One of the most fascinating concepts I like to explore is what extrateresstrial music might sound like.

I was hoping some UFOfags out there maybe had some lore or leaked alien music to share.

I got MusicLM to dream this little diddy up as possible inspiration:

https://aitestkitchen.withgoogle.com/experiments/music-lm?song=4f7f9037-3352-4394-b5b8-6b97f1904166
What do you think? Could music be a uniquely human concept?

Music was introduced to us by the lyrans, that's where the name Lyra comes from. The Lyra constellation was named after the fact. When people would ask where do you learn to play [music] people would just point up at the Lyra constellation. They also psychically communicate with people and give them inspiration for music, this is where the idea of muses come from. Music is a call and response between us and the other musical entities inhabiting the universe.
>>
>>35931825
Thank you for that. Both doing it, and sharing.

Music was invented to introduce the concept of harmony, resonance, vibration, collaboration, reverberation, etc. To our ancestors. These are foundational concepts to understand when engaging in other spiritual practices, to include alchemy, this is why music, chanting, or singing is prevalent in basically all major religions.

Music is also the earliest form of telecommunication that humans had access to. Talking drums were used in Africa to send messages to people across long distances:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=12cQIJX96Tw

In other parts of the world like Spain and some parts of South America used whistling: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TfGwFM9-wFk

These musical languages had their own vocabulary and grammatical structure as well.

I agree, and I think advanced intelligences could teach a lot about exactly what that expression really means. Although all may be "one" or "connected," music can be appreciated by its distinctness from other phenomena in nature. What exactly about it that does so is what I'm interested in learning, and (call me schizo, but...) I think alien music could help teach us what music is for.

Is the concept of a beat even known to them?
The concept of some aspect of our music developed under different circumstances.
For example, the well known 4onthefloor beat (4 kicks) is based on the rythm of our pulse, or at least debraved from the mother of all music concepts, jazz. What so ever, the development of this came from a pulse reaction.
On top of that, there are some concepts known as War music and peacfull music depending on the drums.
Now you have to put into the mix the other world nature at its laws, which might be totally different from ours. Different atoms, and so on.
Also, evolution of culture so on and on.

We are in a culture that depends heavily on leaders, govermant and became over the time clutched together so heavily that we nowadays live like ants, side by side, on top of each other in block buildings. This is everything else but natural to our laws of nature. We only exist to serve for those who are on top, and let us happily govern ourself from people who only act in the interrest of those above us.

What i try to say, if this is not normal to our actually form of living, this could mean, another race out there in space might have evolved completlly different. Without the need to be ruled by a system that only favours the above rulling class. What would this mean for the culture? How would a culture like this develope? What kind of artistic expresion would such culture have? How much would this influence the creation of music?

Look at our current society, openly forcing self censuring over words and behavior to follow a moral giving by the leaders who we have to obey.
But on the other hand, you are well aware of the fact that when you censor your creatin of art, it is not trully art anymore, since it follows the order of the moral concept given to you.
Suddenly, some genres are a no go, since it falls to much into the one side the other side doesnt like.

The psytrance scene in Mexico is getting bigger each year. I'd recommend play label events they're the best in Mexico in my opinion. If you do, go to CDMX and buy your tickets from official tours. The tourbus takes you to the event and once is over they take you back to the city, that way you'll be safe and won't have to travel to the event location by yourself. You can find them on the event organizers facebook page.
Also I'd avoid ommix events though, the usually bring more mainstream psytrance djs
