>>3867168I heard it's extremely easy, there's programs that you can download that lets you build your own simple scenes with already done assets and shit, which you can then export to a gif or whatever. I tried it a couple of years ago but can't remember the name, probably even easier now though

>>3868133I think he meant from scratch, not premade assets.From my own experience, pixel art is harder than what people think, but is easier too learn with practice than what you think after trying it for the first time.My biggest challenge was learning how surfaces react to light, and how to give the surface the texture you want based on that. These techniques can be found with traditional painting as well.
