Honestly I've enjoyed after the end. I love althistory about America and it just kinda scratches an itch I had for that kind of shit. I personally don't mind the nativewank as much (I can see how it can be annoying tho) and I like a lot of the religions for how stupid they are (i.e. Gnarlist, Viking, Earthvault, etc). My big problems are how unstable the mod even after all this time and the complete lack of anything relating to the Confederacy. I know they don't wanna do any racial shit but you can't NOT have the CSA when they have an option to reform the US. Plus I think a klan religion would be funny (also, check the ban channel on their discord. All kinds of goofy ass bans)

Why does nobody ever talk about The Fallen Eagle? It's excellent. I had a great run playing the 406 AD submod bookmark as the Alans crossing the Rhine. I had a blast setting up a kingdom in Hispania and dealing with all the other barbarians and Romans as the west collapsed.

From Shogun 2, where every faction remaining on the map turns against you after you reach a certain size, except for a few key allies you really invested into. Once you become the biggest blob on the map in this game, there's nothing left. No one can challenge you, even if you somehow lost your 50k levies in a war they'd be back within 5 years and it cost you nothing. I get that this is a sandbox and not suppoesd to be some difficult game but really neither of these are mods???

I wonder what the LOTR mod will make of the last update and DLC. Maybe they'll just do a quick compatibility patch, but there seems to be a lot of potential for activities. Feasts, hunts, weddings and tours are pretty straightforward, although they'll probably get creative with the animals that can be hunted, but pilgrimages and tournaments might be trickier if they want them to fit into the setting.And beyond that, I remember them being very interested in implementing sailing events even before activities were revealed as an upcoming thing, I'm wondering whether they might turn pilgrimages or tours into a sailing/exploring activity or something.
