any RPGs that extensively feature prison life?not just getting arrested as a fail state, and not just a scripted sequence where you immediately break out. a game where you can embrace imprisonment and gain wealth and status within the prison population.

One of the parts is the interactive fiction 'text quests', one of which being a daily prison life sim that triggers if you get caught for something illegal. You get to train several stats, get respect of the inmates or get on good terms with the guards by snitching, train a cockroach to take part in cockroach racing, get beat up for various reasons, dig a tunnel, be a good boy and apply for shorter prison sentence, and a bunch of other stuff. One time I was getting into it and a fellow ranger bailed me out.
