Do another stretch or do them in private. Does /x/ even lift?
>>

To the retard basic pattern recognition brain it obviously looks like some stuff they saw in porn, never in person. But anyone with mediocre brain knows that to the muscles, stretching is stretching, doesnt matter how "gay" you look lmao.

Stretching is important, I see so many young men now who've Goblin'd themselves from poor posture and sedentary lifestyle.

Yoga postures were 'invented' in the late 19th century and mostly yoinked from Anglo physical culture exercises.
Most qi gong is post cultural revolution made up tom foolery as well.

Gib more info on this
>>
>>33436527
This isn't a secret so a quick google search should provide you with plenty of in-depth articles but the gist of it is that things like asanas and the various breathing exercises associated with yoga were essentially co-opted by pajeets from European gymnastics and physical culture exercises under the influence of British colonialism in the 1800's. The idea that is often times espoused of Yoga as we know it today being some 5,000 year old tradition is a complete meme. It's pajeet calisthenics.
'Qi gong' is a term popularized in the 1950's by the Chinese communist regime and promoted as a set of national heath exercises. There are of course very old references to Daoist practices that are peripherally similar to what today is called 'qi gong', and traditional Chinese medicine has very long history, but qi gong as we know it today only has a tenuous concetion to these traditions and is mostly just made up calisthenics.
It's similar to how modern day Western occultists will pretend they're part of some long unbroken tradition that goes back to the mystery cults of Ancient Egypt when it's mostly just 19th century French occult revival movement nonsense.

Mobility work, light to medium exercise, stretching and caressing stressed and mindful breathing have been very beneficial for my body and thus my relationship to it and my place in the world.

Yes but he'll have to be doing Australian plugs and elastic band exercises to strengthen his upper back and then worn towards 3 clean pullups.

same
i stretch every single day
it feels like my body and mind have finally come alive again
and i can fall asleep easy, whereas it once took me ages to finally get comfy enough to fall asleep
it makes my body feel similar to how it feels taking psilocybin

> Yoga makes you feel like a weird monkey animal.

Return to monkeh, based. Anyways all you need are hindu squats and push ups, maybe some chin ups and deadhangs for good and strong body for everyday use. With weightlifting deadlifts and overhead presses.
>>
>>33433392
Reminder that yoga has nothing to do with the body.
>>
>>33436180
Faggot
>>
>>33439047
true that. its why im recommending it and qigong over "just stretching"
>>
>>33439142
Just do hindu squats and push ups. Stretching and strength training.
>>
>>33439157
why are you shilling on me
>>33438668
this ignores all the other benefits of yoga. if youre doing chin ups you can do back work on a bar and do handstands. much better for your body
>>
>was fat
>lost weight
>body looks hideous
Do you think yoga could help make me feel comfortable in my body again? I feel so disgusting
>>
>>33438612
>>33438642
This is literally just basic common knowledge with plenty of academic papers written about it. Sorry your surya namaskar morning routine isn't some ancient wizard warrior practice but just some basic gymnastics stolen by pajeets.

Mobility/stretching/yoga is essential, learn to activate your muscles during each stretch and after the activation relax them and breath deeply and calmly, tightness in the muscles is not caused by the muscles itself but by the signals they receive from the nervous system.

Also do breathwork in which you train your diaphragm and intercostal muscles to expand along with extension of the thoracic spine (Not only the lumbar one).

Lastly ad cardio in your life, 3 times per week running will literally transform you.

The old masters lived lives in which they moved a lot, we are living in the age of sitting, don't let the couch and the chair become your main position, move fluidly.

Moving will make you look better, feel better, you'll have more energy and also guess what? Reduces anxiety and paranoid thoughts.

>tightness in the muscles is not caused by the muscles itself but by the signals they receive from the nervous system.

This dude really don’t know what lactic acid is
>>
>>33440018
Chronic tightness and general inflexibility is not caused by lactic acid (which leaves the muscles some time after exercise)

I was born with a very fucked up spine. scheurmanns disease (kyphosis), scoliosis, and one leg longer than the other. inherited from my mom (she has really bad kyphotic posture). had corrective surgery, full fusion of mid-back with parts of my hip shaved off.

I share this because I will never feel relief in stretching the midback. my spine is essentially a lever arm post-surgery. this makes me think of the spiritual consequences as well, supposed prana/chi going up from the sacral chakra to the cerebellum and back down to achieve enlightenment/kundalini energy etc.

it makes me think my destiny was one of suffering. without surgery, live with horrible, painful goblin posture where the possibility of enlightenment is there with a fucked up, albeit mobile spine. with surgery, the prana is obstructed from titanium, cadaver, and my own hip bone, possibly permanently blocked.

I still try to stretch, do my best especially to open my chest, shoulders, and roll around on hard surfaces like medicine balls, pvc pipe, and rollers to break up the scar tissue from surgery. I worry it's either all for nothing or I'm doing further damage.

fuck this world. fuck genetics. fuck women breeding when they are predisposed to mental illness, shortness, spinal disorders, thinking it will equal out by breeding with what they perceive as good genetics. it is very hard for me not to generalize and succumb to misogyny, but whenever my mind goes into incel territory, I get angry when I see little, kyphotic dwarf women fawn over six feet plus chads. the potential for dysgenic offspring is too high. chad really should only date Amazonian, mentally and physically fit women. he won't since it's the goblins are easy pickings.

You asked for this life, you (the soul) asked to be born with those hardships, they are your gift which you asked for. Love them.

And I love you, prana CAN find a way even through a destroyed spine, you can literally create your own prana pathways through your body, nothing stops you, you are the creator.
>>
>>33441227
it has always disturbed me when spiritual people tell me I asked for this life. how do you know this?

I will concede that suffering has taught me many valuable lessons, I am naturally empathic, do not judge others on a superficial level, but a "soul" level. I suppose one needs to reach the depths of suffering to sympathize, but who is to say I could not have learned these lessons with better genetics? that my empathy was intrinsic, nurture did not shape or create it.

so I understand the intention behind one choosing a "life path", but if that is the case, why am I not conscious of or remember making that choice? samsara seems unnecessarily cruel as well, to suffer in perpetuity until free of attachment. it sounds like trauma based control, breaking down a person to an empty 'void' state. what is there to do once you are completely empty? provide guidance? what is the higher purpose of it all?

I will stop with the rhetorical questions. Thank you for your kind words and support. I can sense your positive intention.

because its not really that bad. its like a dream. only 80 years? nothing to time itself
>>
Too much discussion but you faggots don't share a routine. It's been years since i've last stretched so now i'm fucked up
>>
>>33444232
Train for lotus pose, do it with an anterior pelvic tilt ALWAYS, oh and create your own routine, feel which parts of your hips and legs are tight and focus on them.

Also add the wheel pose.
>>
>>33444232
Deadlifts, squats, bench, ohp, pullups/rows.

fine you know what? I'm probably just extra sensitive and a covert narcissist. you pointed out my hypocrisy, congrats.

the irony is, I did start out empathic. I bought into all the bullshit and love and light. I'm still civil. but in the majority of people I see willful ignorance, spite, entitlement, and when you acknowledge disparity, you're the bad guy.

everyone should keep breeding. especially the dysgenic ones because life is so precious and the way humanity treats each other is proof positive of that.
