Even among the insanity.I ended up writing a lot about religion and God by hand, then transcribed it to my PC, but my computer deleted all of my text and shut down unprompted. I thought I was being attacked and screamed for the help since I had destroyed my phone prior to walking. I asked the police to take me anywhere I could be safe, they had spoken with me multiple times that day because a loved one kept calling wellness checks on me after I laid into them for teaching me the wrong message about faith.I ended up in a psych ward where I heard God comforting me, and was injected with haldol and given pills that didn’t subdue anything I was feeling. The nurses kept calling me “the light of the unit” because I would talk to other patients and calm them. One guy there was homeless and in a wheelchair. He asked me to help him and then he stood for the first time since I’d known him. I got pissed at him for fucking with my head in a psych ward.It was a spiritual awakening despite it all.The book bit specifically struck me because I wrote a children’s book this year about the power of love and light.
