>>2210781 how can I do it on photoshop?
>>2210781just tried it in GIMP idk which one is better tho
>>2210835 is better in my opinion, less noise/ artifacts on the left sidei'm also surprised how well gimp handles more complex images
man, I wish it was easier to choose the palette on gimp rather than just automatically do it
Here's an attempt
Dithered version of an Asuka one I was using. Stole the logo for >>2211395
What exactly do I need to do in Gimp to achieve this?
>>2211440I use Image > Mode > Indexed
Making these is fun!
I just realized the last 2 I posted were 1-bit. Oops!
no changes, just 2 bit
auto-levelled first, gives it more contrast and the grey is now blue, still 2 bit
PaintNET just lets you save in 2-bit. It's neat.
>>2212916Effects / Color / Quantize lets you have more control over the number of colours as well.
>>2212909what is auto-level?
can someone add 2 bit depth to this? T.I.A
I'd be glad if anybody could lend me a hand and let me know how can I make these pictures look better. GIMP btw!
>>2214810for one get rid of lolis in your PC
>>2214810for two create custom palette to control colors
>>2214199hello anon, what color background do you want
>>2214873i don't know anon, i think the original color is fine but if it doesn't work out i'd love to see what you come up with. :)
>>2214874same anon here, didn't realize that it was actually a jpeg. tried out pngquant since i have no idea how to do it with gimp and here's what came out of it
>>2214874disregard >>2214882 i just realized that 2 bit meant 4 colors and not 2
>>2214883this looks seriously cool, thanks anon. is it hard to do with gimp? t. someone who has 0 experience with it
>>2214884No problem anon. I used pngquant to make it as I can't get the hang of gimp
>>2214884Same anon here don't mind >>2215009 I figured it out and it's fairly easy. Just open up the image you want to process in gimp and then press "Image" in the menu bar and select "mode" and then "indexed". Then choose generate optimum color palette and set it to 4 for 2-bit and then press generate.
Not anime but I liked
>>2215081great wallpaper anon
>>2214882what series is she from? looks good thanks for the pape
did some on a whim and I like how they turned out 1/3
Tried doing it in photoshop, but not sure how many colors to use. This one is 16 colors, and any less just destroys the darks like an old NES game. Are there more effects I need to apply to get that old PC98 game feel?
>>2215797Your dithered Dracula is not dithered enough.
Tried it out a little bit
>>2216020Alternate after further experimentation
this is cool im gonna make more of these
>>2214883>2 bit meant 4 colors and not 2noted
