Otherwise, we're confirmed to be through.

>>
>>695142
How is /toy/'s play compared to /lit/? I'd suspect we won over /fit/ by keeping them on the defensive since they suck there, but I only caught the tail-end of the match. From the little knowledge I have of /toy/ and /lit/ I can't say who would stand as the winner in that matchup, but I'd suspect that we have less than a 50/50 against /lit/. If we don't luck out and /lit/ suffer from retard patch I guess.
>>
By the way, why were the other threads deleted?
>>
>>695157
Mods don't like fun threads, idk.

>>
>>695134
We were extremely good early on and were very unlucky not to go up 3-0 or higher. After /fit/ made their very good changes, we struggled a lot more, but that's strictly because we changed very little.

I feel for /fit/. They were good today and were robbed like crazy in their first match.

I mean >>695142 looks promising. I think it's quite likely that /toy/ loses to /lit/ and even if they don't, then that just means that our strategy works well against /lit/ since we and /toy/ played very similarly. A /toy/ win and a /vst/ loss doesn't look that likely in any case.

I don't think I've ever seen hooligans in anything like GOG or similar. Just have to have a disc and bang your head on your keyboard until some random solution makes it work.
>>
>>695525
Ah, then they are probably winning, unless /fit/ has learned from their prior mistakes. It's annoying that we only have /fit/ to base /lit/ off of, because /fit/ were running some extreme retard strats, so discerning /lit/'s strong and weak points is extremely hard.
>>
>>696257
I don't know, /fit/ did vastly better against us than against /lit/, and we drew with /toy/, equally /lit/ didn't beat /toy/ by that much.
So I think there is actually quite a good chance of a draw in either game, which would put us through.
>>
please change Kane's goalhorn to Act on Instinct or make that his hattrick horn, thank you
>>
>>697361
his hattrick is https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x1ub0L-GFag which i dont think is changing any time soon
>>
>>697466
Then make Act on Instinct his regular goalhorn? Nuclear Gandhi has his own goalhorn, Wololo co-opts the enemy team's goalhorn then follows up with the regular one. 99% uses the regular one too.
>>
>>697819
Yeah I can agree with that, but I guess it’s up to management in the end
>>
>>698220
WHEN THE WORK RESULT WAS GOOD also has his own goalhorn, but that's for if management pulls a meme and makes him a striker for some reason, or the off-chance he actually scores a goal alone. The latter will never happen because Silent Orchestra is not a medal nor a CF/SS
>>
>>698220
Music and roster are locked in until the end of the cup, we'll get the chance to shake things up before Autumn.

>>698409
Not never, just very unlikely, which is what is going to make blowing everyone's ears out even more funny when it finally does happen.
>>
>>698445
I still say we should make Silent Orchestra a bronze medal and make him a CMF or other role with goalmaking chances and opportunities. I don't like 99% being a silver. A roster revamp would be nice alongside the music changes.
>>
>>698478
Roster revamps are based on what the board vote, the top 4 voted for candidates got the medal status. If the board decide in the future to change the medal status then we will.

For the time being however, music/roster stays as it is.

Greetings lads.

So, we've had a few complaints regarding our GK >No 110% speed at it's model, I personally see what people mean by you have no idea what's happening when they are involved in a play, so we may need to look at tweaking it slightly, but I want to know what you all think. We have options and I have a few ideas;

We make the Pyramid slightly more transparent model.
An idea was we make the model a Pharoah with a smaller Pyramid behind him.

But I'm open to ideas. The roster won't change until the next roster poll but I'm looking at implementing a mid-cup change. What do you all think?
>>
>>706208
> make the model a Pharoah with a smaller Pyramid behind him.
That doesn’t sound bad
>>
>>706208
>have no idea what's happening when they are involved in a play
That was the whole point of the pyramid, wasn't it?
>>
>>706240
As it turns out, the people in charge don't like it when you can't see what's going on. It's a fun gimmick, but I'm okay with changing it to something more reasonable now.
>>
>>706240
I agree, that was the whole gimmick of it, to obstruct the goal.

That's why I wanted to run all this by the board, if there's no ruling saying we HAVE to then we don't have to. I just want the board's opinion on it.
>>
>>706246
Don't change it. It's great.
>>
>>706246
i just want to see sandro actually playing as the GK again
>>
>>706246
I’ve never really liked massive GKs either, I wouldn’t mind it being changed.
>>
>>706246
I mean it is a gimmick, but I don't quite know if I like it. It certainly gets suspenseful if there is a shot on goal, but not in a good way.

It's not one of the really dangerous teams, but enough for a good game and a chance to advance.

The joke is that Pharoh has a game speed slider, but it's a little bit buggy. 10-90% work as intended, but 100% runs the game as fast as your computer is physically capable of doing, and even then building the pyramids takes so fucking long that people wish that there was a 110% option.

Aye, I can do. Any idea? I can replace it completely but fire me some ideas. Alternatively, I can change the opacity of it.
>>
>>708002
Might be a bit tricky, but I think one of those old fashioned maps of the world would look really good as the pitch, particularly with the giant chess pieces looming over it.
>>
>>708011
So the pitch texture is separate from the rest of the stadium. The chess board is the base and wood texture sits on top of that.

Good day a/vst/ists,

Tonight we attempt to get closer to the promised land, things from here on out are dangerous and unpredictable, one slip up and we are out.

I have been to the barracks and the team is once again ready to show the rest of the cup what it means to be a fucking in/vst/or!

So once more, make your voices heard, fly your colours and make the opposition tremble;
We're not here to take part, we're here to take over.

Good luck today.

>>
>>719183
The GSSBB format is very rarely used, and almost always for memevetationals or friendlies shenanigans.

As it stands, it's looking like the roster shakeup poll is going to be handled in 2 phases: first, all current players will be placed through a keep/kick poll, and if any players are kicked, the floor will be opened for new suggestions, which will then be made into a second poll to fill the open slot(s). Medal shakeups have not been discussed in the war room as of yet, but I'll make sure it gets brought up.

Note that this is all currently speculative and subject to change, nothing is final until the poll goes live, which will likely be in the lead-up to the Autumn Friendlies.
>>
>>719225
i see, i dont really know much about PES itself but ill be here to cheer us on and vote
>>
>>719229
To be brief, medals are a shorthand for player stats. Golds have overall stats of 99, silvers 88, bronze 82, and all else 77. The normal format for the cup is 2 golds, 2 silvers and 0 bronze, or GGSS format. The only hard rule regarding usage of medals is that GKs are not allowed to be medal players, but the norm is to use the team's medals as the forward players. This is in no small part why cup games tend to score higher than IRL soccer: the offensive players are just plain better than the defenders.
>>
>>719248
makes sense, so our current medals are gandhi kane wololo and 99% chance? i feel like 99% chance has his name actually 99% chance to choke

Yeah, nuCOM's hit chances are... odd. 99 in particular seems to be an extra cursed number, and the player has a long history in the /vg/ league of being an absolute shitter. I still say we should give him a Chryssalid model and see if that helps.

Good morning a/vst/ists,

As the dust settles on an incredible cup, we salute the winners [s4s] and congratulate them on an excellent cup run.

On the /vst/ front we now look ahead towards the next campaign and with that means the potential to bring in some new recruits.

The new roster poll will work as follows;

We will be running a "Keep/Kick" option where you advise if you want a player Kept or Kicked from the roster. We will only be removing the TOP THREE voted out players, because we don't have the man power to be creating an entirely brand new team after every cup.

https://forms.gle/Q2U5ehj1YyB5EVKU8

The poll will remain open until next week, afterwards we will open another poll for replacement (if at all). We will be doing the same for music (anthems/horns) eventually, but let's get the roster sorted first.
>>
>>728484
Voted.

It's no major change, but having the team logo on a disc under the full-body models in the way some other teams do would make the game easier to read.

I can send over model stuff and folk can just edit the texture to add wee things in but the disc is an easy solution.

I'm getting myself a 4CC stuff and need an advice.
What would be good as background behind logo?
Plain black seems optimal, but feels empty.
>>
>>731429
Cut the logo in two to use on the back? Or you could use a football, or something representing your favorite player. It's your flask, do whatever you want.

>>
>>732470
I didn't use an actual texture, just a blank white material and a pitch black material.
Is there a way to replace the textures with specific colors? If not I could just make a 2x2 black and white texture and resend the model but that would be kinda stupid lmao

Models are as obtuse and esoteric as the jewmagic lore, fitting.
>>

For PES you need a texture file to be associated with the model.

Good morning troops,

The poll is now closed for the Keep/Kick list going into Autumn, essentially.....everyone stays exactly where they are. There was no majority of "Kick" for any player, so the team stays the same.

Meanwhile I am currently looking to update aesthetics of the team and begin tactical planning.

I think that some might work if you put a logo on them. Ghandi, Boxes, Panzer and orchestra have enough space to get a logo on and be readable, but Pylon and Zerg don't have that many flat surfaces, and Arthas is simply visually cluttered. I suppose you could change his faction colours to be blue with a red stripe through it or something. Simplest would be the disc idea though.

Attention A/vst/ists, this is your Propaganda Officer speaking! With the roster poll completed and the Autumn campaign season looking to begin in October, we will now take the opportunity to conduct our music poll! For the next 48-72 hours, we will be accepting submissions for the Anthem, Goalhorn, Victory Anthem, and Kane's hat trick horn. When submitting your suggestions, please adhere to the following format:

>Anthem/Goalhorn/Victory/Kane: Title - Link

At the conclusion of the submissions phase, all suggestions will be placed into their appropriate slots in the poll alongside the current song in each category, and a vote shall be held to determine our music selection come Autumn.

Kane Goalhorn: Act on Instinct https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n4AUY-v1nsE
if you dont like both golds having unique goalhorns, do the thing others do with the first goalhorn being the normal one, then beyond that being unique except for gandhi, that should always be tunak when he scores
>>
>>746138
Kane's horn is currently set to start playing when he makes a hat trick (3 goals), but I can pass on the proposal to move it to the brace (2).
>>
>>746229
oh i thought that was his hat trick exclusive goalhorn, not his only unique
>>
>>745799
I second what >>746138 said about Kane's Goalhorn being Act on Instinct. Keep his second Goalhorn as No Mercy, though I'm not sure when it should play (brace or hat-trick).
So it's either
>Kane scores once, plays default goalhorn
>Kane scores the second consecutive time, plays Act on Instinct
>Kane scores the third consecutive time, plays No Mercy
or
>Kane scores once, plays Act on Instinct
>Kane scores the second consecutive time, plays Act on Instinct (or No Mercy)
>Kane scores the third consecutive time, plays No Mercy
>>
>>746229
>>746253
>>746300
How about a compromise then?
Act on Instinct can be used when Kane scores (so long as it wasn't the first goal) and No Mercy can still remain the hat trick horn
That way there's no need to choose one over the other and the unique horn can still be played over the default in the case a single goal happens after the first (by someone else)

i have a suggestion, Age of Mythology main theme, combined with battle theme (the best one) and victory theme as victory anthem:
https://files.catbox.moe/7mkrm2.mp3
>>
>>746322
I can accept that. I just want Silent Orchestra to be a bit further upfield so he has more goal-making opportunities despite not being a medal. I also voted for 99% to be ditched entirely and have Silent Orchestra be a medal instead, though that would somewhat cheapen the special moment when he does score. Problem is that if he isn't upfield and given chances to score while not being a medal, that goal potential is virtually nonexistent.
>>
>>746342
Conversely though, you know perfectly well that there are few things out there that are more fitting than having it be an Orchestrator CMF. Plus, it doesn't get much sweeter than having a rare player with a rare goal horn score when least expected, and you know that's going to happen one day.

Anthem: C&C Prepare for Battle (Remix) - https://youtu.be/AToYv8crw4A?t=86 (https://files.catbox.moe/epn887.mp3)
>>746342
I'm not the manager but fortunately for you, I believe SO will be changed to a B2B in Autumn which should provide a lot more goal scoring opportunities.
>>
>>746368
B2B? What's that?

>>746366
Yes, that's the way forward if he can't be a medal
>>
>>746342
Tall/Wide scored in the friendlies....
>>
>>746499
Box to Box, it's essentially a playstyle that makes the AI do forward runs when on possession (similar to a Hole Player) but also make runs all the way back to defend when losing the ball.
Previously SO was an Orchestrator (how fitting) which made him stay behind in the attack more often in order to collect passes & setup long balls to the strikers.
>>
>>746528
Even though Orchestrator fits him the most, he needs to be Box-To-Box to get the best chances to score. A shame.
>>
>>746253
>>746300
>>746322
Adding AoI as a brace and keeping No Mercy for hat tricks could probably work, I'll make sure that gets into the poll. Tying Kane's horns to consecutive goals is theoretically doable, but the catch to that is that horns are manually played by the rigger, so having horns for unique circumstances like that carries a significantly greater risk of Sou having a moment. I'm also just personally leery of going too wild with alt-horns, but I'm not the decision-maker here.

>>746323
We swapped from 3 to 2 going into the worlds knockouts, so if we swap to 1 for groups, we could keep the 2 no problem.

Honestly, though, I don't get why everyone hates 3. 1 and 2 are just a bit too mushy for my taste, 3's arrangement makes it a lot easier to keep track of what each instrument is doing.

>>746342
>>746366
>>746368
(et al)

The World Cup patch was noted for being particularly shit in regards to the midfield, so expect improvements there come Autumn. SO getting 99's medal was actually something the War Room was expecting to happen, but personally I'm glad it didn't: I'd rather lean towards continuing to build the menace than risk overusing the gimmick. Remember that in a standard cup, the top 4 teams only play 7 games, and most of those don't go past 4 goals per team. I'm not in the tactics division, but I'd put SO down for somewhere in the region of 1 goal every 1-2 years at current settings, and I get that that's going to feel intolerably long to you LobCorpers, but just imagine the payoff.

Anyway, let me get the submissions sorted, so Pilky can just grab and go.

Are they? On this and the last patch, I've seen FBs be much more willing to try their luck than Orchestrators. They still pale in comparison to even B2B CMFs, but with how quirky the AI currently is I really don't think it's out of the question at all.
