I keep getting mixed messages from different sources. Is Astral Projection dangerous?
>>
>>29264255
Had 2 experiences in the last night and previous day. The first was a mid day nap where I found myself looking at my phone, everything seemed normal and real except the battery indicator was wildly fluctuating, 80%, 50%, 2%, 100% ect. This caused a "uh wtf" moment that snapped me back to the physical.

The second was a dream where again I was suddenly looking at my phone in bed, scrolling through the pictures with my wife. All of a sudden there are two nudes that aren't her which makes her super pissed lol, next thing I'm thinking "hey I dont have any porn on my phone!" aaaaaannnd its gone I wake up.

Not much but starting to catch glitches that trigger awareness in dreams so I'll chalk it up as progress.
>>
>>29264255
What does it mean if I have seen "entities" in my room upon waking (not in sleep paralysis) days after achieving AP for the first time? I feel like I'm going schizo anons..
>>
>>29264628
what did you see and how did you get out?
>>
i'm noticing that something that happens to me in my non lucid dreams a lot is that i have hypothetical scenarios in my head, and then suddenly i "flash into" that scenario for a bit then go back to what i was doing
like if i'm planning a trip with a group of friends in a dream, if i imagine doing something, i experience that like a cartoon imagination scene, but not really

not to get all spiritual, but maybe that's what an intense visualization or something is supposed to feel like.
but it's all dream so it doesn't matter
>>
>>29264709
I watched Michael Raduga's seminar and kind of followed his method. I meditated and visualized myself "swimming out" and then I just popped out and floated above my body. It was so surprising that I immediately went right back in and my body was in sleep paralysis.

I only saw it once, but so weird a smiling reptilian-ish face. A few days after I saw it my toddler said the smile was scaring them and pointed to the same spot it appeared to me. It didn't scare me at the time but I really don't know what to make of it. I'm not normally into paranormal stuff.
>>
>>29264787
>my toddler said the smile was scaring them
fuck that spooks me. I have a 13mo old and the thought of exposing him to shit like that is terrifying. I haven't projected yet so I can't speak to that, but I'm religious and invoking the name of God has done wonders for me many times in dreams. My understanding so far is that LD and AP are one and the same with different names for the same phenomenon. I've been through Raduga, a bit of Robert Monroe and Frank Kepple's and Xanth's works from astral pulse forum. Again I'm a non projector though so I might be totally wrong.

I haven't had any success with Raduga's methods so far although I enjoyed his book and keep his methods in mind when I practice.
>>
Bump before bed, don't let it die plz
>>
>>29264787
I was going to say it's just a hypnagogic hallucination but maybe there's more to the phenomena. I've seen weird shit too, including floating glowing football-like entities and ghost girls.

Once when I was staying at my stepfathers, I encountered a shadow person without the paralysis when waking. I heard footsteps coming in and then felt a tug on my shirt. I figured it was my mother but when I rolled over there was what looked like a young boy shadow person standing beside me. It disappeared pretty quickly and I went back to sleep. My stepfather thinks that there's a family of spirits living in his home.
>>
>>29265408
Yeah it spooked me too because I just assumed it was a hypnagogic hallucination like the poster >>29265878 said below. I haven’t tried to AP again because maybe I don’t want to draw anything into my home again.
>>
>>29265878
How does seeing stuff like that make you feel? How do you deal with fear?
>>
Hey /x/ bros, /pol/ tard here. Anyone hear about a guy called big bill? post started as the political uses for lucid dreams, one anon proposed we astral project to top military locations for curiosity. Another anon told us that it’s guarded by “big bill”. Anyone know who or what he is? I’m an experienced lucid dreamer, but this projection stuff is completely outside my expertise. At first I thought big bill anon was kidding, but he went in to great detail and I want to know if you’ve heard of him. Also got any tips for an lucid dreamer going into ap, I’m quite skeptical about it. Lucid dreaming is real but projecting your spirt to another dimensional plane just seems wack to me.
>>
>>29267359
Heads of state and high value areas are protected. People tried to remote view Putin once and were forced away by shadowy bodies. Big Bill is probably some guy working for the pentagon who monitors specific areas.

>>29267396
A similar event occurred with donald trump. For context, those "Shadowy bodies" are a form of countermeasure to remote viewing developed by the CIA and USSR at around the same time the technology itself was being pioneered. They aren't actual entities, just visual manifestations of a kind of interference that is generated with what is commonly called a "psychotronic weapon". Basically think psychic static.

>Read some shit
>Go to the eye
>Listen to a theta wave ocean mp3

Any tips on making a successful AP? I swear reading from experience is better than strutting through a ton of information just to condense it into something coherent
>>
>>29268878
top load or side load washing machine?
>>
>>29268972
Empty washing machine, doesn't really matter
>>
>>29269010
side load washing machines usually have windows so you could've at least looked out.
kinda stuffed if it was a top load, since there's no window.
>>
>>29269025
If you really want to know, it's a side washing machine
>>
>>29269041
so what was out the window?
>>
>>29269055
Now that I think about it, it was my room and the washing machine was in the middle of it clipping through my bed. Might be because of the whole segment where I imagined getting out of my body.

With the blink of an eye, I was in front of the washing machine after seeing my soul arm out of my arm
>>
>>29264255
thats avalon from FSN lmao

>>
>>29266822
It's a mix. I don't usually feel fear when I experience shadow people anymore but there's still the odd time where something will bring out that natural fear of absolute dread. There's not much I can do when something scares me during sleep paralysis or during a hallucination, I just wait it out. If I experience something frightening in a lucid dream, I just blast it with white light.
>>
>>29264255
Well anon, tell me what my dreams mean? Last night I dreamed of some burning numbers that were reflected in green glass but I did not know the source of these numbers, they were placed as if they were written in an oriental way. they were being shown in a kind of meeting where there was a priest. It is the second one related to the church, I asked previously in >>>/b/ but did not get a good answer.
>>
Be very careful. You don’t want to wonder too far. I’ll tell you my story as shortly as I can.

>be 12
>always remember being able to travel in my sleep for short distances
>would always wake up in other parts of the house with my bed still perfectly made and my bedroom door closed
>never took it too far except once
>I woke up in a room that I’ve never been in
>instantly understood that I wondered way too far
>felt sick to my stomach and dizzy because I wondered so far in the dream realm
>my body was still adjusting to being back on earth
>look outside a window
>see that I’m 3 houses down the street from my home
>quietly sneak out of the back door and stumbled back home
>didn’t tell my strict parents what happened because I know that they wouldn’t understand and would probably ground me
>never tried to dream walk again

I recommend not getting involved in this stuff. You might wonder too far away. You might not get lucky like me. You might never come back.

Attempts at lucid dreaming:
>repeat a mantra for 10 mins before sleeping
>can lucid dream consistently after a week of this

Attempts at astral projection:
>waiting in bed for hours for my body to fall asleep while trying to make my astral body come out
>all i got after 2 weeks was colors in my vision and humming on the right side of my head (pic related)
>occurred only once and was short
>keep trying 2 more weeks
>nothing at all happens
>have to quit because im not getting rest

Is astral projection supposed to feel so prohibitively difficult? Can someone good at this tell me what im doing wrong?

Not sure if this will help you, as I don't really try to purposefully lucid dream or AP, I just happen to get a lot of lucid dreams, sleep paralysis, etc. I've had the feeling of floating out of my body and have just tried to roll with it. I never make it very far, but the more it happens, the further I go. I think just relax and give it time.
>>
Does keeping a well oxygenated room assist in lucid dreaming? Do you guys keep plants in your room, or keep the window open?
>>
Tried to method in the first video. Had some success. After several tries I just couldn't fall back alseep. My best attempt was getting to step 3 my personal goal. I tried to fly but the dream ended almost immediately.
>>
Ho-lee shit /x/ bros, it finally happened. How tf is LD not common knowledge? Flying around is the coolest shit ever!
>>
I can't fucking improve my dream recall goddammit. Tried the journal for week after week, by the time I get to it (on my nightstand) it's already mostly gone and I can usually only write a sentence or maybe even a word or two. My journal is filled with shit like "was outside" and "there was a table", but mostly it's "don't remember anything". I get 7-8 hours of sleep a night and wake up to an alarm.

What am I doing wrong? I could be lucid or projecting every night but I wouldn't know because I can't remember shit
>>
>>29278389
I was having that happen with flying, dream falls apart immediately. The only time it worked for me, I imagined swimming through the air. It worked great, probably because my body knows what swimming feels like.

An odd side effect came along in that, somewhere in the background, the super mario bros underwater level music started playing
>>
>>29278557

It's not common knowledge because people don't even assume it's real and since most thing this is unnatural, you won't really see it at all.

Fever dreams/ect are normal but not the lucidity of it. But once you get the hang of them, you're in for some great fun shit.
>>
>>29276509
Astral Projection is definitely some bullshit thing to do because barely anyone is capable of it and can explain it properly.

Lucid dreaming is piss easy since you can just follow a tl;dr greentext version of it and get instant results, but I have yet to see the same for AP
>>
>>29279011
Try to keep yourself aware when you are trying to sleep. Having your brain being active while you fall asleep should help you not only go lucid, but remember details of your dream

>>
>>29280712

>>
>>29276509
You're not really doing anything wrong per se, its just that not just anyone can or even should Astral project.

Also, it may help to note, you might have more success with projecting yourself if you knew *where* you wanted to go, rather than trying to Astral project just to see if it works.

Memorable hallucinations can become psychic manifestations and whatnot. Not only does it make sense as to why literally anything can be a ghost/entity, but it also explains some of the inconsistencies behind these phenomena (human error even if what they experience is real)
I'd recommend reading up on Philip the Ghost.
>>
>>29276509
Not someone good at this but someone who was in a similar situation and actually managed to do it a couple times (though almost instantly snapped back :\)
you gotta be asleep and aware at the same time. the only times it really worked for me was coming straight out of a nightmare and one time right after i went back to bed in the morning. it's supposed to feel like you superimposed the dream state into reality.
though once you're there you know exactly what it is and what to do. take solace in this and stop trying to do anything, you'll know it when it comes. it still feels like moving but you just know.
if you reeaaallly want a marker though; your hair will feel completely weightless. that's the most remarkable thing i observed in the 9 total seconds of AP experience i have.
>>
Reading the intro of the ebook it says its the 2011 version and there is a newer 2015 version. Anyone have a PDF of it? Don't really want to spend any money.
>>
Reminder that if you fall asleep while retaining your consciousness and enter a rem phase of your sleep, you are going to experience a dream. What people here describe as an AP method is a well-known and commonly practiced lucid dreaming method. Why would someone think that simply being aware throughout the process of falling asleep causes your consciousness to catapult itself into an actual alternate dimension is beyond me.
>>
>>29280921
>I remember more of my dreams
How much do you remember? The entirety of the dream?
>>
I spent two hours trying to astral project, after i got to the phase i separated easily from my body. My room looks strange, it looks like a huge bedroom mansion strecthed out, i consider if i actually lucid dreaming but after a few test it doesnt seem like it. I tried to phase through the wall to get out but the walls is so real, its as solid as the wall in reality, so i visualize myself and the wall started rippling but thats it, i still cant get out. After that i feel like i sort of breath and i wake up.
>>
>>29282259
Basically if i dont record my dreams i will have days where "i didnt dream at all" (really just no memories of dreams).

Everyone is you pushed out

What you find attractive in someone is you projecting yourself onto them, usually your own supressed traits

If you are dreaming about someone from the past you should meditate on why you found them attractive and their traits then think about your own traits that you are supressing

Everyone is your mirror, you are not missing anything , you have everything within you , but you may be supressing parts of you , many of us do that,if not all of us,time to heal

Anyone else encounter crystals in their lucid dreams? This has happened a few times to me now where I am lucid and then I find these crystals. They look like crystals but they aren't really solid. They are sticky and melty and if I take one a touch another one with it they fizzle and melt. Then I eat them kind of like they are drugs but I don't notice any sort of effect that they have on me. Anyone else experienced anything like this?
>>
>>29282300
I haven't really been astral, but whenever I encounter walls while lucid since I know I am dreaming I just start tearing them apart with my hands. They end up feeling like loose fiberboard and always give way. You can make them dissapear with your thought too. It's just that it doesn't happen immediately after you think about it. There'e a delay from intention to a changed reality. Just persist in your thought that you want to go through and it will happen.
>>
>be me just now

>>
I can lucid dream, but have never had success with astral projection. Then I discovered this YouTube channel here and this video about how to move from a lucid dream to an astral projection.
>realize I'm lucid dreaming
>stop the dream so everything goes dark and I'm in my body in bed with eyes closed still dreaming.
>"This is it just get up and leave your body behind"
>get up out of bed but then get bothered because my whole body got up out of bed
>think "whelp that didn't work" and lay down again and lucid dream for a while until my alarm rings.
>later realize I never actually physically got up out of bed. I was astral projecting but it felt real so I thought that I wasn't

If you can lucid dream but not astral project I recommend trying this method and don't get tricked when it works. Hopefully I can try again soon.

So you were dreaming, you let the sensory input fade into nothing and found yourself back in your bed while still dreaming. Then you "got up", but you were in fact still in that very same dream. Finally, your dream turned lucid again until an alarm woke you up. This all happened within the course of one single dream, but somehow you believe that you were not dreaming, but "astral projecting" at some point? I guess I really don't understand "astral projection".
>>
>>29282713
>I guess I really don't understand "astral projection"
lol who does?

Still Michael Raduga talks about "The Phase" which encompasses both dreaming and astral projection. The way I see it in both situations your consciousness is in your "dream body" not your "material body". When you are dreaming your dream body is in the dream world which is perhaps created by your subconscious. While you are astral projecting your dream body is in the material world. That's my best guess so far but I certainly don't "understand".

>>
>>29282769
>When you are dreaming your dream body is in the dream world which is perhaps created by your subconscious. While you are astral projecting your dream body is in the material world.
I think the issue lies in being able to differentiate between actual material world and an approximation of it created by your subconscious mind with some degree of confidence. Personally I've found myself in a carbon copy of my room and its immediate surroundings on numerous occassions, and not once was I convinced that whatever I was experiencing was something entirely different from a dream.

How do you stay grounded? It’s hard not to feel like you are going mad. Can it close again once open? Is it easier to open again if you’ve opened it once already?
>>
I find I’m pretty limited in what I can do in my lucid dreams. I tend to get lost in a labyrinth of plain looking rooms. When I do find persons to interact with (that aren’t hostile), I either have innocuous conversations, or the person gets disfigured in some horrifying way or just screams in terror. In any case, it’s lost its novelty.
How can I utilize lucid dreaming to have profound experiences? The idea of having fun in a playground doesn’t really interest me. I want to see some crazy shit. In regular dreams I have seen incredible visual spectacles that filled me with awe and terror, but I can’t seem to invoke any of that in my lucid dreams.

Work on your root chakra,do some physical activity and be present in the moment , earthing , walking barefoot on grass can also help

You can also eat some heavy food and stuff like garlic, sometimes i still do that when i feel too dreamlike

There is a reason why most systems go from root to crown chakra , you gotta have a firm foundation so you don't fly away :)

I am not sure you can turn it off once it's on,though you may be unaware of it at times , but it still "works" in the background

It also helps to just have a group to talk about this with , you are not alone in this

Do you typically remember more from your LDs than normal dreams? Does the lucidity mean that you remember the dream like you would an experience in your waking hours? My dream recall is awful so I don't see the point in trying if all I remember is the vague feeling of being lucid and a few details at best. I'm new to this
>>
>>29288096
Yeah I do. Still feels like a lot of fine details end up being erased from my memory (probably because I don't have enough time to record everything while it's still fresh in my mind) but definitely my dream recall it's better when I LD. But I think as time goes by, it does get better.

I had a long dream awhile back a little be before the McGregor Porier 2 fight. I was in a storage unit with my brother and McGregor and I remember laughing because he was so short and reminded me of a leprechaun. Anyways we are talking and he tells us about using elbows and shows us the technique. Fast forward to the fight and he uses the exact technique he showed us. Still lost the fight but it was interesting to me that I saw it before it happened. I've recently cut off masturbation, drugs and alcohol and man do you dream.

I did have a question if anyone could answer: a night ago I had just fallen asleep and it was like a distorted static, I couldn't make sense of the visuals and all I could hear was a buzzing and static. The best way to put it is it felt like my brain was short circuiting. I just starting thinking Jesus Jesus Jesus and woke up saying it. I've been off 5 grams of shrooms before so I have a good idea of things I feel, but this was genuinely scary to me. Once I woke up I was fine though. Proceeded to have like 5 dreams after that drifting in and out of sleep. Does anyone know what it could have been?

That's just more proof of the entity coming from your subconscious mind rather than from the outside. The entities in dreams change depending on your emotional state. If you are scared they will look and behave in a way that warrants fear, the moment you show them love they will reciprocate that. I've turned some of my dream "demons" into friendly entities this way and chilled with them for a while after that. In my opinion this really drives home the point that it's you who creates those entities and influences (or outright dictates) how they behave.

Why are you here and not on reddit?
Why are there so many retarded skepticfags suprised about people believing in AP on a fucking paranormal board.
Think for more than two seconds: the two are often conflated because lucid dreaming (or dreaming in general) involves a sort of projection of senses into a world constructed by your unconscious mind. AP is literally the same thing except the astral is a world constucted by the collective unconscious. By definition AP is a superset of lucid dreaming.
Smug hylics trying to antagonize APers need to leave. A few decades ago we didn't even know lucid dreaming existed from an empirical standpoint. Plenty of normalfags still don't believe lucid dreaming exists because it's hard to pull off. Just because you can't do it doesn't mean it doesn't exist.

>>29290922
>It's all bullshit until you experience it for yourself,it takes humility to accept things that we haven't experienced yet and listen to those who have
I think the issue here is that the belief in AP often comes from inexperience rather than the other way around. For example, I can't bring myself to fully believe in AP, because every time someone mentions that one time they succesfully astral projected it sounds exactly like something I experience in my lucid dreams on a regular basis. Seemingly the only difference lies in me not finding this exact same experience all that mystical. When I ask the people who astral project what methods they use to achieve AP, it turns out they use the exact same method that I use for lucid dreaming, but their end result is "astral projection" even though it sounds just like plain old lucid dreaming to pretty much any experienced lucid dreamer.

Used this last night. Had a dream where I came across a bundle of clothing "swimming" in a pool of water. I approached it and an old classmate of mine emerged as the form wearing the originally disembodied clothes. I asked its name, and it said it was me. I became agitated at hearing this (mostly cause the classmate was someone I found really irritating lmao). I shapeshifted into a beast, tore into their throat, and immediately woke up unsettled at 2:55 AM.

The lucid dream world is created by your mind where only you have free will, everything obeys you if you want

AP means accessing the collective reality, the universe, everyone has free will

Listen. Really listen to me. I promise you I am not Larping. I have done this. A lot. It is not what you think. It is not something to will doing and by doing so, you are VERY probably opening up the door to other things which you do not want to deal with. I am 100% lucid and sane and never hallucinate or have delusions or anything throughout the day. I have spent literal years undoing what I did by opening the door, enduring seriously, literally, Hellish torment from literal demons when I go to sleep. It is NOT WORTH IT JUST TO SATISFY CURIOSITY. It is NOT WORTH IT. DON'T DO IT. I used to think it was a great thing to tell people about to get them around to the idea of a spiritual world. It is NOT. Seriously SERIOUSLY trust me. I am not hyperbolic about much and I am speaking in extreme terms with a lot of caps lock but it is actually representative of a true degree of severity. I was saved by Jesus. It is not worth it and not something you can bear yourself. Hell is real and it is a fucking horrifyingly long way DOWN.
>>
>>29295700
Additionally, many which present you with information which you intuitively deem as the prospect of enlightenment are actually leading you to slaughter. It is a trojan horse where they pretend to be helping you but are actually crushing you under the weight of your own curiosity or desire for spiritual whatever. You CAN become a borderline passive slave to your own desire to know. I have had information download type things by things which once I started seeing through and becoming more lucid to were actually not good beings and sometimes were even lying. You don't need to know everything and there are many things you don't know for good reason, some you will learn; but this is not the right way. The only things you need to know is that God exists and to trust Jesus Christ.
>>
>>29295700
Nice larp (or schizophrenia in which case I'd feel genuinely sorry for you). Now consider a different perspective: We can't just go from 100% wakefulness to sleep and vice versa in a split second, there always is a short period of time right before falling asleep or right before fully waking up during which we are sort of inbetween the two states - not fully awake, but not asleep either. At this time you can potentially see various dream imagery intermingling with reality which includes hearing voices/noises before falling asleep or seeing shapes/entities right after waking up. If you fuck with your sleep schedule this becomes all the more likely to happen to you.
I've seen some shit on the verge of sleep too, but in no way those hallucinations had any actual effect on my life.
>>
>>29295817
Great but I have learned things which were predictive on a very firm literal basis as well as seen things which happened at the time in other places in the world and received confirmation upon waking. I'm definitely not schizo, and I am very seriously not larping. There was a week where I seriously could barely take it. It happened every night. The second night i tried to sit up to try to stay awake and would instantly begin slumping down slipping out without even laying down. I had NEVER had this happen to me falling asleep. I also suspect you know very little about psychology and your "now consider" isn't some revelation I hadn't stumbled across in years of experience. It is the obvious materialist take which literally anyone with a pulse would immediately use to write off the experience but can't account for mine. Either way, really my thesis is just avoid this at all cost.
>>
>>29295817
Btw I have had what you're describing too. You are conflating two very distinct things
>>
>>29295870
>>29295887
Since you adressed your reply to (>>29264628), that's specifically what I was reacting to, not your experiences as a whole. Generally speaking, seeing "entities" right after waking up is pretty common among lucid dreaming/AP practicioneers and the overwhelming majority doesn't report any negative side effects. You are exceptional in this regard. I'm unable to say whether it's due to you larping, being mentally ill, or genuinely interacting with the spiritual world (which is, of course, also a possibility), but for most of people it's completely safe to lucid dream/astral project. I just don't want you to scare some poor anon when it's almost certain that they are in no real danger.
>>
>>29295951
>But for most people it's completely safe to astral project

By which foundation of fact do you adjudicate this statement as true? How do you feel as though you possibly have enough information to validly qualify safety to this? People do experience entities in the room in both circumstances. The times they do on the edge of consciousness are not necessarily arbitrary hallucinations either. I mean this with extreme respect but you have absolutely no idea what the fuck you're talking about and are trying to shoehorn an entire world of experience you have not had into a very conventional worldview. I appreciate you are not doing so maliciously, but I would urge you to not speak declaratively over things you do not have a deep acquaintance with. This is one thing I hope you won't gain justification to speak declaratively over. I'm not schizophrenic and actually I was worried about it at the time and talked to a psychologist and he legitimately told me I was not crazy and that I was a genius. I only saw him twice so take that for what you will but I the external world vindicating my experiences is really unexplainable but I suppose it is impossible to convey to you that it really happened.
>>
>>29296131
Psych came highly recommended by the way and was described as one of the top in my state. I got to see him because my dad did a construction job for a guy and he pulled some strings because I was so stressed out. I was equivalently invited to the eminent most expert and inventor of the specific field of behavioral analysis's house for a pizza party after I did so well in his course to try to recruit me for his grad program at which party I told him I thought his perspective was full of shit. But either way I was to major degree literally vetted by one of the top psychologists in the world and he apparently deemed me sane enough. Lol His name is Richard Mallott. I laughed in his class when he said that because I instantly thought "Dick Hammer." I am not making this up, I swear.
>>
Once and only once (far as I can remember) did I realize in mid-dream that I was dreaming, I was at this park I know well and I tried to influence my the dream but instead I felt my mind / soul moving upwards - I saw / felt myself floating upwards until I came back to.

What did I do wrong?
>>
>>29296131
>By which foundation of fact do you adjudicate this statement as true?
>How do you feel as though you possibly have enough information to validly qualify safety to this?
Just statistics. I've interacted with possibly hundreds of users here on /x/, frequented online fora with tens of thousand registered users who regularly experiment with self-induced altered states of consciousness such as lucid dreaming or ap. I've also read various literature on the subject which, again, contained many personal accounts of people dealing with this stuff. Only a miniscule percentage of people ever complained about negative effects, and those negative effects usually were very mild such as insomnia or the like. I could count people who reported experiencing "Hellish torment from literal demons when they go to sleep" on the fingers of one hand.
In the same way I could ask you by which foundation do you deem the practice dangerous with the exception of your own personal experience - you being only a single practicioneer out of millions?

What you say turned out to be pretty interesting, and I sense no malice from you either, but I will still claim that for your average joe doing ld/ap should be perfectly safe. Metaphorically speaking, you might just be that one allergic who dies after drinking one glass of milk even though most people can ingest it daily.

Lads, I wanna try this but I'm a brainlet.
I watched the video of that dude talking to the class but have no idea wtf he's saying.
All I got was
>Set an alarm for 6 hours after you start trying to sleep
>When the alarm goes off, wake up, get out of bed, go stretch your legs by walking around the house or w/e for a few minutes (how many minutes exactly?)
>Go back to bed, repeat to yourself that you will now try to enter the phase
>Fall asleep
>????? (Do you try to wake yourself up here or what?)
>If you do wake up and aren't in dream land, do you just stay in bed and tell yourself you're gonna try enter the phase again then try to go back asleep again?

I just wanna do some degenerate shit before I stop myself from being a degenerate.
How do you go about fucking somebody in dream land? How do I materialize some cutie to fuck me?

Like I'm not sure on what is supposed to happen even when I do start lucid dreaming. I assume I start off in my room, but like what do I do from there, how do make the things you want to do in the dream happen?

Going on my 6th year into my dream journo, i keep note of everything i see. Lots of omens in my dreams-most of the times have been bad. I actually hate dreaming because of it-which is why I like cannabis before sleep but I digress.

As far as the ASmR hypnosis...

I dont know any other way, but would love to know what other methods are available.

I see no positive reason why to do any of this shit.
All I see from these threads is
>DUDE I WOKE UP AND FUCKING ENTITIES WERE ALL AROUND ME
>DUDE I NOW HAVE SLEEP PARALYSIS EVER SINCE I LEARNED HOW TO DO THIS
>DUDE I'M UNDER CONSTANT ATTACK FROM ENTITIES WHENEVER I SLEEP NOW
>DUDE I'M UNDER CONSTANT ATTACK FROM ENTITITES EVEN WHILE AWAKE NOW
>DUDE I SAW A FEMININE REPTILE THING WEARING THE SKIN OF A HUMAN AND SHE ACTED LIKE SHE WANTED TO FUCK BUT SOON AS I GOT CLOSE SHE STARTED DROWNING ME
Where the fuck is the benefit?
Why don't you ever hear
>Yeah so I got into the lucid dream state and then fucked my favourite touhou character and it was great
But no, instead all I hear every single thread is fucking nightmare fuel. No thanks, I think I'll pass.
>>
I saw some post on reddit about this dreaming tea, anyone know what would be in it?
>>
>>29299374
Then why are you here?
>>
>>29280095
They don't assume it is real because fags polluted lucid dreaming with "AstRAl ProjECtoOn"
>>
>>29299374
yeah but like, isnt that fuckin cool that that can happen if so
>>
>>29299374
Because of childhood trauma (I crashed into a corner of a building and hurt my dad when he was teaching me to drive) I was always shaky, anxious and stressful when learning to drive. I couldn't barely start engine without fear and then became paralyzed behind steering wheel. ONE long lucid dreaming driving session helped me. It helped me to fully realize and understand my fears, that driver is the who rules the car and you need proper focus. Literally was able to drive same morning. With a bit of fear, but I was finally able to do it! Also I practiced language in LD can't say how much it helped, but I am sure it did. I assume you can practice stuff while lucid dreaming, but a lot of people are interested in schizo stuff only so only few aware of practical benefits. You are much more refreshed and rested after lucid dreaming, you can beat phobias, do planning, making music, creating architecture, relive best moments with loved ones. Thing is, it requires a lot of control. I personally know nobody who can reliably do those things. For me it is inconsistency was source of frustration. I do everything right and no LD, next day I do nothing and get LD when unprepared. There is so much you can get from LD.
>>
>>29299374
Also, addition. People get all of these entities and attacks because they expect it to happen and literally manifest all of that shit themselves.
>>
>>29299374
Ive literally never had this problem and i do have night terrors
And i am attacked in my lucids
>>
>>29299627
Nah, it isn't that cool that you can't focus and control your mind. Shouldn't you be in charge?
>>
>>29299660
Thats awesome anon!
>>
>>29300048
Thanks. I am really bewildered how people think about LD. Nobody takes it seriously. Maybe because of astral traveling types.
>>
>>29301081
i mean people barely care bout dreams either and there increidbly interesting by themselves
>>
So something finally happened. I saw the "3D black space" with what looked like a holographic projection of Hayley Kiyoko exactly as she looked on CSI: Cyber. Now I haven't seen or thought about her at all (at least consciously) since that show was cancelled 5 years ago. I came closer, aware that I was imagining it, but then she looked 100% real and solid. I started to kiss her, and felt like real human lips kissing me back. Memory blanked out after that before I woke up again.
>>
>>29301199
I did make out with her for a bit while still lucid, and she looked in the dream exactly like in the pic.
>>
>>29299680
This
>>
>>29299680
Im trying to get better at not being harassed, i feel like i made progress today as i flat out just told one to leave and stabbed the others
>>
>>29301897
It ain't that hard, honestly. I started doing LD because of intense nightmares. I don't know a fool proof way to fight it. It is hard to explain, damn. What helped me, I just reminded myself that I am dreaming, literally inside of myself, I am a fucking god there. At first, I also did all sorts of horrible things to the "demons" and "monsters" in my dreams. My lucidity during dreams, imo, was product of luck, because it was always the same scenario which helped me to instantly identify that I am sleeping. Taking control from here is very easy to me, usually. Maintaining long control takes practice. So, after few LD where I punched demons into bloody mess I gained confidence that they aren't a threat. I was then able to ignore them and don't interrupt my business. With time I realized, that somehow, those entities are product of me. My frustration, my fears, anxiety was just manifesting in my dreams. I was afraid of the darkness after watching aliens as a kid and xenomorphs were a common theme. Once, I tried what other anon suggested, to try manifest a positive, good or pleasant setting for these entities. I remember vividly as I tell to xenomorph not to be afraid in a school class (I was middle schooler at that time), reach to it and hug it. I swear, I never saw a nightmare with these creatures again. More importantly, I wasn't afraid of the darkness after that.
>>
>>29302574
then again I am a full blown materialist so maybe that helps
>>
>>29302592
maybe, but ive had meaning of why things happen in my dreams told to me by what is allegedly my subconcious
but yeah i think im doing well
>>

i have sunny days but its usually 'im inside so i just get some rays and its dim otherwise' or 'its like id afternoon but i dont really care or notice as im not lucid'

That's great anon! that's my end goal in fact, to fully master lucidity and learn to practice like in the matrix such as fighting techniques, acrobatics and who knows what else is possible.

maybe you can use lucid sex to alter your mental pathways to make real sex better?
>>
>>29305566

i don't really lust after real sex anymore. been abstaining for a while and plan to continue until i find someone really worth having a relationship with. haven't really been having any lucid sex either, there's more important things to do now. i'm beginning to think that sex for physical stimulation is just a giant cope for other problems in life. im totally onboard with sex for emotional enhancement of a relationship though, that's important.
>>
>>29305611
i think there is a difference between being a coomer and trying to have better sex

>i'm beginning to think that sex for physical stimulation is just a giant cope for other problems in life.
our bodies are hardwired to want it, so i think there's nothing wrong with wanting it. i'm starting to believe however that many people's mental pathways involving sex are fucked but can be fixed, but not fapping is just ignoring it but not fixing it

I've been trying to LD or project the past few nights with the WILD method but I fall asleep without fail every time. I don't even recognize it happening, my brain just shuts off in the middle of me keeping myself awake. Does this just mean I'm sleep deprived af?
>>
>>29305732
are you doing wbtb with wild or not?
>>
>>29305837
Yes
>>
>>29305858
you can try a few different things. leave your bed and sleep in a different room on another bed or couch. this will help a lot as an unfamiliar sleeping environment will make you more aware. you can also try taking a sip of coke or other caffeinated beverage.
>>
>>29305732
WILD is hard as fuck tho, it takes a long time to master, and it shouldn't be your first method. You should first try with DILD methods, or the indirect one, to get familiar with how LDs/being "out of your body"/whatever feels, then go for WILD

no, here is how you do it
>Set an alarm for 6 hours after you start trying to sleep
>When the alarm goes off, wake up, get out of bed, go stretch your legs by walking around the house or w/e for a few minutes (how many minutes exactly?)
>Go back to bed, repeat to yourself THAT YOU THE MOMENT YOU WAKE UP YOU DONT MOVE YOUR BODY AT ALL AND INSTANTLY TRY TO SEPARATE. Essentially, the first thought when waking up should be to levitate, roll out, or whatever you fucking else choose to seperate
>Fall asleep
>Hope the first thought you have when waking up is separating
>You woke up but thought about lolis instead? Then go back to sleep and try again until your body finally remembered to think about separating as the first thing when waking up

to the other things, ask again here if you managed to separate first. The less you have to think about, the easier it gets for your body to remember to separate after waking up instead of other useless shit
>>
my only experience with trying to do astral projection or trying to achieve lucid dreaming was just 3 years of constant sleep paralisis. this was 8 years ago im never doing that shit ever again. i might have done it wrong but i remember i tried so hard and only thing i always got was just god damn SLEEP PARALISIS

I'm really bad at this stuff. I just want to have lucid dreams but even though I try to be as mindful as possible during waking life, my dreams are still nonsensical shit where I never become lucid

What's the difference between dream yoga and modern Lucid/AP methods? Would you recommend reading it even if you already can astral project?

It's a different methodology and the end goal is enlightenment, although for now I'd just like to be able to LD, enlightenment isn't my primary concern
And sure you should read it, it's interesting, talks about energy channels and how to use them during sleep and whatnot.

/succgen/ fag here. I tried the ritual and since then I had occasionally nights where I suddenly got lucid without me doing anything or doing reality checks during the day, and always there were two women next to me when I got lucid - one younger and one older. It's probably Queen Agrath's doing since her specialty is apparently in dream manipulation and astral projection.

So I wanted to meet her or the two women on my own with Astral Projection, but I really suck at it. I managed to leave my body and my deepening was good enough for it to feel 60% real. But always when I tried to use the door from my bedroom to teleport to them, I just wake up.
Any tips on how I can meet them easily in the astral and how to deepen better?

Astral projection from sleep is funky. Some people can get it immediately, or have 'beginners luck' but then get stuck, others struggle to get anything, as you have noticed.
It's better to build up familiarity with the state through methods NOT dependent on sleep, such as some of those in this book

>>

I think the poor quality of sleep might be directly responsible for no lucids rather than just a byproduct of that. No matter how great the prospect of lucid dreaming sounds, you might want to put it off until you fix your sleep.

l keep dreaming of the area l grew up. l may revisit it irl to see if anything changes

>>29320848
it's just that i have been retarded and watching videos on my phone before bed. that combined with the sheer self hatred i feel in bed usually keeps me up
i need to go to bed earlier and i just haven't

lots of time wasted. LD coincides directly with trying to sleep earlier and having better sleep hygiene, and most days i feel like absolute garbage for staying up late so i really should just stop

last night i had some intensely vivid dream that i can't remember at all. i remember the vague image, but oddly enough it was probably one of the most vivid dreams i had in a while and i'm sure of that, but i can't remember the details well
>>
>>29320895
Anon, I'm not a psychologist, but that's simply not how you succeed at lucid dreaming. I also suspect that your failures are creating a negative feedback loop further damaging your self-worth. You need to realize that it's not like you can't do it, because you suck at it or due to any other such reason. Instead it's because nobody would have succeeded with such a bad sleep hygiene and mental state in the first place.
You can still succeed, but you will either have to stop shooting yourself in the foot and get some decent sleep without stressing over it too much, or you need to improve your mental state first no matter how difficult it may be and only then attempt lucid dreaming again.
>>
>>29321157
i honestly think that LD and sleeping better are two sides of the same coin.
i need to go to sleep on time. i just keep staying up later without thinking. i feel like i'm passively living a shit lifestyle and having to force myself to get out of it
tonight's goal. bed at 11:30, no phone use
>>
>>29321212
Nigga just follow these steps:
>Go to bed when tired as fuck
>Focus on staying awake
>Think of shit you want to do in your dream
>Close your eyes when you start having auditory illusion
>Spin on yourself while in your dream to trick your brain in staying inside the dream instead of waking you up
>Do whatever you want, fly, fuck, run around, phase through wall, noclip through the ground, head wherever you want, imagine a girl sucking you off, whatever fancy you.
>If you wake up in the morning without anything, just head back to sleep, your brain will trigger another sleep and your dream should be vivid as fuck

You don't need some fancy ass guide for lucid dreaming. Keep that for astral projection.

First time on /x/ in a long time. I just want to drop a protip. If you're having trouble lucid dreaming perhaps try using ai dungeon. It's like a retarded story generator but really it's like a dream generator. You input some lines of text and it will generate a story around that. Sometimes it doesn't make sense, kinda like dreams, so you can go back and rewrite what it generated or just let it generate something new. I feel like if you used this everyday before bed it would put you in the proper mindset to lucid dream.

Hey is this normal?

Meditate into candle flame until vision blurs out until a meditive sleep state-but not asleep.
Kinda like eyes feel rolled back, kinda cross-eyed looking into third eye. Eyes open on their own, but my mind is in a dream state-like what my eyes see dont register.

Is this normal-sleep state dream with your eyes open??

I just had a lucid dream where I was in a school gym and I decided that when I opened this door in front of me, that it would lead to space. That worked, but when I tried to step out into space, I was getting pushed back and couldn't enter. What's up with that? I physically felt something hold me back, preventing me from floating in the space. Then I stepped back into the gym and tried to stay calm as to not leave the dream, but I woke up about 10 seconds later.

So I saw a psychic 2 weeks ago after browsing this board. I have always enjoyed esoteric history and the like, so I was interested. It was the reposts of the AstralProjection Anon and some others that drove me to seriousily consider the use of a pyschic.

I am what I consider a "normal" rationale guy. I am finishing post-grad this december and excercise and hang out with friends.

I was on guard during the psychic experience because I did not want to feel like I was "taken" or bought into new age bullshit. However, I know there is so much of history and biology that we are lied to about all the time and generally ridicule and mockery are used to surpress people's interest or pursuit of certain ideas or activities. If we did have some psychic powers, it makes sense they wouldn't want billions of people knowing that and mucking up the game they rigged.

Anyway, she knew things she shouldnt have and it wasn't like she was fishing with generalities and the like.

I then began to order esoteric texts, texts on hypnosis, and, as crazy as it is to admit, crystals. It made sense to me from a scientific point of view because every thing does have a resonance so using the crystals could potentially influence my own resonance. I'd read a little on vril, qi, and pranna.

So my bed is next to a 60 gallon fish tank i like to mediate next too. I am lying in the nude on top of my bed. I place an amethyst crystal catheral geode next to my bed and I placed a raw amethyst on my third I.

What happened that night I still can't explain. I manifested something. There was a light light mist essence/small cloud/thing that appeared next to my bed. It was pitch dark and here was this glowing white mist. I was not afraid of it and tried to communicate. I asked it what or who it was. It moved around a little from the right hand side of my bed to above it, but went back to the right hand side of my bed.
>>
>>29326280
Cont.

The door into my room is on the side of my bed. So I figured thats how it got in.

It hung out for for a while just floating next to the bed at like the 4-5 below the height of the mattress. I was lying down on my side and just staring right at it.

This was two nights ago. I was sober and I was awake. I tried last night, but my neighbors came over for drinks that night so I was little too drunk and don't think my mind could function in the same way.

I called the psychic to ask about it. She was supposed to get back to me but the mediation she was going on it ended up requiring a few more hours. I was supposed to call her but was late and missed her. I still have no idea what I saw but I saw something.

Can someone explain to me what I did/saw?
>>
>>29326241
Depends entirely to you.I'm having a much harder time focusing on making the dream fun in non-sexual ways because every time I go lucid, I tend to go into places/ect that just go straight to sexual valley
>>
>>29326241
people seem to achieve sexual things all the time, but it seems to be very hard to control since it inherently excites

i haven't been able to have even a normal sex dream. i have a very low libido but i still want to become a lucid coomer
