Any recommended spots for me to move into over in the area? I just started. I look around the map and to the east it seems like a bunch of rocky spots, west seems seem to be marsh? rivers and meadows which seem nice, then the sea access
If you vassalize your family members will their roads connect with other family members for interdomain trade?
Since my lordship has a high quality lead in its land, can i buy a mine there with my village and mine lead?
>>632474for your first settlement, you should aim for 1 source of rock, a decent sized patch of trees, then possibly some fruit or nut trees for quick money. having decent land around your first hamlet is nice since you can later settle those areas and connect your borders. even further down the line, you can upgrade a hamlet to a village then a town, or a hamlet to a lordship and vassalize the surrounding hamlets. be careful to stay within the area noted in pic related>>632481no, vassalizing your family doesn't affect trade
>>632493wait, does this pic not upload?
Anyone have a tutorial for the game thats not in russian or french?
>>632515There's not really a tutorial.

Something is fucky on the market i swear. I barely sell shit anymore. I have some of highest quality and cheapest catapults and theyve been up for 2 weeks. They arent selling, but it tells me there is 5 or 6 sold a day. Makes no sense. Feels like ive been shadowbanned
what does connecting a road from one settlement to another do?
>>632552theres some RNG involved as much as i understand, it randomizes the price and quality somehow. weird thing is when i put a thing for sale for a very high price and then another sell offer of the same thing for the lowest price, it tends to sell the higher price sell offer faster because of some unknown kikery. i guess the invisible jew doesnt like small profit margins. >>632556it buys the missing resources from your neighbors when building stuff or doing automatic actions, it keeps money circulating between neighbor domains which is good
>>632566I think it does the highest quality because most people probably just push the buy button and then use the the quality slider and quantity. But that type of buy always brings up the highest quality of good when you do it that way.My thing is, i cant sell anything other than veggies and pies really. Barely sell armory stuff, the catapult stuff makes no sense to me. Says their are only 15 on the market and i have 3 of them
Wut? Why is there a red esclamation point? Also, why 8 hours for an hamlet?
just travelled 14 hours for nothing. it's going to take until the 13th of june before i can liquidate my starting hamlet. riptime to take the 20 hour trip back

>>632751Lettuces, garlic, beans, pretty much this. I just automate selling. They're low quality though. I though people just want the cheapest thing when buying demands. And I just started like a week ago into veggies. You say you need high quality stuff to sell well?
Please stop discussing vegetables. I don't want more supply in the market

>>632359Ancient Greeks used bees as an heraldic animal too. But they were pretty big homosexuals too, hmm.
>>633298Strength usually comes from individual players and individual domains. The largest single domain we have is lordship of wojakia at 5.5k, and behind that the towns of shitterton and new sneeds at 3.3k each. For comparison Viken, the capital of nordboar, has 16k people, and amber has several 10k+ domains. having lots of smaller players isn't going to do anything if high quality knights show up on your door.
>>633311Having big domains early isn't going to prevent factions with more players from growing to the same size per player a bit later, and then being ze strongest

>>633471Plant whatever fruit suits your climate and plop them on a meadow/scrubland or next to them so you can put hives there as well. Though hives need 4 distance between them.
>>633446pastebin would be good, just dont post it in op. >>633471limestone into lime is decent, mostly sell to the invisible jew but have few 10 ton sell offers active because people sometimes buy it few tons at a time. when selling to xxxxjew do it rarely, sell 100k at once. its worth mentioning that dont make limekiln too far from market, it can make it multiple times slower when its far away. I know people have massive fields of olive trees in the norf, decided to try that also but on small scale, soon I'll know how good that is. I assume fruit trees will be worthless in winter but armouries work good with low temps, I suggest having neighbor domain to lordship that smelts iron so the lordship can buy iron directly for making armour and weapons.
>>633473So I need a plougher to plant them and a fruit growers to get the fruits. It will be in a week so I can think about this later.>>633474Lordship can't into honey. It's a pain in the ass.
>>633481I use a farmer for both right now as I cant spare more units for collecting actions. good quality manure and medium quality meadows gives me ~50% quality tree plants. also fruit trees on meadows gives bonus to gathering I think
>>633471fruit growers for planting orchards
>>633481no, you use a plougher to plough the orchard, planting fruit trees (and some crops like potatoes, beets, ect) uses the plantation skill, which farmers are shit at, use a fruit grower to plant and sow those crops. You can also use fruitgrowers to plow the orchards instead of investing in expensive ploughman straight away.
>>633481Fruit grower with enough tools works for making orchards fine unless you have some high quality plains.
>>633449You can farm wheat and make bread. You can also forge weapons and armor and breed horses. Also many industries can be worked in a lordship.
>>633481The Ploughman is most important, you can have a shitty fruit grower plating low quality fruit and still get a high quality trees if the ploughing is good.I've gotten 90%+ Orchards with the bonus from yesterday. Also remember that good fruit is expensive at the moment, you'll need a few thousand. Don't focus on that until you get something else going
Buy saddle horses. seriously.A good saddle horse costs 500g and it makes you go fast. What is the difference between a lord and a peasant? yes, the horse. If you don't want to look like a dirty peasant, buy a horse. now.
>>633511This. I bought a horse just yesterday and have already received 3 marriage proposals from neighboring lords.
>>633511a good saddle horse casts 100 gold, theres not really any low quality horses on the market
>he isn't selling tomatoes
I made carpenters/roofers/bricklayers teams with a ratio of one of each. Now theres the problem that when spamming streets and houses the bricklayers are kind of useless because they seem to fuck with the construction quality. maybe I should just retrain them and leave one or two for building forges or something that actually require lots of masonry.
bros I'm struggling a bit with horse training. I have 78% quality horses but I think I hit a ceiling of how high I can breed them. I have medium quality meadows but a quite shitty stable. I have some understanding how building stuff for quality works, but I struggle with calculating what exactly I should to increase the building quality of stables, I don't have the required autism for it. can anyone help me with this?
>>633576high quality base makes high quality product. Get better meadows, better input, a better horsebreeder and a better stable.Literally that simple
>>633576go to the help page, add up all the numbers, then for a specific skill (say masonry) divide the total by that number. That's how many bricklayers are optimal. Roofing/cladding for roofers, carpentry/joinery/parquetry for carpenters ect.
>>633580Better water, hay and straw will help too.
How do you go about transferring dosh between domains? My main domain is flush with cash but my new mining colon-I mean, fellow hamlet is too poor to begin production.
>>633594Buy gold -> liquidate gold -> drop into marketplace -> pickup with a unit -> travel to other domain -> drop gold -> sell gold
>>633594buy gold, carry gold to domain, sell goldexpect to pay a lot of taxes and to lose ~10% in transit in addition. It's not really efficient to move money around, domains are supposed to be self sufficient.
>>633580>>633582>>633584thanks for replying. I have 50% meadows (and 60% at other side of domain, not prefferable), 50% straw, 40% hay and horse trainer with +30 horse breeding (with ~40% tools). stables is at just 20% which I'm trying to rebuild.

does having no income tax improve happiness or another metric? i'm only collecting 115 dinars in one of my hamlets at 50%, and i'm wondering if it's more beneficial to decrease the tax to 0%
>>633982tax income take money from the wallets of your workers. workers use their money to buy demands to improve happiness so lower income tax means more money means more fulfilled demands means more happiness
>>633990damn, i must be a chump. i bought the demands they had for them. fuck these guys, i'll be taxing them as much as i can AND pay them a low wage
>>633982>>633990The way I do it is that I pay them a little bit more than I tax them. They get money, buy shit, the next day you'll tax what they have left, and pay them again. Most of the money will come back to your pocket regardless, its just a question of how fast it'll circulate. I think if they buy stuff that you don't have on auto-purchase for demand then the money will be gone.
>>633970No need to buy since I produce everything myself. Check 'em
>>633993You misunderstand. They can only buy the goods they have access to. So unless you're road linked to another domain, their only source of stuff is you. You buy the goods to put in your stockpile, then they buy them from the stockpile, putting dosh back in your pockets. The demands window just tells you what they're going to want access to in the near future.

>>634154Sorry I'm not in Ingerland so I don't know the land. Our Ingerland bros should help out newfriends and scout out locations for potential settlement. But generally you want some stuff with a mix of rural industries to start with. Mix of plain and meadows, some rock nearby(granite always sells). Plains can be made into farms and orchards later. Meadows are good to harvest hay, and if you have the right type of trees on meadows(check the help page for hives, they need specific tree types).
>the maximum capacity of the domain has been reachedok cool, how do I unreach it, build more houses?
>>634130Not that anon, but some things to look for are high quality(70%+) stone/lime/clay close to the village, high quality common trees, high quality farm land, rare trees, good iron. You don't need all in one village, but having at least one of these should be your priority.Personally, I would try to shop around 09221E:26339N
>>634205build a temple and a warehouse and upgrade to village
>>634205you need to get better title. capacity depends on the title and on organisations that share the domain (for example, parish increases the pop. cap by 1000).you can check you population cap in the Buildings tab - by hovering your mouse over the house icon there.

I cant understand how roads work, so you build a road, but can also build a building(in the same zone) that will be erected on the side? What are the downsides of buildings not being connected? Also are you guys playing from a browser or is there an app, because I cant find it
>>634239its a browser game but i sometimes use phone to play, its shittier with phone though. some buildings require road to be near it to build them, other than that roads are mostly useful for connecting your domain to neighbor domains
is it important to have close domains and connect them or can you spread them out and it doesn't matter so much?
>>634244Gotta use some math to get the most efficient distance, but your should spread out as much as possible. Yet the closer they are the easier it is to establish a trade network early on, which is nice
>>634248what's most optimal?
The main objective is to study a little bit of the market. Gathering construction material like stone, lumber (oak) and nails is the most common things in demand. Veggies and fruits will help but I'd go for veggies. You need to make sure to meet your demands by producing the most easily makeable stuff.Make a school, then spam houses, build structures for production when you have room for it. If you start off fresh, you will be given a domain that has houses and construction already
>>634259I'm sure anon meant to spam streets, not houses. In the game streets are not the same thing as roads. Roads simply conect your buildings to your market square and your domains if they share a border (you can't build roads outside your domains), while streets are meant as "settlement streets with a few houses", you first lay down streets, than you ugrade them to "house" "two houses" "tree houses" and so on, but the gain will be less and less the more you will go up. Until you will become a town you should only lay down streets since they are cheap and need no stone/bricks. Next, when you will have no more space to build streets in (you can build them only in the circular radius that has the market as the center, it will became bigger as your population grows), you upgrade gradually to "house" level the streets.
Thulebro, why you all striking and embargoing?
Thule just started a brick and lime embargo on Nessos, Fucking christ.
>>634253I've seen 50 arpents being thrown around. Your border can extend 40 in any direction, so technically 80 is the "optimal" number, but it will forever before your borders touch. You also don't need that much space. 40-50 is probably best, then your borders can touch relatively quickly and you can get to use internal tradeThe best pattern is usually to have a lordship and/or city surrounded by a ring of villages, or the best equivalent. They can't daisy chain the markets(which is retarded) so you want as many borders to touch as possible, but of course geography doesn't always make that possible.

Whats the cooldown on an embargo? Can you just spam it and cripple and entire continent?
>>634278>>634253"Most optimal" would be between 60 and 80 arpents from your center.Take the distance to the east and north from the coordinates and use Pythagoras. As I said, this will make it hard to connect you settlements early on. Just check the surrounding area, if theres not high quality shit, just settle close by and take the best you can get. Each additional settlement takes a lot of investment to get going, so decide if you want to build tall or build wide

>>634394choose lower quality
>>634376It clears the market of all offers, and prevents anyone from putting in new ones. This is done to stabilize a market that's running itself into the ground for example. Anyone got a QRD on what is going on with Thule and such? Did Tilea fags attack a settlement on nessos and slavs responded? What is going on bros
>>634539No you need to check the skills needed to do the job. The carpenter main stat is agility, then come strenght and constitution. You don't want to have shitty strenght but you don't want shitty constitution either. Even is one is mediocre and the other is good it's ok.
I've managed to set up a settlement, by moving into an older one that had rice fields mainly because when I saw I could grow rice my desire to create vast rice fields overcame my desire to have a nice location. anyway How do I become a vassal or join Ingerland now what I am here
>>634654>>634539IN is very important for jobs, but it is missing from the carpenter requirements. You make a good carpenter with mediocre relevancy as long as his IN is high.
>>634656>How do I become a vassal or join Ingerland now what I am hereFind the nearest member of Ingerland (red border when you zoom out on the map, should show their place in Ingerlands vassal chain if you click on their info screen) and send a message asking to be their vassal.Note that until you have a lordship you won't be able to unite your hamlets and people will be less likely to want to vassalize you though.
>>634676What is a lordship? is that just the upgraded hamlet
>>634678There are a few different types of organizations in the game. The three a new player will want to know about is nobility (can vassalize your other hamlets, strong military), urbanity (good production, large pop) and rurality (can farm and mine). You'll want a nobility since it can vassalize your urbanity and rurality so that you can have all your lands join Ingerland rather than just one, since there's a cap on how many direct vassals people can have.Note that nobility and urbanity can't farm or mine so if your main Ingerland hamlet is in a place with good resources you'll probably want to find a different place to place your other holdings.
>>634681So the place I just settle in ingerland, I want to farm rice and maybe limestone. so I would need to make another hamlet somewhere then became a lordship so my first hamlet is a vassal, so I then become a vassal to Ingerland itself?
>>634685Pretty much yeah. If you want to use your current hamlet for farming then never promote it past a village.
>>634688Oh I see so its about promotion of the settlements, so I can use the funds of the first place to support the second one to upgrade. Okay thanks. pretty much real feudalism shit going on.

Now I have a main team of carpenter, roofer and bricklayer, and two carpenters working on their own. Should I buy them more tools too? Since I started extracting clay money should not be a problem.
>>634794Bro what are you saying? Coffe, sugar, coffee, coconuts, bananas (kek),and in the winter almost all the shit you can do in the spring/summer in the norf. Souf is not so bad as it seems imho. The only problem is that you can't make armor, but let's just settle near the see and some paypigs can just build trade routes and bring good shit from the norf. Then you just maul everyone in the continent and became a blob.
>>634808>Since I started extracting clay money should not be a problem.based and claypilled
Currently moving towards Ingerland. I know how to found a Hamlet there, but what will happen then? Will I automaticall start with some ressources and people again, or will I have to buy everything? And what would be some good first steps once I'm there. I assume building some roads and houses?
>>634896You'll start fresh with pretty much nothing except 3 untrained units, so you'll want a quarry for income up as soon as you can and a school to train them with.
>>634896You'll start with an empty square that you can upgrade to market square, so you can buy resources. You'd better bring some gold or other lightweight expensive stuff to sell and get yourself some money, because cash isn't shared between domains.
>>634897Can I take over old buildings? The spot I chose has a small school in it. If I arrive there before it gets destroyed can I keep it?I think I read somewhere that old stuff gets deleted, but want to make sure.
Fuck me, I just now realized that you can unequip optional items
>>634902You can but from what I've heard it's expensive and you'll be better off demolishing the buildings for resources.
>>634901I got 1.5k tokens. Would that be enough for some tokens to cash conversion to get me started? As I'm walking there pretty much naked.>>634905Alright, I'll see whats better once I'm there.
>>634908it's better to use your tokens to rush things and not convert them to money unless you really need it, maybe one of our richer members can gift you a bit of gold so you can sell that and get started
>>634902Every building have a value that you have to pay in order to take ownership of that building. From my experience, It is absolutely worth to buy instead of demolishing them. A school costs ~800g, four houses ~2700g, but the exact cost depends on the quality and health of the buildings
>>634908Also I'm not sure where you are but if there's fruit trees then that's really good starting cash and getting a limestone quarry and limeburner can be good too. Worse comes to worst, you can also sell wood, but it's better to use that as building material unless you really need money to start the hamlet up
Does it really have no bonuses?
Would it be better to call my lord back, buy him a horse and send him with some ressources? Am I correct, that a horse more than doubles his speed? Pace modifier +15 vs currently 10. And how much more would he be able to carry, as 200kg is not that much in ressources. Or can I just let him carry money?>>634912That school would cost 1.2k then, at least that's what it shows on the right when clicking on it. So too much for me currently.
>>634917Yeah, but why would you harvest wood when you can take hazelnuts? If you are forced to fell the trees just use the wood in whatever way it let you use it, but usually it's more worty to just take nuts and sell them. Good money.
Nobody buys literally anything I put up
>>634923I started in Samotras and relocated some days ago in Nessos. I left my old hamlets running to make money and use my lords as porter to take gold I bought in Samotras and sell it in Nessos. It's better to buy an horse, you will need half the time to make the same road even if you buy on of the cheapest (they are all more or less of medium quality anyway). With your lord you can't even move wood, stone etc. it's only worth to bring silver, gold, gems and so one. People usually move gold ores, the market is saturated right now so you can buy them almost at the same price you will sell it to the xxxxjews. Do note though that you lose 10% of the value of the goods you extract from your storage because the admin is an asshole. If you don't know how to do it: go to the storage, select the red "liquidate" button on the right of the good you need, and then select "drop on the market" or something like this, you will then need to drag the item in the market square tile on the character you want to give the item, then you send him to your new hamlet and hold click on your lord portrait until a there will be a pop up from were you'll have to select "drop on the floor".Btw were did you found your new hamlet? Are you Chuckus?
>>634884The question is not "why extract clay", the real question is "why aren't you extracting clay" my dude. I hate so much I can't keep extracting clay in my lordship.By the way, it's worth to build a vegetable garden in a lordship? I know I can only train gardeners who can't automate veggies because are fucking hippies, but won't I be able to make vegetables all the same manually? The profits seems enormous.
>>634923>Am I correct, that a horse more than doubles his speed? Pace modifier +15 vs currently 10. +15 for 50% quality horse, +7.5 for 0% quality, >And how much more would he be able to carry, as 200kg is not that much in ressourcesSaddle horse does not affect carrying capacity, every point of ST above 10 gives 25kg>Or can I just let him carry money? You can buy gold, give him gold, and sell gold int the new village. Expect to lose about ~10-20% of value per transaction>>634934I cant harvest in this SCORCHING HEAT

How can I fuck up sneedus and steal his coast domains?
>>634967I was hoping to pick up sneedingham since I'm very close, was gonna put a lordship to the north of it and east of my current hamlet I'm building up
>>634970I intended to give it away afterwards, are you acorn?
>>634975Yes, I don't have the money to expand to it right now since I'm about to occupy what appears to be an abandoned hamlet, and need to setup the lordship to the east of acorn first so it'll be a while before I can really think about taking sneedingham, should be sometime soon when his hamlets become available I'd imagine
>>634983My plan was to siege them down to speed up the process.I know it is possible to force vassalise him when the insurrection starts, but I don't know if you can actually take over the domain.
>>634991Oh I'm not really sure to be honest. If that's possible, then it doesn't really matter who builds up Sneedus' old villages, but I think it makes sense that this one in particular eventually goes to House Maple
>>634943>>634949Thanks, I think I got this figured out now. I'm Lord Memel somewhere far in the south, but I think I'm gonna restart, as my dude now takes 24h just to come back home. Can you connect roads to people who are not part of your domains and share markets if your borders touch? Is that even beneficial for me?
>>635274Your unit can carry 350kg and it needs to transport 30000kg, so it is around 85 trips between the village and the mine. With decent wagons/horses, the carrying capacity could be for example 3000kg, so you would save the time needed for 75 trips. I say try it and report back the results.

I've finnally moved into, course now Im struggling with small population, I plan to try and buy a horse and have a family member walk over with gold form the first settlement after selling random stuff. How do I increase my popluation, I expanded my domain because I wanted rice fields but it instead expended north, Im west coast near Ingerland called Futa Rice
I moved into an old settlement on the coast and I just realized, I have to walk around and claim all the older buildings before I can start using them. I though I was SoL with my new units just not having jobs
>>635359Increase your population by building Streets which are the base level housing. It's more efficient to build more Streets than to upgrade them, so just build those. >>635364you can either pay for them yourself or demolish them and sell the materials
>>635359You can buy some of the streets and repair them, it is faster than rebuilding them. Your lime deposits are super valuable, one mine can fuel the expansion for a while. >>635652>Can you only build roads within domains? If so, does this mean you can only connect domains if they're right next to each other?Yes to both. Border radius grows with population, so growing that will give you a larger territory.>>635574>New workers has sth to do with your migratory flow, not exactly sure how it works yet.Population is equal to housing capacity times happiness, increasing either or both will give you more population. I'm paypigging because I fell in love with this game and I'm putting in some decent efforts, but I'm not sure if it's too far to have a chance. Not against vassalization but I want a chance to become powerful in some way, even if within factions. Well, the cost of the fruit is already high as hell.No wait cancell that, I have an hamlet were I happened to find some grapes, that recently grow a new tiles by the way (didn't know it could happen), shouldn't I be able to grab the grapes and brig them to my lordship?
>>636103>>636105I tried to drag the sapphires but its not working. It seems I got the wrong tab. helphere is the pichttps://files.catbox.moe/lsdww2.png

>>636140So I have been thinking. Is it a good idea to keep your old domains so you can smuggle stuff from old continent? Seems like a good idea right?
How do I kill workers from old domain? I dont want them eating money. I want my old domain to be used exclusivley for smuggling only
>>636128you need quite a bit to plant lots of new ones, young fruit trees dont give much so you will have to wait. be sure to harvest them with fruit gatherers, I think you can even use another domain's fruit gatherer for that (someone correct me if I'm wrong) so you won't have to waste a new unit for that in your hamlet
>>636145settlers dont get wages, only specialised workers get shekels
>>6361451. hold the left mouse button on your unit2. delete this unityou can only delete units with full health and that came to you more than 24 hours ago
Guys how to decrease commercial expenses? And why are they so high? In my new domain the expenses are barely 20 coins but here its 1600 thousand when the only building I have is an marketplace? https://files.catbox.moe/axpt92.png
>>636151correction its 100 coins in my new Hamlet but you get what I'm trying to say.
>>636151they are stuff that you have bought already, not an extra expense I think
>>636151you don’t have to worry about it, it just writes how much you spent today and thinks that you will spend the same amount tomorrow, but if you buy goods by hand, it doesn’t work. this only works if you have a fully automatic economy with auto buy and auto sell
>>636155>>636154I get it now. Thanks brehs
>>636023You're like a little baby. Check 'em
>>635831two title slots wasted
what do these medals mean?
>>636225That this is the highest quality of given resource in the world
>>636146Does the grape quality change the quality of the new trees I'm planting?
>>636018Tilea needs to fuck off outta nessos
>>634563After wrestling with the UI and skimming through the PDF's I think I get this game now.>can't do shit without a market square since you import everything when you start (why don't new players start out with one?)>everything is done by units>each unit that isn't a Lord represents 100 people>units can be trained to do stuff at certain locationsI retrained my starting butcher to a quarryman and had him join my existing quarryman in quarrying granite. Guess I'll sell granite to keep my hamlet afloat since it's rather valuable. I'm also recalling my lord from Ingerland and giving him a horse when he arrives tomorrow (I started in the deep south). Then what do I do? Load him up with valuables to sell and make a new domain in Ingerland?
>orchads, which are incompatible with medium nobility, are required for vines which are compatible with medium nobilityThis game is so esoteric some times. I don't really mind since I only wanted vine fields to look pretty and don't really care about quality but some of these mechanics feel bizzare.
>>636169Yes I am. It's the first time I plant a tree bro., what quality are your plains/meadows? While I'm at it I can ask you, does the fruit quality influence the quality of the trees? I harvested 300 Kg of poor quality (15%) grapes in my other hamlet. I'm training a fruit grower over there to not waste the next harvest, but if I can I would like to use these grapes since they let me plant 6 tiles of trees. Also, does water quality influence trees quality? If I make a low quality tree, will I be able to improve the quality over time? Grapes sell for high prices but I'd like to get good quality fruit if I can.
>>636240pretty sure it does
>>636261Figure out how to run your settlement. New one you have to start from scratch with just an empty square and nothing else. When you are ready to move, buy a horse, buy all the gold you can, load it onto your character, add a new character on your house page, transfer domain ownership to that character, then move your main character to a new land.
>>636291Alright cool, thanks. Is it not possible to abandon your first settlement though? What has everyone done to their starting hamlet after leaving for Ingerland?
Should I have a carpenter in each settlement, or is it more wise to divide labor and have carpenters go where they're needed/just use the settlers to build?
>>636296You can abandon it, but it's a waste to do so early on. Even if you don't develop it, it still can generate cash from selling rocks and stuff.
Is a salt refinery even worth the hassle?
>>636298Carpenters build most buildings faster and result in higher quality buildings, which is especially important for workshops since building quality affects output quality. Every settlement should probably have carpenters, especially for the beginning at least.
>>636302Alright, good to know. Is it possible to migrate populations between settlements?
Why the fuck the game is so slow today
>>636353i feel like it has something to do with the vassal borders color change that was released today but i could be wrong
>>636278Well... I feel like we will know in 3-4 days. I'll try to put the grapes in the storage and see how shitty the vine would be. If it's too shitty, I'll just sell this and buy higher quality grapes.
>>636298>>636296at the beginning most units should be builders. lots of carpenters and roofers, and few bricklayers for buildings that need stone, but bricklayers arent good for streets or houses because they usually decrease quality so you should use a roofer and carpenter combo for housing buildings. its wise to collect lots of gold with starting hamlet and just move it to your new settlements with the lord. you could make more quarries or production stuff instead of building more housing, could even retrain all units into production to maximize profits
>>636266Plains are 80% Quality, though that does not matter as much as its mostly about the ploughman. If you have fruit trees around you always use those, single orchard costs between 1-2k denar of shit quality fruit at the moment, apart from cheap plums.Quality of the tree depends mostly on the ploughing, so if you got 73% you can expect a pretty good quality tree regardless.Even if you would buy grapes, I don't think you'll get more than 30% at the moment and the improvement from 15% grapes to 30% would only bee in the single digits regarding tree quality while killing yourself financially. Of course you want everything of the best quality, but good ploughing and your own fruit is all you ever need.Haven't experimented with water, as there is no good quality around, but I don't think so. Even if it does, it would be little to nothing. You'll improve over time - 15% turns to 50% turns to 80%. Also keep open space between some of your orchards, they drop fruit and multiply on their own over time (if you want to save money).
Should I only have 1 welldigger per well?
>>636382Unless you're using a crazy amount of water daily
>>636385Also what do Welldiggers do? Do they speedup water harvesting or do they give more water?
>>636388They allow you to automate the collection of water as well
>>636390ok so they speedup well digging right?Do they give water bonus?
>>636391Yes they do
>>636391I think you could also improve water quality by improving the well to a cistern.
>>636391Water is endgame resource, don't bother with it as long as you can
>>636360Wait, I actually need a roofer for all the streets I'm building? Or only if I upgrade to houses? I don't have enough manpower to have a bricklayer and a roofer at the moment, should I stick to building streets until I get enough workers for good bricks and roofing?
So plateus of 0% are always something else, while fields of funny textures are either deposits or just fields. Am I getting it right?
>>636463For streets you need a carpenter and a roofer, a bricklayer will lower work quality since you are not using bricks for those. For houses, you need a carpenter, a roofer and a bricklayer if you use bricks, or stonemason if you use stone. Your choice about that, but the roofer improve construction time and quality of both streets and houses since both require roofing.
>>636463anyone can build streets and houses, but carpenters, masons and roofers have skills and tools so they build houses faster and higher quality for the same cost>>636464yes
>>636467bricklayer if you use bricks or stone, stonemasons are retards who know sculpture so you keep one around in case you want to consecrate a temple
>>636467>or stonemason if you use stoneNah. Stone Cutting only increases speed, you still Masonry for quality. And Bricklayers layers have higher Masonry than Stone Masons because reasons.
>>636469In my old hamlet I used only stone since I had a sandstone quarry, so I used stonemasons. Also, I have Lol+, what do sculptors do beside consecrate temples?
If someone were to make a quick english tutorial video, what things would you like to see covered?
Is there a way to auto buy demands?
>>636494Do I have to click it for each item?
>>636477I'm telling you bricklayers are for laying stone, stonemasons are retardsSculptors do sculpture, and stonemasons do sculpture, and sculpture is needed for some things like temple consecrations or spires on cathedrals>>636479I'd like all things covered If it's one video or the first video, the basic concepts - explanation of organisations, vassalship, title slots, world grid, units, buildings, resources
>>636479-Just because you started with two vegetable gardens in Kaldor doesn't mean it's a good idea-Paying attention to building unlock requirements-How population works-Domain expansion-Gold
>>636495yes but only once, so the first few days you'll have a bunch to click but later you'll only have a new one pop up every week or so
>>636479Explain the taxes.
>>636501this and vassal tax/distance penalty
>>636479-Taxes and wages (demands and happiness)-buy and sale orders (how to make money 101)-housing and builders (eg. stonemasons are retards)
>>636479I would like to know way too much to cover it all in a quick video. If it's mostly for here, where everyone wants to move to Ingerland, maybe some info on how to best do that. What things not to do (Send your Lord without horse and money, etc) and what makes a good location. How to give your second character a title, or some ways to use them. Also first steps in your new, empty hamlet. But that seems more for a follow-up video. Guess some general advice on how to do the basic things (like automation of your dudes, buying/selling stuff, demands, etc) in the game would be better.
>>636497>'m telling you bricklayers are for laying stone, stonemasons are retards>Sculptors do sculpture, and stonemasons do sculpture, and sculpture is needed for some things like temple consecrations or spires on cathedralsI see I'm a retard. So besides sculpture the only, sort of, benefit of having a stonemason is to have him help your bricklayer when you use stone and not bricks?
>>636479the fukin interface
>>636536Bricks are a type of stone in this game
>>636545Yeah I didn't notice. I just assume bricks were one thing and stone another, so I just assumed that a stonemason would be the one building in stone and the bricklayer the one building with bricks. Why has everything to be so autistically wrong in this game?
So it turns out there is a minor benefit to becoming a viscount or vidame, the distance penalty on your vassal tax increases 5% every 300 arpents compared to a 5% increase every 200 arpents for lordships and baronies. This means a viscount will get a little more tax money from distant vassals than a lord would. Barons still don't have any gameplay benefits other than a different crown.
>>636547I used stonemasons because some anon here told me "they were just as good lmao" for a long time until I decided to actually check what they do
Finally got some sales in the market. 5.5k of chainmail and 1500 breastplates. Someone gearing up for war.

Sapphires seem pretty cheap in our Kingdom right?
>>636651Continent I mean
yooooooooo brooos. Should I start smuggling Ebony? I can buy ebony for 40 shekels each in my old Continent. They cost so much here. Should I smuggle it?
>>636654it could be worth it if you had hamlets on northeast coast of kaldor, southwest coast of nessos and carters there definetely not worth carting to norfbut still I doubt you could earn a lot due to the time, low demand and wages
>>636660I wanted to bring my saphires from Drakaris but just noticed that they would value almost nothing in Nesos. So im gonna have to use a diffrent resource it seems to tranfser my wealth

>>636741It is possible, but I don't think there is a demand for it
What the literal fuck, I got two settlers today and BOTH have 3 con
>>636464no, fuzzy plains are always plains, deposites have there own unique textures . plataues all gave their own unique textures.
There's a chance my domain might have uncovered a deposit? Do I have to search around with a surveyor
How long can a hamlet sit at 0 health and in an insurrection. I vassalized a guy near me and he just completely abandoned the hamlet now. Its been a week its sat at 0 with no workers.
>>636789as far as i'm aware, you can see the resources without any special requirement. just look at the tiles, some of them will have specific textures. i'm still not good at differentiation, so i can't really help you with what to look for. just click around and get familiar with what you're looking atalso, surveyor does not equal prospector. a surveyor is used for architecture, while a prospector (not in the game) is used to search for resources
Why wont my welldigger start automaticaly harvesting water on his own? I checked the greenboxes and he still wont start unless I start him. HELPhttps://files.catbox.moe/hsxpjc.png
>>636807I read somewhere they only auto do stuff when they're full stamina.
>>636807everything's fine. automation does get the units working without your input, but they're slow about doing it
>>636809>>636810Ok thanks I thought I was doing something wrong then. Well Imma go to sleep soon and I better wake up with more water than I have now
>>636809i found what you mentioned in the "lands of lords guide.pdf." i don't remember where i downloaded it, but it says it here:>when your workers are fully rested they will begin their automatic work (like mining in a quarry), the game checks for rested workers with automatic actions once an hour, if your worker is still recovering at that time, he will miss the chance to start an action and have to wait for the next hour for a chance to start again; having multiple workers doing the same automatic action within one building can increase the speed of the action while simultaneously decreasing the exhaustion accrued to any individual unit, potentially allowing more actions completed per day. However, putting 15 nailmakers in one forge will not result in thousands of nails being produced in a few hours.

So i'll have to build a new place to become a lordship because I can't farm or mine right, if so should it be in range so it build a road between the two of them. I have a bunch of thick ass forest everywhere os im not sure where to place it
>>636847You can farm and harvest fruit in a lordship.
>>636848You can only farm wheat though>>636847I believe thick ass forest is the best for lordships, so you can cheaply build wooden castle, gates, walls and towers by felling trees
>>636479Someone should ask SsethTzeentach to do a video about this game. It should be hilarious.
>>636680Pro Zak is like krokodile. Your legs will rot. So better not to use.
>>637404God no, please keep that fag away from here, we don't need a storm of braindead newfags to ruin it like he did SS13 Or maybe they would just be easy pickings, but still, that would be obnoxious.
>>637875I feel like this game would be too investment heavy for those types at least. 95% percent would quit after the first week and the other 5% probably wouldn't be that bad anyway.
Do you guys using the old domain as a secondary base on whole another continent would be a nice idea? For example using it for trading only and being peaceful while most of development occurs in my new Domain in ingerland? Also is there a limit on how many domains you can have?
