Have you noticed how electronic deviced never work properly in dreams? Things like computers and cellphones are always buggy as hell and get you nowhere. Is this just a coincidence or is there something deeper to this?
>>
Never had dream with electronics or black people
>>
>>28405785
So how do you explain the countless dreams I've had of playing games on the compooter after an extended period of playing some game?
>>
>It's an anon assumes the very particular qualities of his dreams apply to everyone episode
>>
>>28405804
this
>>
>>28405804
oddly enough
>>
>>28405804
bruh

now that you mention it. same here.
>>
>>28405804
Why would I dream of niggers? I like to relax in my dreams
>>
Yes. A very specific thing happens to my phone and I use it as a trigger now to know I’m in a dream and try to become lucid.
>>
>>28405785
>windows 95
there's your problem
>>
In my dreams they work as usual. Also books are never change their texts or clocks never show impossible time. That makes it pretty difficult for me to lucid dream.
>>
>>28405785
They never fucking work when I'm awake too
>>
>>28405785
My phone never works in dreams. I try to remember this so I can trigger a lucid dream. Mostly It doesn’t work and I spend my dream being infuriated with what seems to be some sort android knock-off that won’t display my contacts
>>
>>28405785
Yes, it's a common thing where I'll try to call someone but i can never get my phone to work. Could it be because technology is unnatural?
>>
>>28405785
>Have you noticed how electronic deviced never work properly in dreams? Things like computers and cellphones are always buggy as hell and get you nowhere. Is this just a coincidence or is there something deeper to this?
As a computer programmer from an early age, electronics always worked better in my dreams than irl because they weren't written like shit, they already include all the edge cases I personally would account for.
>>
>>28405804
I have, but only nightmares.
>>
>>28405785
For me it's guns. When faced by a big scary monster/serial killer/ferocious tiger/whatever in my dreams, I always have a gun, but it always jams, or the magazine won't stay in, or the trigger can't be moved, or I manage to fire but only water or nerf darts or harmless airsoft BBs come out.
>>
>>28405785
I get multidimensional internet and telepathic ai interfaces on the tech in my dreams.
>>
>>28405785
>Guns wont fire
>lightswitches dont work
>clocks unreadable
>cars drive like theyre on ice

Anything else?

That part of the brain to process this is not activated during the deep sleep of a dream my guy.

>>
>>28405804
Same. But I have had dreams where I'm trying to read and the words are gibberish
>>
>>28405785
It's a left brain/right brain thing, even Batman talked about this shit. If technology doesn't work as expected, it's a sign that you're in a dream. If you're in a dream, and you realize you're in a dream, that makes it a lucid dream. That means you're a GOD AMONG YOUR KNOWN UNIVERSE. Steal, rape, murder, do whatever craziest things you want, you'll just wake up and be okay anyway. Either that or your computer really is buggy and I'm sorry I landed you in jail, anon. :(
>>
>>28405804
What? I have dreams with black people often. In the last couple weeks I had one where I spoke to a black girl and another where I was in high school and had a black gym teacher.
>>
>>28410386
Yep
>>
>>28405785
I had a dream that I was taking a final exam for a programming class and accidentally fried the server hosting everyone's code in the middle of the test. Everything seemed to work fine from what I remember (except the server of course).

>>
>>28410386

i hate this stuff. usually enough to wake myself up
>>
>>28405804
I used to dream of black people when I lived in area with a lot of them. Not ever these days
>>
>>28412728
I used to get that one. Ineffective punches against people who used to beat me on a regular basis. Now that I don't have those people in my life I don't have stress dreams like that very often, more like once a year instead of every quarter.
>>
>>28407542
lol
>>
>>28405785
i think it is due to lack of ability to concentrate in dreams. dreams are filled with phantasms
>>
>>28412763
I usually find dark people in dreams involving negativity or the underworld. like negative black people

sometimes there are also good black people, but i'd say that it is 50% negative, if not more.
>>
>>28405785
Now that you mention it, I don't remember ever using an electronic device in a dream. I should check my old dream diary but I'm almost certain I never do
>>
>>28412828
oh I remember one now, only I remember seeing a chat message in a dream
>>
>>28405804
Same, except for black people
>>
>>28405785
Your post made me realize i dont think ive ever used or looked at a turned on screen in a dream ever....

Ever tried to work electronics deep into a hallucinogenic trip? I pulled my camera out of my pocket once and honest to god had no clue what it was. Like wtf is this bizarre little tablet with mysterious symbols all over
>>

martial arts is the only source of true confidence bro. machines will always break over a long enough timespan
>>
>>28410517
if you were god of your universe youd make yourself a thief and a rapist? are you black by any chance
>>
>Have you noticed how electronic deviced never work properly in dreams?
Yeah I notice that also. For example when Im in a library dream I can read books, but sitting at a computer is just staring at a blank screen and I start to lose awareness.
>>
>>28405832
Are you playing games or are you in the game?
>>
>>28412744
I wonder what's the psychological meaning behind this things
>>
>>28413509
Sat down at my computer during a trip and after who knows how long thinking how to turn it on I just walked away.
>>
>>28413487
apparently this is when the border between the dream world and the astral become blurred. if you can figure out how to continue moving you can slip out of the dream and into an astral projection.

they are single instance devices that use quantum entanglement as their source. we are told it's transistors but its bullshit so people don't uncover the secret science that really makes them run. It is too dangerous for the masses to know that information. But because of their quantum complexities, they can only work once in once instance of infospace. If it works in your dream, it is pulling it's quantum state from it's physical form or worse, another computer's physical form.

TLDR, if it works in your dream, a real life computer has to stop working and vice versa. only one can exists in all of reality - physical or virtual or dreamed or anything else.
>>
>>28413610
its also quite effective at attracting succubi

its literally a series of yes or no checkboxes. is it blue? yes. Is it green? no. is it yellow? no. Theres nothing mystical about it, read a fucking book
>>
>>28405804
Do you interact with many black people? Positive and negative feelings will be lessened in general if a part of the population isn't a major presence in your life.
>>
>>28413636
nah, that on or off stuff is bullshit. that is what they feed us because it is easy to understand so we use them at work. it's like if you want a chimp to do something complex, you don't try to make it understand what you know, that would be futile and probably dangerous. you just show it a banana and move its hand a couple times and give the banana once it can move its hands to do the task on it's own. its how chimps piloted spaceships. we didn't tell it how it worked, we just gave it a banana to hit a shiny button or two.
>>
>>28405785
Works fine on my machine ;)
>>
>>28405785
you also cant read in dreams
>>
>>28413691

its all made up, if it is so easy, go make one from scratch. like most of our knowledge, it is just made up stuff that can not be replicated, and no one tries to replicate it because we are just chimps and no one cares. they can make up whatever they want and most would believe it.

it runs on mystical power that is almost like magic

it runs on mystical crystals, al of it

nothing works properly in dreams. next time you're dreaming and you realise you're dreaming look at your hands and you'll see them distort and have extra fingers, stuff like that
>>
>>28413713
you can make one in fucking minecraft.
>>
>>28413729
the trick is to look at your hands, then look away, then look again. They wont look the same the second time and thats what tips you off. Its a totally reliable lucid dream trigger if you can get yourself in the habit of doing it many times a day
>>
>>28405804
I fucking hate those animals. Why would I dream of them? It’s my only escape from them lol
>>
>>28405804
only time i dream about black people is when they're trying to force themselves through my front door

as far as electronics, the only thing i've really fucked with are electric guitars. for some reason, i'm a fucking guitar whiz when i dream about playing but can't play worth a shit IRL

>>
>>28413760
i've done it at least once a day for years, any time i become self aware looking at my hands is the foolproof way to make sure im in a dream. i've never had to do that thing where you look away and look again, whenever im dreaming they just start distorting the first time i check them out
>>

>Grab gun and fire it at my enemy/intruder
>Nothing happens
>Get into pedantic argument with the intruder about how the gun did fire, and that they were dead now
>They eventually agree and leave

Many such cases
>>
>>28405785
It seems you're dreaming of Microsoft Windows 95. Try to dream up several more bars of ram, an SSD and an upgrade to windows 10.
>>
I've been having shooting dreams lately. Never really been into guns and never had shooting dreams before.
In a run down part of a city, with shitty rifles, just picking away at the other team. Civil war vibes but its more like WWI.
>>
>>28410336
That's why you always go for swords or lightsabers. They never failed me even in my worst nightmares.
>>
I usually spend all day on the computer, and often dream about doing the same mundane shit I did during the day. There's never any peripherals or screen though. It's like all of the information that would be on the screen is just injected straight into my eyes. Sometimes I feel like I might be typing, but I can never look down to see if there is a keyboard. I usually become lucid every time this happens because I know I'm supposed to be taking a break from the computer and sleeping, but I can't do anything about it.
These dreams can often be worse than nightmares because I'll wake up and feel like I never really slept. I'm just going straight to my computer and and repeating things all over again.
>>
>>28405785
I rarely see electronics at all in my dreams, and being a mobile developer, I'm surrounded by phones and all kinds of computers all day. One dream I do recall seeing a phone in, it was normal width but close to a foot long, and I'm not sure if it worked because I didn't try to use it.

>>28405804
I only recall one black person in a dream who was my boss (no clue how he got the position in real life or the dream). I do have some dreams with Asians, but most of the people in my dreams are family, friends, some coworkers, and classmates (least often given I haven't set foot in a classroom since graduation six years ago).
>>
bump
>>
>>28414300

I've had that too, sadly enough these dreams (far as I can remember) mainly comprised of repeatedly refreshing a page in hope of replies I was waiting for in real life. These never came in-dream, but one time I had a dream where I was on the phone with this guy and a week or more later in real life I connected with a guy whose voice was identical to this individual's, on the same conference calls and doing a TalkShoe podcast.

I think it might be related to the level of detail anything like - say, a word document - would provide inside a dream. As most of your brain is still in self-repair mode, it can't handle anything getting too specific.

I heard an interview with a lucid dreamer that was part of a sleep experiment a few weeks ago. He basically described that the best way to check whether you're dreaming or awake is to check for these little details. If the room you're inside while dreaming has an exit sign, you should check on said sign every few seconds - due to the inherent instability of the dream, the text on it may be upside-down, garbled, or spell something completely different from what it originally showed.
>>
>>28405785
light switches have never worked in my dreams
can't recall interacting with any other electrical devices though..
>>
>>28405804
Although I do dream of black/brown people, they're always women. My interactions with them are also often sexual

There are a few things that are never functional in my dreams. Clocks, calendars, phones, computers, mathematics, public transit and sports being the most significant ones.
>>
....wow....same

I have never had a dream that features people, is this normal?

>I think it might be related to the level of detail anything like - say, a word document - would provide inside a dream. As most of your brain is still in self-repair mode, it can't handle anything getting too specific.
I dream of complex things like books though. And music. Zero talent in real life but in my dreams I can compose complex classic music I can just remember for a few seconds when I wake. With the phone it’s ads popping up like you’ve got a virus. The most common tell I’m dreaming though is my hair. I have long waist length hair and I often dream I’m choking on thick ropes of it that are coiled in my stomach and I’m trying to pull it out through my mouth but it’s never ending.

you never had any close call someone caught CP on your PC dreams? shit, i've had a lot of them and I unironically don't even download CP on my computer

here are the types i usually have
>get on computer, computer freezes up, CP on the screen, can't even unplug it, somebody's comin' in my room!!!!
>sell my computer, buyer looks at funny pics folder of mine, but i forgot to delete the CP pics, ahhh, shit!!!!!
and the worst and weirdest of all
>go to CP dark web site that freezes my PC but there's nothing on it but the tortured souls of dead CP kids floating in blackness on the site, realizing i'm watching them then they haunt me in my dreams (although I'm still actually dreaming)
>>
>>28405785
Sysadmin here: I've not just dreamed about computers but more complex tasks. My most recent computer related dream was analysing SMTP headers of emails...
>>
>>28405785
I dreamed I was in high school again filming around on a smartphone and when my crush passed in front of the phone, the image got noisy and jammed and she didn't appear on the screen. Dreams that she appears in are very weird ever since she died.

>>28405785
What's more likely, that a box of plastic, metal, and crystal talks with everyone around the world and downloads video games and porn, or that it does none of those things?

So would you expect a computer to do all these things in the real world, or in a dream?
>>
citizens shouldnt have complained so much about phone/internet companies hidden charges if they wanted uninterupted service in their dreams

Anyone have those weird ones where you're in a plane that's flying very close to the buildings in the city, and you just watch as the pilot/plane is barely able to climb above the tops of buildings and nearly clipping buildings and wires with the wings?
