>>2154065Manga named Ajin
HxH Chapter pages look so good sometimes
serious question: why are some mangaka (murata, miura) so much better than the overwhelming majority of other mangaka? (or at least why is the standard quality of their work higher than that of others.) are the former just gifted, do they work longer and harder than others? do they have more assistants or something? what's the distinction to be made here?
>>2155398Natural talent, style, willingness to put in the effort, genre of work, and time allotted.A lot of things effect work and isn't always fair to compare mangaka directly to each other. For example just because someone is drawing 4koma or a gag-strip in a simplified style doesn't mean they are a bad artist, it just doesn't make sense for them to draw hyper-detailed art it would just clutter their strip. Likewise artists who are in Jump or some-other weekly serialized magazines may end up drawing with no background or simplify their art in an effort to meet deadlines. Of course natural talent is a big part, but the type of manga and it's production is important to keep in mind.
Manga is [Usogui]https://files.catbox.moe/v9zqq0.jpghttps://files.catbox.moe/dfu0gx.jpghttps://files.catbox.moe/h4toov.jpghttps://files.catbox.moe/5bwebt.jpghttps://files.catbox.moe/dxrzm9.jpghttps://files.catbox.moe/7w1q1m.jpghttps://files.catbox.moe/ytux38.jpghttps://files.catbox.moe/lu6adh.jpg
>>2155398>>2155752One other major reason: the bigger the manga-ka and the more popular the manga, the more assistants he is likely to have who do the bulk of the grunt work.So most manga-ka might do the storyboarding and general sketches and art but the assistants will do all the colouring, shading and adding in the details. Big manga, like Berserk, One Piece, etc... often have fairly big teams behind them so that manga-ka can meet their weekly deadlines.

>>2165057Yes. Read this bullet points in this article (a translation of an interview with Kentaro Miura in Japanese) and it'll bring you up to speed on the latest.https://mangahelpers.com/forum/threads/young-animal-hakusensha.2996691/page-3#post-5095551Still no real hope of Berserk being finished anytime soon.
>>2164354>HomunculusFinally a man of culture
>>2164354>>2165128I suggest also Pluto. Any suggestions for manga with the same adult/psychological/realistic science fiction vibe ?
>>2165178Blame and Biomega.
>>2165178Dragon Head and Yamikin Ushijima-kun the last one doesn't have science fiction but is pretty good.

Traced art the thread. Convert to lineart in clip paint most prolific mangaka in the world. Traced models and some weeb eyes and retards eat it up like they actually drew anything.
Hiroaki Samura is my favorite manga artist
>>2150056whats the name of it?
>>2150056sry didnt even see the text underneath it lol, thanks
>>2150057"nederland" as a country doesnt exist, only centuries later after it was a monarchy it was called netherlands. before that it was a collection of independent states/cities called the 12 united provinces. the whole piece/lot of land to the east near the sea was called the low/nether lands as a whole, later it became the formal name of the country that formed there, but it was named like that far later. each state had autonomy, you can from Amsterdam or from Utrech within the republic, but you couldnt come from the "netherlands", it didndt exist then as a name, so the roadsign in the first manga book with "nederland" as direction is kinda unrealistic/impossible.
>>2166646nvm Niederland is kinda possible if they just call the area like that.
thread turned out pretty great. glad i bookmarked it 6 months ago.
>>2155169do a flip
Got a few as well. No Umineko so far, therefore...
Strictly speaking no manga but I still though that it would fit in here. Va11 Hall-a
>>2168930What the actual fuck is going on with the glass on the left? Is this supposed to be an optical illusion?
