried you got ripped off. I would suggest getting that new battery I talked about and charger. You would be amazed how much a decent battery changes the gun. Depending on how long you will be playing during a day you may need 2. Run a 9.6v NiHM and stay away from lipos until you get more into it.

>>3789
$$$ for example a Gate mosfet is an extra $100+ to the cost of the gun. You can still build a pretty snappy AEG without precocking. GBBRs are fun but I haven't paid attention to them in a long time. They use to require a lot of work to actually be field able.

Here's the other side, if that gives you any more information. The tiny black mark on the hopup wheel (or mosfet? don't know which one it is) is from the guy just putting it there with a sharpie to explain.
>>
Did the guy who invented polar stars play cave story?
>>
>>3839
Its the hop up wheel and it actually came with a rotary hop which is pretty nice. Doesn't tell much about the manufacture, but the more you show im actually kinda impressed you got a full metal m4 with rails and a rotary hop for the price.
>>
>>3812
That seems like a huge markup for what ought to be a, like, $2 part ($3 in single figure quantities). Are there other components involved in a MOSFET setup, as in, is that just the Airsoft-specific name?

I also heard bad things about GBBR reliability, but I've seen people field WE "open bolt" rifles in muddy late fall conditions. I ought to ask around. Surely that stuff hasn't become popular on the backs of willing lemon-buyers.
>>3816
Human reaction time is like 13 ms (what they use in the olympics to call false starts). Below that it's practically imperceptible. Similar as how people think they blinked in a photograph when they were reacting to the camera shutter sound; that they blink after means their eyes were open in the photo...

If it's properly imperceptible, then an AEG would be right up my alley if they had, like, a blowback mechanism. I heard that's available (Joerg's channel showcased one a couple of years back) but I've not seen it marketed.
>>
>>3866
>If it's properly imperceptible, then an AEG would be right up my alley if they had, like, a blowback mechanism. I heard that's available
The main one is the Tokyo Marui Next Gen Recoil Shock platform, but they're pretty expensive and they only shoot like 290 fps with .20g out of the box due to Japanese velocity laws.
>>
>>3866
Mosfets are mini computers (some with entire firmware and blutooth capability for programing) that control the electrical flow to the motor and often replace the trigger contacts with a micro switch. As for GBBR there will always be people who want the most realistic thing they can get and nothing tops GBBR. There are blow back and recoil systems for AEGs but all of them come with some tradeoffs. Typically this puts extra strain on the gearbox and also adds additional cost to the build. If you have deep pockets and don't mind an air line you could go for a daytona gun. They are built on GBBR and AEG bodies and use AEG mags.

Well, I'm glad, the seller was nice enough to give me the pack of bbs for free with it, he also does small repairs for free (or 15 euros for bigger repairs + price of parts) and he really seemed passionate about what he was talking about (I mean, he talked with me for 3 hours about airsoft despite me telling him plainly I wouldn't buy anything that very day) he was pretty proud of some pretty rare guns he was selling, too, since he was a small seller (a Toyko Marui Famas is one I can remember).

I have another question; the seller said that a case was quite important to get for transport (carrying is completely illegal in public anyway), and advised strongly against a bag, mostly because it didn't really offer any protection according to him, what's it like in your experience? I might probably have to use public transports to get to the places I intend to shoot it at, and only very rarely use my car. If I get a bag, any recommendation? >>
>>3757
You're gonna notice trigger delay on an AEG over a GBB, especially if you've got a low output battery in there, but it's possible to have a lightning fast response time with a proper gearbox setup. A well build dual sector build will go pretty damn fast.

hey frens. new to airsoft, looking for a battery and charger setup. this is the recommended one from the manufacturer
>Li-Po, 1400 mAh/11.1 V. Battery consists of three parts
which I assume means it's one of those 3 flat panel types. I also don't know what a good charger would be.
>>
>>3956
Titan's stuff is really good
>>
>>3965
Titan has a 3000 mAh/11.1 V stick. am I g2g if I get one that has 3x the recommended performance?

>>3967
also, my AEG has both types of adapter. should I get the tamiya or deans?
>>
>>3967

>>3973
Deans is objectively better
>>
>>3956
Yes it would be the 3 flat panel type. What manufacturer is recommending 11.1v for a stock gun though? As for batteries you have volts, milliamp hours, and then there is discharge rate C. The higher the discharge rate the more power supplied to the motor but the shorter time it will last.
>>
>>4002
NPO VSS, specifically the 20th series. is 11.1 pissin' hot for a stock gun or on the weaker side? from what I understand, it's a pretty beefy little AEG, internally
>>
>>4006
Pissing hot. Pretty sure NPO use LCT internals so you should be fine, but a 7.4 is fine in most cases. Odd you're willing to drop $700 on a gun but don't know much about batteries lol.

You did this to yourself. NPO isn't particularly MORE accurate compared to LCT and King Arms either, just a little different. $550 is still a lot from a starter gun to not know battery basics. There's lots of sites that give you battery run-downs. Let me know what connector type you have, and I can give you a list from Hobby King, smart charger included.
>>
>>3835
Classic Army still has theirs. You can either try buying directly from CA or import from Octagon. They still have SD6s in stock. After that, it's just upgrading the gearbox. It's a standard Version 2, so doing some high torque motor/dsg/mosfet memes, or even just dropping in an HPA unit yourself would do fine.

NPO is more accurate. the stock is the correct color and the dust cover is much closer to the real version. the LCT one is like 8% larger overall than the real one. it looks goofy when compared side by side. And at some point down the line if I can ever track down a real VAL or VSS handguard, the NPO will fit it. NPO also takes real optics better than LCT on account of it's much smaller dust cover.
I think I want to do a titan battery. I don't mind shelling a bit more for better quality. I'm already in this deep, no point in skimping now.

Imo it depends. LCT is just better, but if you are not going to use it that much CYMA with a ZCI tbb and a new bucking is around $100 cheaper. I plan on attending one of the milsim west events soon and even though I already have a lct 74mn I'm thinking about picking up a CYMA to abuse.

Most are good in the milsim and speedsofting aspect, some are bad. A bad milsim player generally attributes:
>Berating other people's gear because they're not using expensive military grade shit like Crye Precision or NVGs
>show off real steel parts on their guns to act as a flex on other players for using chink clones
>Cry when they get overshot or shot within "bang-bang" range despite acting military tough guy
>larp so hard to the point of bringing actual MREs to fields, want people to address them by a high military rank like they're part of Seal Team 6, trying to copy military tactics they see in videos, games, shout "COVER ME RELOADING!" on top of their lungs, etc.
>Demand respect from others like they deserve a medal of honor for playing with toy guns and dress up
while a bad speedsofter generally attribute:
>Tryharding as all fuck in casual games
>Never calling their hits because they're adrenaline pumping ADHD junkies
>Get upset when other people don't call hits when they probably didn't feel it, their guns wasn't actually reaching far, or the person kept taking cover as soon he/she was receiving fire
>Overshoot the shit out of people then get mad when they get overshot accidentally which results for them going full auto with their Polarstars/DSG
>Change the PSI on their tanks all the way up after chrono as they enter the game
>Blast obnoxious mumble rap on their bluetooth speaker
>Typical wannabe literally-who e-celeb douche on jewtube who will accuse anyone of cheating and upload a video with EVERY shot being a hitmarker effect because that's valid proof their guns are hitting a player and not calling it
Not everyone in the airsoft community is like this though but there are bad apples

The first half of this comment is the biggest of facts. The community back home used to be extremely tight. As time went on, more and more of the milsim types came around and it started a rift. They only wanted to beat up on the little kids and the weekend warriors, and it slowly started to kinda become a bit less of what it used to be.

The YouTube airsoters did more harm than good too in my opinion. Sure they brought in more younger players, but they mostly brought in the video game types. Not so much people that wanted to play airsoft for what it is.

I used to work for an airsoft field / shop. When the sandy hook shooting happend, i noticed a huge change in the community. The again, this was in a liberal state as it is, and the state where the shooting took place, so your milage may vary.
>>
>>4222
Its what you make it. If you surround yourself with people that take it for what it is, and play fair, you'll have a ball. Dont be one of the milsim faggots that treat this shit like its a blood sport of life and death, and don't be a speedsoft fuck that overshoot for views and never calls hits.

Be the "weekend warrior" and you'll have a lot of fun.
>>
>>5270
Yes. I even knew people that use their calsigns outside of airosft, in public.

>having a callsign in the first place
>>
>>5270
MREs are cool if you can put up with them. For some people (particularly in countries with conscription) milsim is half pew-pew, half camping.

The screaming militarism and fake honours and shit, that's just silly. I mean, surely they'd be happy among their own sort, right? But when today's rando game is made out of teenagers and so forth, it's not the way to go.

A weekend warrior is just a person that enjoys airsoft for the game. Its akin to going to the bar on a Saturday night to have a few drinks, but aren't someone who is a drunk, or an alcohol snob. They just go to de stress, have a little fun, and get back to the grind on Monday.

>>
>>5387
Cringe is relative. As long as you don't take yourself too seriously and play the game in good faith with good sportsmanship (giving the benefit of the doubt, calling hits even when you're not sure, being considerate when you shoot and do bang-kills when necessary, not getting heated when things don't go your way or you think someone's being an unsportsmanlike shit), you'll be fine. Hell, you could show up in a full fursuit and a meme kit spouting cringe memes and people will still like you as long as you're there to have fun and be a good sport. This isn't a sport for normalfags, so you don't have to worry about the normalfags judging you.
>>
>>5387
Don't be 811.
>>
>>5435
>trust me, keep the ngrs, especially if it’s a scar
It's the M4 socom, the classic-looking one with the no rail handguard.

I'm really not sure, the recoil is neat but I have no frame of reference so I don't really know how much it would matter to me. I love the empty mag detection, but I think cycle completion would mean more to me and if I just mod the echo1 I could get a gate titan and all sorts of other goodies and still pocket several hundred once all is said and done.

I'd also need to put some parts into the NGRS to get the velocity where I want it, at least a slightly stronger spring and a new spring guide.
>>
>>5441
>"just be yourself"
>"wear hentai patches you faggot"
Well if that isn't the pot calling the kettle a nigger, I don't know what is.
>>
>>5441
Like I don't mind if someone uses actual anime or vidya patches (hell, I use a patch that displays my waifu from a gacha game) as long as there's no ass or titties showing, then I won't deem it as cringe since there's typically kids playing. I'm fine with talking about that stuff if someone there shares the same interest without constantly being "all in your face" about it.
>>
>>5449
Your loss, bro. Their events have been some of the least salty I've ever been to, regularly pull hundreds, and they're really chill, wholesome folks to be around.

>>5466
There's a BTC Spectre for the NGRS. Give it time for them to come out with the mk.3 and you'll get that cycle completion in no time.
>>
>>5466
like the other anon said, get the spectre for the ngrs. i've seen people rear wire it when they get the spectre if that's you're thing or you could run a handguard that can hold a lipo. the upgrades weren't that hard back when i upgraded my scar and now parts are a lot more easier to find. pretty sure evike carries prommy and laylax parts.
>>
>>5466
Pls don't buy titan, Gate is jewing the shit out of it. Get a BTC for the NGRS or a perun for the echo1
>>
>>5483
>There's a BTC Spectre for the NGRS. Give it time for them to come out with the mk.3 and you'll get that cycle completion in no time.

Presumably those are easier to pick up these days as there are alternatives? I got mine a few years ago and I think it was the only option for an NGRS at the time so it was an absolute bitch to get hold of.
>>
>>5287
It's fine, assuming you fly. Half the guys iIplay with are current or former hog, hornet, harrier, blackhawk, kiowa or mudhen drivers. Hell, our wives refer to us by them more often than not
>>
>>5483
>>5491
Are Spectres actually happening for NGRS again? They 2.0s have been out of stock forever and the 3.0 said it was coming out ages ago. That's certainly an option though, it's way cheaper than the gate titan and I need absolutely none of the bells and whistles it has.

>>5496
>or a perun for the echo1
Looks great, I'll go for this is I end up using the SCAR. Much cheaper.

For any NGRS owners out there, what do you think of it? Does the recoil and empty mag detection really add to the game for you versus a typical AEG?
>>
I think "full metal" doesnt mean much, the metal is probably the shittiest pot metal on most cheaper guns. Until you get an LCT or Real Sword a full metal gun is just a marketing term. just my $0.02
>>
>>5568
It largely depends on manufacture. A full metal G&P M4 is preferable to an all plastic G&G or a full metal JG M4, but it's also true that a full metal JG m4 is still preferable to a plastic JG M4. It's just relative to the manufacture.
>>
>>5568
You're pretty much right. Full metal usually means it's some shitty zinc alloy or pressed metal.
>>
Congrats guys, we made it to bump limit on our new board. If you remember the old /asp/ courtesy, don't forget to wait until at least page 8 before making a new one.
>>
>>5588
>>5568
isnt the reason they use shit metal is so they cant be converted easly
>>
>>5562
it honestly does. the recoil is noticeable but not on gbb level, the moving mock bolt is pretty neat, and the empty mag detection is great. really adds an extra sense of realism and is a headturner at the fields. performance is decent out of the box for cqb and "mout" fields and it can stretch out to longer if you dial in the hop up well.
my biggest airsoft regret is selling my tm scar-l, followed by selling my real sword type 97b.
>>
>>5568
It depends but for some models even a chinesium receiver is better then poly like AR models. Even a good Poly AR will have barrel wobble due to the upper receiver flexing. Then you have CYMA AKs which are stamped steel and can be found for way less then a full metal M4. Oddly enough imo it is much easier to get a nice quality AK body then it is a M4 due to the manufacturing process. CYMA, CA, LCT, E&L, Real Sword all do stamped steel.
>>
>>5562
>>5595
also, iirc from my past research when looking for my tm scar/best airsoft scar, the echo 1 body isn't that good and doesn't have real trades. this was like 4 years ago so things could've changed but when i was picking a scar i was deciding between vfc and tm. pretty sure the we tech aeg wasnt out yet

>>
>>5730
Being American, and having real ar15's and airsoft ones, the uppers and lowers dont even come close to meshing up.
>>
>>5744
Gotta play more, think about what you are exposing and where everyone else is. Work with others instead of trying to go off on your own if you are doing that. Try and see what the better players are doing. Also remember its just a hobby, having fun is more important then anything.
>>
>>5748
I do worse than some people who go for their first time and use rentals. I do try to work with others, and it works to win games, but I still don't get any kills. Even worse is that I can't even see what the better players are doing since the field is a swamp. Even worse is that I know I can aim and shoot well with actual guns, but it goes out the window whenever it goes to plastic. I really wan to have fun with it, but I just can't get over the fact that I never win no matter how hard I try or how much money I put into it.
>>
>>5754
If you're playing to win, you're never going to have a good time.
>>
>>5754
Don't play to win, play to have fun. Think of strategies and consider your positioning, movement, and range. Actually aiming and shooting is a very small part of the larger sport. Strategy, teamwork, movement, and positioning are all far more important. You don't want to necessarily just aim and shoot well, you want to put yourself in a position where even if you're shit at aiming and shooting, you'll still get hits.
>>
>>5763
Fair point. I might as well bite the bullet and tap into speedsoft. Then again, my friends constantly reminding me that I'm bad kind of makes it hard to focus on not trying to win. I just wanna shoot things.
>>
>>5602
Helps that stamping is cheap as shit to make in mass, just got to bite the pillow on the tooling and die costs.
>>
>>5778
>has trouble with woods play
>thinks speedsoft is easier
I think I know your problem, you probably move far too fast and far too aggressively. Do you ever try and set up a semi defensive position to hit the other aggressive retards in woods play?
>>
>>5778
Whats the field you play at look like? The terrain and cover dictates how you should play.
>>
>>5790
Sometimes. Whenever I do that, it usually results in getting into a prolonged shootout with some other guy in position for a stupidly long amount of time as we take pot shots on the other's position.
>>
>>5799
It's like a woods with patches of swamp surrounding it. The field is about the size of a football field, and uses torn up fences pieces of plywood as cover, with one or two forts/bridges on either side. As for the fauna, I play in Florida.
>>
>>5802
Wait are you playing at wasteland?
>>
>>5805
No, I play at X-Plex.
>>
>>5808
Based on what I see, It looks like playing a little more aggressively might be a good thing. Bounding, and covering fire would be very advantageous. Run as a small highly mobile group of 3 or 4 people to accomplish this.
>>
>>5808
looks like a bunch of rec fields which are 1/2 way to speedsoft already. IDK man, all I know is I just played and it kinda came together eventually. With that type of field like >>5823 said aggression might actually help.

Thats all the army has ever been to me. A meal ticket. As far as the gunning down innocents thing goes, I never met anyone who just says "well fuck these people ima just take my rifle and hose people today!" The onse that say shit like that often and openly dont stick around long.

That scene in American sniper (didn't like the movie) with the kid and the rpg is pretty accurate to how a lot of "innocents" get shot. People not listening to instructions is another.
