>>109590Thready Topic: What airsoft purchase has caused you the most buyer's remorse?
>>109593Failing at upgrading a TM L96 when I could have just bought a clone. Wasted 700 bucks on that thing.
Well, that only took 11 hours and 50 mg of ritalin but I replaced the inner barrel with a madbull tightbore, replaced the polymer rail with a rather nice alu keymod one, switched out the hop-up for something nicer and converted it to HPA.
>>109593Some clone of a TM gas M-500 shotgun. It was nice in the beginning, but I swear it was a gas guzzler, then the rubber deteriorated, and then it literally broke into pieces into being completely unusable. It was a long time ago and I doubt I spent more than $200 on it, but still.
>>109593Wish I could refund these Li-Ion batteries after taking the LiPo pill. Only reason why I got these 2 batteries in the first place is because I thought handling LiPo batteries needed 24/7 care or else they'll assplode.
>>109617They kinda still do. I had a bunch sitting in their fireproof bags and left them alone for a year or two cuz covid, and many of them have ballooned. So keep them on a charge cycle.
What will people think of me if I show up to my first game with an NGRS and a duct tape plate carrier
Could anyone here give advice on getting a backpack for an HPA tank? I'm thinking of getting pic related but not sure it'll fit or be comfy.Tanks dimensions sans regulator are 275x93mm0,8l
>>109621At least they will remember you.The most important thing in making friends in airsoft is to be somewhat memorable and not to blend in so much.
>>>109579I don't even use a modular plate carrier or chest rig, so no, try again you autistic retard. Plus you're the one absolutely seething over other people wearing whatever shit kit they want, so whatever.
>>109621they'll think"that dude has his priorities straight"
>>109624I'll give you advice.Don't get no backpack. Don't get HPA. Don't be gay. Don't be even bigger dissapointment for your parents, you already play airsoft.
>>109624I have a 0.8 and this bag, and the regulator will stick out at the top. So get something taller
>>109666nothing wrong with hpa, I honestly think it can be easier to just get a compressor instead of fiddling with batteries
>current year>he doesn’t even have a tactical mini vacuum
>>109694>TippmannShitter detected lmao
>>109744You’re just mad that I’m getting all the floor bb’s
so is ghk QA still a shit?looking at a gbbr and its between a vfc or a modern ghk and all i see of ghk is shit spec cracked feed lips poor qa post covid
They'll find it goofy and remember it fondly. Airsoft players are probably some of the least gatekeepy crowd. You've got the loud outliers but most people don't care at all.
>>109669Compressors are like 300 bones bruh
>>109769good charger and a couple batteries are like 100, and you need diff batteries for diff gunsyou just need a tank and regulator for HPA and a compressor can be as cheap as 150 if you just have something smallgranted I have an industrial compressor for a nailgun because I'm a handyman, but I also have a much smaller one I use for my airbrush I got for around 100if you take care of the tank and compressor and don't let them rust etc it will literally last forever while lipos for example can be temperamental, just depends on what you like I guessI started looking into HPA stuff just recently after getting into the AAP and it's very interesting
Do your guys sites not fill up HPA? I don’t think any sites don’t where I am
>>109590RIP EvanYou're plinking with the big man upstairs now.
>>109772I use hpa too but normal compressors don't fill up a 3000 psi tank. I just fill my stuff at the arena
>>109590This unmodified CYMA M14 is the tits. God bless CYMA for making these cheap simple guns.
>>109793Most fields I've been to do, however they host paintball games/are speedsoft themed as well.
>>109744I love teh Tippys, I got an amp on mine and it's just obnoxiously loud.
>>109799Hnng my nam boner. Got an m4 just to make it a black hawk down style carbine. Got a carry handle mount and a reddot. Shit looks cash even in the beginning stage. Itll serve its purpose for now. Got yet to find a cheap og colt stock, you know the small 2 position one. Anyways never held an m14, how are the ergos. Got a fucked wrist, so is stay away from angled grips like on your pic.
>>109669>>109772Most tanks don't last forever and are required to pass hydrotesting every few years, plus a fixed date when they can't be tested anymore.>>109793Some people refill from scuba tanks that they refill for cheap at scuba shops. Useful if you need to fill at home or some remote site like a national park or somewhere where there isn't going to be a fill station.
>>109799usual cyma magicthe moment you open the gearbox it vanishes
>>109847Wish they didn't put so hot springs in their guns.
>>109814>ergosThe rock in mag is a bit fiddly, and the selector is awkward, but it's an AEG so once it's on ergos aren't a big deal.>Got an m4 just to make it a black hawk down stylepoast pics plz
>>109857True, CYMA seem pretty resistant to quick change spring gearboxes as well.
>>109593Classic Army HK33, bought it just before LCT announced theirs, really shit quality plastics (lower receiver, stock, handguard, selector, flimsy as fuck). It's an old design, and it shows. Functionally okay, but if only I'd waited.
>Event organisers go the extra mile for realism and add real explosions, injuries and ambulancesBased
Where are all my new uzi enjoyers at
>>109887Platinum seems to get them at least
>>109922That's great, and their platinum line is decent, but quick change spring should be standard by now, I mean AEG gearbox designs have barely changed in 30 years.
>>109889that's a cool looking gun>>109668Thanks, I'm gonna get a slightly bigger one then.
>>109793I'm looking at HPA rigs so this might be a dumb question. Can you do it with an electric air compressor like you do your tires with?
>>110027Yes. As long as you can adjust the bar levels
>>110027Dude, unless your tires fill to 300 Bar, do not try this.
>>110063You underestimate my tires.
>>110063I don't know what that means.
I got MSA Sordin Supreme Pro and I got a cheap Baofang radio that I want to use, what PTT/mic can I get on a budget for them?Read that I need an enhanced PTT or something, any gear nerds that have recommendations?
Guys I've never really played woodland but I want to start. I have great cqb setup but nothing good for woods maybe except specna edge which I could easily tune up to 420fps. Is it worth it to buy something special or just go with this specna? Won't I get dominated by 550fps DMRs or 600fps snipers? Im thinking about novritsch ssg 10 but idk
>>110169Hop up upgrade might be worth it. Maple leaf super macaron and omega nub
>>110228Can't recommend the macaron enough
Where is the best place to buy a WE Glock? I live in the US.
>>110365WGC
>>109870Apologies anon, i meant to reply earlier. Atm its a basic 14 inch barrel m4, it only got a t1 style red dot on the carry handle adapter as a proof of concept. I think i dig the heoght above bore on that setup, its comfy. I gotta see to making some sort of mock supressor body for the small supressor tracer unit that i got. I want the thing looking beefy, besides my barrel is too long, the style i was going for had a short barrel. In summary i gotta get a small colt stock, the car 15 handguard (mine is front wired), get the period apropriate red dot aaaand the barrel is too long. pic related is what i want and mine atm is the we got x at home meme.
trying to find a KJ Works KP-01 E2 (dual gas)Every US based retailer is sold out. Any that I find in stock are from overseas retailers that are sketchy, will take forever to ship, and want stupid high shipping costs. Can a kind hearted anon point me in the right direction?
>>110619I should also add that I live in the US.I have tried every US store in the pastebin sticky.
>>110619I have one, but it’s broken, if you want to fix it and pay for shipping I’ll send it to you for free.
>>110628Do you know what broke on it?
>>110630The guide rod for the spring won’t properly stay in place causing the gas to leak out. It’s probably a easy fix but desu after buying a AAP and spending on upgrades I don’t need any other pistol so it’s just collecting dust.
>>110634Cool. I could probably figure that out. Send me your info to this email hopped_up_anon222@hotmail.comPlease send another picture with a written note and one of the parts. Please excuse me for the caution. We can talk further via email. Thanks anon.
Bought this CYMA springer piece of shit for 40 euros Is there any way to convert it to an aeg using other gearboxes? I really want an m1 aeg but the wel d69 looks and shoots like shit, at least this shell looks good for the price
>>110678forget about it
>>110684Damn, guess I'll fix it up a bit and use it as a jank sniper with iron sights I may be autistic but i kinda like how it feels
>>110678the only M2 worth buying is the King Arms GBBR
>>110711only thing you can even do is maybe transplant a better hop up bushing into it (90% is gonna require jerry rigging) and make sure nozzle, piston etc. don't leak air. And that's assuming the entire thing goes back together as intended and you don't get stuck with a bag of gun. Cheap springers are notorious for not being designed for disassembly.
Anyone else getting excited?
>>109593Anything from a&k. They make a lot of cool shit and their's is basically the only sten available (I'm not paying $50 for a toy gun mag even if I can afford a 17s so no gbbr stens) but their externals are wobbly shit and their internals feel straight outa 2008. I regret it every time I lose my senses and buy anything from a&k.
>>110873 No. that shit's expensive and I'm a poorfag
Some lady near me was selling a lot of airsoft guns that apparently her kid had left behind when he moved out. Like 30 springer pistols (who tf buys those and in that quantity) a springer famas, mp5 and a garand, plus a couple of shotguns and more shit.Anyway there was also a AGM STG, ICS Galil, ASG Tac 6, SIG GSR and a pretty nice scope. Copped it for about a 100 euro
The CYMA Platinium CM.041G MP5s are good right? Everyone tells me they're really good.
