Both sides have means and motive to lie about every aspect of the war, western media moreso because it's aimed at an audience half the world away that doesn't speak the language of the belligerents so they can just make shit up and retarded americans won't know the difference. It will probably be at least a decade before we get anything like an objective view of the conflict. Casualty numbers especially, both sides are going to inflate enemy casualties and downplay their own for propaganda purposes, and at this point it's likely no one actually knows due to the chaos and MIA/POW numbers.

The more I've watched perun the more I've noticed he rarely if ever talks about russia's virtues or ukraine's vices, whether politically or militarily, unless he absolutely has to, only the opposite. He's been silent as far as I can tell on this disastros offensive for 3 months. His analysis and presentation of data is excellent at times but given his obsession with logistics he's made no mention of the fact that in an artillery war the usa is hoping to increase its annual 155mm production from a base off 100k per year to about 250k per year by 2025 (insanely low). Or that in one single video ukraine pissed away 30 patriot missiles which is about 5ish% of usa entire output per year. Or that 18 months on from starting this war the west hasn't even remotely got close to increasing its military production output as he suggested they would in his first couple of videos, and they're still just palming off obsolete or unwanted gear and slowing down aid as the stockpiles start getting too low.
Basically I'm certain the perun is a western funded plant. from his ability to martial facts and produce quality convincing analysis he clearly isn't just some armchair military logistics enthusiast, fucking impossible.
He was running a random gaming channel before this war started. Now his analysis is being quoted by Western geopolitics think tanks. scratching my chin. He has also admitted some kind of ukrainian ancestry at some point which would explain some of why he finds it so hard to admit where and how the ukrainians are botching things (which they are at least as often if not more often than russia, especially in 2023).

tl:dr there are no unbiased sources left - EVERYONE is pushing either Russia evil and incompetent or Ukraine is western puppet and incompetent. some including perun seem better than others but your only chance is to find channels with decent analysis from either side and form your own opinions, if you have the time.

You can find info from then use your own damn logic/rationality to judge the validity and accuracy of the sources.
For example Jan 2023
https://www.navalnews.com/event-news/sna-2023/2023/01/lockheed-martin-showcases-patriot-integration-with-mk-41-vls/
>current production at 500, increase to 550 by end of year.
https://www.defensenews.com/land/2018/07/11/lockheed-to-double-patriot-missile-production-as-orders-explode/
From 2018. Lockheed says they plan to 2x output up to 500 per year.
Were they underplaying their production this whole time and secretly producing more? I doubt they even produced 400 per year but that's conjecture. 500 is reasonable to believe. So it takes 30 (+5% annual production) to parry one attack (unsuccessfully). Russia is launching multiple missiles and drones per day.
So what does annual missile production need to be? At 30k (60x production lol) they might riposte approx 1000 attacks per year.

You can do similar googling and math for 155mm shell production, but it's interesting to note that during desert storm 66k shells were fired in THE ENTIRE CONFLICT and only 35k in 2003 Iraq invasion.
https://www.marinecorpstimes.com/news/your-marine-corps/2018/02/06/these-marines-in-syria-fired-more-artillery-than-any-battalion-since-vietnam/
Meanwhile Ukraine is spunking 2-3k per day and between 6-10k per day during this offensive (their own figures), russians doing similar numbers.

The New Atlas on yt does a lot of this kind of analysis with exclusively pro western sources and is great on the ukraine war but he is absolutely a Russia and China asskisser and says some absurd things about them, e.g. the social credit system is overblown, the chinese government cares about their people lel

Best policy is to realise there are no heroes, no celebrities, just an interplay of information, interests and biases.
>>
>>5248187
From that marinecorps article:
>“In five months they fired 35,000 artillery rounds on ISIS targets, killing ISIS fighters by the dozens,”
35,000 rounds to kill a few DOZEN.
I had to look up the cost of an artillery shell and one source said theyre around $1000 a piece (but get up to $60k), so that was $35,000,000 in ammo to kill just a few dozen guys. wtf

Welcome to the military industrial complex, your tax dollars at work. War is incredibly profitable for countries that supply arms and munitions to the belligerents, the US has been doing it for over a century because it works so well. Middle eastern forever wars aren't enough though, NATO wants to prop up Ukraine and keep the conflict going as long as possible to weaken their competition and make tons of money for arms makers. Only at the cost of a few hundred thousand young conscripted men, what a deal.
>>
>>5247877
EU won't produce shit numbskull, they've spent the last 30 years reducing their heavy industry and manufacturing base as well as knowledge and educational base, they won't revert to manufacturing in the middle of an energy and inflation crisis.

Ironically perun's "all bling no basics" video could easily, it turns out, have been made about the entire west including the USA, not so much Russia. But will he admit that? The last bastion of manufacturing in the EU was germany and they're now in a savage recession as they deinduatrialise because the US cut off their gas to spite the ruskies. 18 fucking months and they haven't even started to build the factories they need to produce this equipment or ammunition, meanwhile Russia has been spinning up existing but dormant factories for tanks, artillery and artillery ammo, and other production lines for the same 18 months.

When this offensive fails in the next few weeks you will see the EU doing its best to beg out of this mess and its only the UK and US influence keeping it going. You may sooner than you think see zelensky have a "car accident" or "fall out of a window" and be replaced by someone who will negotiate with the ruskies because the EU needs this over asap.
French senate elections in September 2023 will be a bellwether.
US presidential election and UK general election in 2024 and this war will be out of the way by then (unless it gets much worse first)
>>5248365
>$1000 a piece
Insane right? How much you think Ivan is paying per shell. $50? Maybe even $10 (higher production volume, cheaper wages, cheaper raw materials, cheaper land, more trained engineers/specialists instead of millions of gender studies trannies and welfare kweens etc.) the high cost is because annual production is absurdly low, around 100k. There are economies of scale. Who knows what the number is but expanding existing production 10x could bring the cost down proportionately, but it'll take years to get anywhere near that level.

He fights back against natos expansionism. He keeps his buffer between the west and crime and keeps control over sevastopol and russian black sea domination, which the US desperately wants to take from Russia.
All that needed to happen was nato not topple the democratically elected ukrainean president in 2014, or keep to the minsk agreement they signed with Russia which merkel recently admitted was just a ruse to distract russia whilst they armed Ukraine. Or they could have let zelensky keep to his election mandate as the peace candidate and sign the istanbul agreement pledging that ukraine will never join nato, which he was going to until boris popped over to remind him what he was actually chosen for which is to be a neocon stooge

Retard, men and women fighting to protect their country is admirable and something that I deeply admire in Ukraine, it's also the reason I want them to win this, but don't come any closer to proposing that pregnant woman fighting is not some massive idiotic thing.
1 - A pregnant woman has more than her life to care for, she's caring a fucking baby in her belly, her first priority as a mother is to avoid any risks to her future offspring.
2 - The military should just slap any pregnant woman seeking enlistment on the face and remind them of their duty as a mother first and foremost.
Sure it would be so much easier if russians grew some brain cells and left Ukraine be in its rightful territory, that I can agree with, unfortunately russians are retards.

>Russia having more trained engineers/specialists
>$10-$50 per shell
Why do you fucks always do this? Start with a semi-reasonable take pointing out some flaw in the West or Western media, then go full retard with shit like this. Is it really necessary to be this stupid/delusional in order to have these opinions?

yes, when all was lost, the ghost of kiev appeared suddenly out of the fog swooping on the russian tanks, taking them out one by one in a fierce battle where no punch was spared, at the end the unknown hero's plane was hit by the last shell of the last dying russki tank and ghost of kiev was seen going down a chasm like it was going to crash, but on the next scene it soared gloriously, and disappeared for the glory of all ukraine

Are these incendiary 30mm rounds?

Why such a response? I was only adding context to your post, lest it might lead to misleading conclusions, my intent was not to mock you in any way if that's what you thought.

Russia will be locked in a vicious forever war until it is taken apart by infighting from various factions who are dissatisfied with putin. We already saw this nearly happen with prigozhin, and now that he's out of the picture more people will come out of the woodwork. Just because you don't hear from strelkov anymore doesn't mean he does not have support. Wagner does not exist anymore as a fighting force. And now that Azerbaijan is attacking russias key ally Armenia, they won't be able to, or be unwilling to intervene in it.
Russian society is generally apathetic, or tired of this war. They want it to end.

If I had to guess, I reckon it's around 600 USD per 152mm shell in russia vs 5000 for an analogous 155mm shell in the us.
Mercouris said this, but I don't know where he's taking it from. I reckon it's cheaper for the us shells, but not by much. Brian berletic went into detail in his latest videos about all the unaddressed problems in western shell production that have likely contributed to the lack of production expansion.

>Inshallah soon my brother.
Shut up fag. You're neither genuinely religious or edgy. You are also clearly ignorant to the fact that the Abrams handled that ammo cook-off better than any Russian tank could.

Russian Lancet suicide drone narrowly misses and hits under the cockpit of a modernized Ukrainian Mig-29 at Dolgintsevo Air Base, Dnipropetrovsk, 70km from the nearest Russian lines (previously declared range for the lancet is 40km). A Russian recon drone observes from above.

The BMD-4 carries a 100mm gun slaved to a rapid firing 30m autocannon that can fire high-explosive rounds (with tracer or incendiary effect if issued, no idea if that's what we see).

Does this new lancet type have a sattelite communications suite to allow it to travel beyond visual range? I would believe it does
Shame about the miss though. There was another jet parked right next to it. God knows why they didn't send another 3 to finish the job
A sneak attack is only good once. Now ukraine will most likely remove the planes

Ukrainians attack a position, might take losses (can't tell because the pictures of burning equipment could be positioned anywhere, but trust me bro, they are there) and then the Russians film their own corpse pile in front of their own trench (recognizable from the immense amount of garbage lying around) with some dead Ukrainians lying between them - all of which are lying there for at least a few days, probably longer.

Why are the Russians like that?

For sure. Walking into positions taken by the enemy without knowing is a tale as old as time.
I remember some German truck drivers that got lost from their convoy during night driving on the eastern front but spotted some trucks again and followed them. When the convoy reached their destination it turned out to be Soviet trucks and they all got taken as prisoners.

FPV drone vs go-fast? Now this is getting ridiculous.
Is there something they'r enot going to try and attack with FPV drones?

The possibilities are endless man.
Here they're used against Ukrainian surveillance equipment.

>Is there something they'r enot going to try and attack with FPV drones?
guess not, even little stuff can add up over time, and drones are cheap to make, so I guess everything is fair game.

I hope they've been training this entire war so I don't have to see F-16's record trashed by rushed training. Just send "trainers" already.
