Hi guys. I have a new laptop tjat i have yet to open but I've heard that they tend to come with bloatware. I'd like to remove as much of this preliminary material as possible-- i want a blank slate for a laptop before begin to put my own things on it. I just want what is absolutely necessary. Could anyone give me a basic rundown of how i can do this, or point me to an info source? I'm not very technology-inclined.
Thanks

What laptop did you get?
>>
Yeah so basically, these laptop manufacturers are giving you custom Windows 10 installs. You wanna overwrite their windows 10 by installing vanilla Windows 10. Just google "windows 10 media creation tool" and click on the official microsoft link, download their tool, and install it on your computer (overwrite the entire drive when prompted to do so)

At this point it would ask non-existing W10 users for a license key, but your device should already be registered with Microsoft thanks to your manufacturer, so you should be good to go.
