I've recently bought razer kraken x lite headphones and the earpads are too wide, making it so the headphones themselves are too far away from my ear and the sound becomes kinda echo-y. How could I fix it?

If you try to adjust the earcups through some diy means then you might cover the sound drivers. Your only option is to find another headphone with a better seal.
