Almost every enemy in the zone should drop some shards that will help out with the boss of the area. If you lose to something, it gets logged into your monster log with its weakness in there too. That's really important, since elemental brands apply to physical skills. It can be a huge damage boost if you abuse elemental weaknesses.I'll say though, the single biggest thing that will help you if you're stuck on a boss is this: just go explore somewhere else. It's what the game wants you to do, since you get more Stones of Sin for beefing up your familiars, more brands, and more equipment. Grinding for levels does almost nothing, the only reason to do it is for more skill points or if you're killing enemies to make a certain brand. Otherwise, go explore somewhere new.

At the very least, it was genuinely interesting to beat these bosses in another way besides using Yolnaya's unga bunga charge spam and I got to see how powerful Faria and Kuu are by abusing their offensive and supportive capabilities. Because of this core, I now consider Kuu to be the best character in the game with the most ridiculous build options at the widest range of whatever level he is around. Yikes, the final postgame boss of Ghost Path took me 73 turns. Even though the title music was kinda middling for hakika, having it turn up in the area before that boss was kinda kino. But the boss itself is another case of throwaway postgame final bosses. Which is pretty much a running theme for hakika, until he makes some of them turn up again in SEQUEL.Compared to Silver Tower, it does have a lot of warts but is still a fun game. Having to comb over the world for curses so you can access the final dungeon sucked though.
