This comic but with MT, Olivia, and Auris as the guy being kept awake in panel 4
>cheap forced drama and darksouls aesthetic wank>still the most sovlful game in the seriesHow did Colony do it? Why can't he top it anymore?
>>2857589Just use the search function on https://arch.b4k.co/You can search by individual board. Like so. https://arch.b4k.co/vrpg/search/text/errasaga/
>>2857897For me it’s pretty simple how colony happened.Blight was the first game, a real gem but a very rough one that needed some fine tuning.Awake attempted to improve upon blight’s systems (and succeeded in many ways) but fell off in other areas such as gameplay difficulty and story.Colony existed to improve upon both blight and awake, basically marrying the two games together both gameplay-wise with how its skill tree system is, and story-wise with how it doesn’t ignore the fact that awake happened. Not to mention bringing in characters from blight at the perfect time.
>>2857897Cliches go down the easiest for a reason, anon. Just like why stereotypes feel right and word of mouth feels trustworthy. Its human, baby.
>>2857897There's plot development outside of MT waking up somewhere and getting dragged into something. It also starts in medias res of an active story.>BlightRabi finds MT, they go on an adventure, things escalate out of nowhere.>AwakeMT "finds" Kuruha and Sheena, they go on an adventure, things escalate out of nowhere.>ColonyMT is in Schisma for a purpose, meets Auris, they embark on a mission that's suspiciously clear cutThe first two games have non-traditional narratives. That's not bad by any stretch, but it makes the pacing seem off at times. Like in Blight, one moment you're taking jobs and kicking doors, and in the next, the Sage Group bursts onto the scene. If I remember correctly, your involvement in all this was set in motion by an Aurum excavation robot. And by the end, you're traveling across alternate realities to fight the titular Blight that hitherto weren't part of the story. By the end, I had no clue what had happened.Everything in Colony is very purposeful. It doesn't meander. Furthermore, Auris' journey is cyclical and damn near airtight.
>>2857897The real question is how he went from the pure kino of Colony, to the absolute dogshit that was Asylum. I've tried enjoying the game so many times, yet I've never been able to advance as it was so boring to me. I remember going starry eyed to Asylum as I had just finished Colony and had one of the best rpg experiences I had in a long time. First time I tried to play it I stopped at the 3 hour mark, not only was it fetish fueled (with the shit and all other sort of crap), the map design was atrocious, the combat felt really bad and the cgs were godawful
>>2858396Yes, Asylum is fucking weak compared to any other game he has made. It still has some redeeming aspects, but goddamn. It's hakika's lowest scored game on dlsite for a very good reason.
>>2858423What makes it bad though?
>>2858396>>2858423Didn't Hakika said Asylum was sort of an experiment so he could see what he could and couldn't do?
>>2858457>Huge fuckin maps you'll get lost in>The only character with an actual skill tree is Malice, the three familiars you get have really small amounts of customization in comparisonAlmost no character interactions (the only way you can communicate with someone while exploring is through the Versa Doll)>The story takes a long time to get going. Basically nothing happens for the first 2/3s of it. All of the interesting story stuff is at the end and in the postgame>The scenes kinda suck because the men talk too much. In particular, most of Lars and Merchant's scenes suck. The rest are good in my book, especially the familiar scenes. I like the game, but holy fuck it is flawed.
>>2858467There's also the fact monsters can apparently breed normally and monsters aren't exclusively created from mana alone. Is it ever mentioned if most species are only one gender or not? Like, there are no male Barbarians anywhere to be seen in the series, so I'm assuming they're like Amazons and can only give birth to more female Barbarians. But then Clar is a male succubus.
>>2858492Male monsters apparently can produce mana too, if Colony's frogmen standards apply to all, so it's possible they're having male problems too and are vulnrible to murder.Clar also explicitly suggests trading mana, but I would assume male succs operate at negative efficiency.
>>2858492>Is it ever mentioned if most species are only one gender or not? Like, there are no male Barbarians anywhere to be seen in the series, so I'm assuming they're like Amazons and can only give birth to more female Barbarians. But then Clar is a male succubus.I'd just assume male monsters are incredibly rare. We have male devils in the form of these dudes throughout the series, for example.>>2858505>Male monsters apparently can produce mana tooWe already knew that. All males produce mana. That's why Kuruha became notorious for attacking men, she was molesting male monsters. It's just that male humans are exceedingly rare since humans are low on the food chain in Ordowald.
>>2858508>That's why Kuruha became notorious for attacking menI don't remember this being mentioned. Was she not a virgin before getting MT'd? I thought that she had said this at some point and being labelled the monster woman was just a colossal case of irony.
>>2858520She specifies Manatank is her first. I find it hard belive she'd suck a monsters dick but not fuck one. I think the only other sexual contact she had was with Sheena and Kuruha was on the receiving endShe's basically just projected a super horny teenager aura.
>>2858520She was a virgin. She tells you that in her third scene in awake. They just say this about her in blight. Also in her first scene in awake, she mentions it was her first time with a human male.
>>2858531How'd the rumor start though? Did she get really horny one time and walk around Matlor demanding cock?Sheena was the one trying to get her tons of mana though, so she could have inadvertently caused it if she was secretly trying to get Kuruha laid.
>>2858540She seems like the type of girl to say shit like "Ahhh, I really want to suck a cock..." when bored and in town or something or butt in on two succubus having a convo about sex and asking all sorts of questions. She was probably like 80% of a Yanie pre-finally getting some dick.
>never talks about her parents>looks like she comes from Shikinowa but is Palgadol through and through>"born" capable of using swords with no training>practically becomes a different person when wielding a sword>teeters between genius and toddler>has the complete freedom to do whatever she wantsCrackpot theory time, Nazuna is an artificial being like Nyx grown in a lab. Possibly a clone of some super high ranking powerful Shikinowa Yin-Yang member or possibly some sort of nobility/hero from the area. Her trance is the "base" personality kicking in.
>>2858672>same looking devices the Sage Group was using to create artificial succubuses.
>>2858687It's kinda likely that it's a Cadena facility just like the one under Cadena's Mansion.
>>2858688I think I'm getting facilities mixed up. Still, the two labs in Blight are so close to each other that I wouldn't be surprised if the Sage group didn't build a single device they are using, including whatever they used to make Nyx.
>>2858672Nazuna is so hot
>final SEQUEL game releases>it's shown that Rabbi was actually the most important character/is the key to the final conflictHow likely do you think it is to happen?
>>2858703I wonder, would she be a better character if she was smarter? Or would that make her less endearing?

>>2857441She can literally change reality so that everyone loves her.
>>2857532Better characters, at the very least.
>>2858970And she can't fix world's problems because?
>>2858457To put it simple, it's casuals being casuals, incapable of appreciating or enjoying a JRPG that focuses on exploration.
>>2858990Because it amuses her
I'm playing awake and I only need to get events 28 and 58 to finish it, where are they?
>>2859051See https://leafgeometry.miraheze.org/wiki/SEQUEL_awake/Events28 is at bottom right of Land of Pride if I remember right. 58 is from interacting with the bed in the small monster house at the top left of the hideaway.
>>2858990She doesn't care.
>>2858715Wasn’t she actually pretending to be retarded? At the end she was more of a ditzy type rather than actually retarded (in the postgame or the last parts of Awake it’s shown that she actually was one of the one with the most sense)
>>2858990If you were an omnipotent being would you really give enough of a fuck that you'd spend your time cleaning up the mess made by the silly monkeys down below?
>>2858990>And she can't fix world's problems because? She can, she just made a promise (potentially with Rifar) not to.Did you not play Awake?
Day 60>>2858672Nazuna is no doubt a Shikinowan, she and Shizuki shares the same type of wear, and being skilled in katana might just be a Shikinowan thing.Well we'll have to wait for the next Sequel to find out anyway.Or maybe she was a karakuri all along
What are the odds MT cameos in Innocent Rules and porks Ino in the pooper?
>>2859132Karakuri usually just means a puppet on strings or something. I’d imagine Shikinowa has wooden robots powered by mana or something.
>>2859161Well I mean Nazuna is pretty simple minded
>>2859156>he doesn't knowMana Tank is following Ino around as an invisible dude and will get to sex him in a special area called Ino's Dreams. You get to name the invisible guy, so it's pretty much almost certain it's Mana Tank.
>>2859171The way it's meant to be.
>>2859171>Mana Tank is following Ino around as an invisible dudewhy
>>2859078thanks anon, I don't know how I could have missed those two places. I finished event 28 and now I'm doing number 58.
>>2859195Well Ino knows he's there, it just that Ino is the only one that can see him and talk to him. When Ino talks to him in front of others, they think he's talking to himself.

>>2859195Wild theory. Versa is no longer trapped in Asylum, but the Silver Dragon is. He's being forced to pick a successor and this is forced on the job training so to speak.Or maybe after meeting Versa in Kludge they're "projecting" him like in Colony in an attempt to come up with some countermeasures and locked onto Ino instead of the true dragon.
>>2858715She would be too powerful.

>>2859729VERY wife material, is she in Kludge? pls say yes
>>2859735i really wanna drop asylum to jump to kludge now, does anyone have any tips to speed up this playthrough?
>>2859738You can just skip to kludge if you want to. It'd probably be more interesting to go through Asylum and see what happened in that game after you play kludge.
>>2858715I love this big goofball.
>>2858990Would preclude free will. Also it would be boring.
I really don't understand the plot of ASYLUM. Ino has a world to contain the Calamity, and there are also people there filled with regrets. Malice isn't supposed to be there and is just an unfinished fertility goddess, but somehow she gets through on a loophole to help the Calamity escape. Is that it, or am I missing something? The after-credits quests in these games confuse the piss out of me most of the time (with the exception of Colony), and I think my brain turned off at some point in the sequel story.
>>2859766basically versa is a bad girl and Ino wants to punish her but not too harshly unlike his master who pretty much wants her to stop being sentientOr something like that
>>2858464Are the other games not like it? I stalled when the game required anti-death necklaces or whatever and I didn't feel like grinding, but I liked it up to that point when I came from Black Souls (mostly cuz it seemed a lot like Black Souls to me, combat aside.)
>>2859854The main series games are pretty linear with a bunch of detours here and there, they have tons of character interaction, and usually have lots of skill tree customization. Asylum is unique in that it forgoes a lot of that in exchange for being quiet and exploration-focused.
>>2859698*unzips cheese*You were saying anon?
>>2859844So what's the deal with Malice then? She and Caith fight some monster that looks like an evolved form of her. That part and the bit where you're in a village back in time had me completely puzzled.
>>2859934The incomplete devil is Malice. The whole village is a snapshot of the past and the items found all relate to the people in town and their sins. Malice "never did anything wrong" because she was just given offerings(human sacrifices) and never got to the point she could act. The only missing sin in the grand scheme of things is Sloth, which you could kinda pin on her since her "inaction" lead to the village's demise, but ultimately she didn't belong in Asylum. Now, as for what Malice is, this is pure speculation, but I believe she was meant to be a new Calamity created by the world order to replace Versa since she had been sealed away, but Lar's interference ruined everything. Having Malice max out her sin makes her complete and she goes on to kill the Silver dragon and then Versa to become the new Calamity, but a combination of Malice developing a will of her own and Ino's time magic prevents that timeline from fully completing.
>>2859940And stuff like this is the reason that I play these games. The H scenes could honestly be better and have a habit of ending right when things could get good, and most of the fetishes aren't for me to begin with, but my dick busts out of my pants over deep, cerebral abstract lore.
any tips on fighting Vyner ? She's kicking my ass hard and I'm kinda running out of strategies to face her

Day 61>>2860153I wish she pegs me
>>2858457It's not bad but the open ended nature of the map layout made it frustrating at times. Thankfully this series doesn't use a standard random battle system but still, when you're backtracking through numerous areas and you come across the occasional battle you simply can't avoid it becomes more and more frustrating when all you want to do is find whatever nook you missed before which leads to the next area you can actually explore enough to progress. It makes you appreciate linear game design. Open ended design is only great when the game systems accommodate it.
>>2860412the open ended nature is not that big of a problem, but lacking a way to keep track of where you're going is the reason why.Good thing that the jp wiki has the entirety of ASYLUM map covered, it really helps a lot. And maybe hakika realized it and decided to make a map for Winstilla in kludge.
>>2859950Yolnaya > Lusica though.
Aurisbros... how will we ever recover from what happened the other day...
I never actually did Olivia's content in kludge, does Auris actually find out?
>>2860680>I never actually did Olivia's content in kludgeYou're missing out, buddy.Auris doesn't find out, but pic related happens in the final scene.
>>2860697I don't want to cuck my fat succubus wife...
>>2860680No, but you can marry Olivia and if you socialize with her again after, she takes you home to the capital to fuck all night longReminder that Auris's bedroom is right next door to Olivia's
>>2860704should've succeeded the House when you had the chance
Reminder that alternate endings happen if Mana Tank actually goes through with marrying someone, they just don't happen in-game. It's all up to your imagination. For example, hakika said if he married someone from awake, he would stay in Palgadol with them and the rest of the games wouldn't happen.
>>2860732I still hope MT canonically knocks up Olivia.
>>2860732>and the rest of the games wouldn't happen.Unless you're a Blight girl I guess
>>2860717Olivia just stop please.
>>2860736He's terrified of pregnancy for whatever reason even though he's okay with piss and shit. No pregnant, only breed, etc.
>>2860746I mean to be fair he was kidnapped and lost his memories.no fault of his own.
>>2860680>I never actually did Olivia's content in kludgeBased, neither did I.I couldn't defeat Idea and I forgot to backup my save when I formatted Windows, lolz.
>>2860773he's too aware of the inevitability of his own daughters raping him
>>2860861All the more reason we NEED canon preg content
>>2860475I really want to like Lusica more, but her lewd stuff feels so contrived. It doesn't seem like there's any purpose to it - especially when compared to other characters.
>>2860998>master1200I do agree with you though. Same with Faria's sexual disposition, I felt it was contrived too.
>>2860998Anon you're talking about a series where the very first interaction you have with someone is "Hey who are you and what are you doing here? Amnesia huh? Okay I'm gonna ride the fuck out of you now." Many characters don't have a reason beyond being horny.
>>2861040>first interactionTo be fair, it usually starts with a handjob. Also there doesn't need to be a causal reason - just a believable personality. The world also lends itself as much to horniness e.g. Kuruha as it does to sexual naivete e.g. Auris. But regardless of characters being written to be lewd, the lewd parts are still earned by virtue of the writing. There is nothing about Lusica's outward personality, the setting, or her situation that explains her being so horny. And this doesn't require anything elaborate either. Yanie is horny because that's how she's introduced, and we thus accept that to be her personality.
>>2861036I don't know anything about the artists who draw Sequel stuff. He have some retarded fetish or something?
>>2861055No, master1200 shows up in the filename for an image saved off of pixiv, but ONLY if you don't click beforehand to show the image in its full resolution. The master1200 indicates it's not the full res.
>>2861057I don't usually use pixiv. Something tedious about it.
>>2861065It's a horrible website for browsing, really. I just visit hakika's pixiv from time to time and get recommended other SEQUEL art that way.

>>2861057Sometimes the full res image is too big to post
>>2861082>permissionI mean, we have a download of them all as-is. Just only 2 in English.
>>2861082hakika said like two years ago that he was going to remake Town of Gears Atline, but that got postponed until later. I don't know if it'll ever come out, at this rate.
>>2861072She deserved better. I'd love it if Hakika brought her back but I really doubt it's ever going to happen.Does anyone happen to remember her full name? I happened to stumble across it looking through Hakika's twitter one day and can't even find the post where I mentioned it.
>>2861122At least Atline's in a playable state now thanks to Mythseeker, even if it's missing a lot of the newer games' QOL. At this point, all we can do is hope. It'd be nice to see him come back to it, since it's a well executed story, even with all the jank.
>>2861126Ahah, I found it. Twitter's built in search fucking sucks.>ソルテの姓がトゥーデだってどこでも言ってなかった気がする>I don't think it was said anywhere that Solte's last name was Toude. Not sure how sub-par would translate it. Tuude?
>>2861139I wonder if that's a pun.Solitude?
>>2861139Definitely just Toude or Toudde.
>>2861143Oh shit, you're right. That has to be it. That's probably why he felt the need to mention it.ソルテトゥーデ - Solte Tude - Solitude
It's still absurd to look at this portion of the map.I'm pretty sure there's nothing to translate here, and I think technically I could get away with leaving the map names untranslated (since you can't save in there, meaning the name doesn't show up) but still.
okay so someone else beat one of the distortions before me, while that makes somethings easy, it means I miss out on stat boost + monster log, is this a garanteed part of the script, or should I have come here earlier?
>>2861231Yes, it's intended.
>>2861231It's meant to happen.Later on you get to rematch against the 4 bosses in super boss style and you actually fight it then.

>>2861263Cape Clinic from colony, easily. I also really like Haven from blight.
>>2861263Awake house is comfiest, but it's a little annoying to traverse
>>2861263Awake House for sure, but it doesn't have the best theme
I've seen other people talking about this game, would anyone mind selling me on it? Is the story any good?
>>2861340It's basically a series featuring a self insert plus his harem of tards and tard wranglers adventuring across different countries for various reasons. The acclaim comes from the strength of character writing where your party members will have lots of Seinfeldian chats in the map while journeying (the main story plots are comparatively weak up until the third game), and the sovlful lore (like every item has item descriptions that connect to the dev's past and sometimes future games, every game sets up plot points that come into play later, and you can get a decent amount of flavor text by clicking on random shit)There's also sex I guess
>>2861340It's post-apocalyptic. Men are scarce, women are the dominant gender and can breed without men around, but no men are ever born this way. The few remaining men are hunted by monster girls or pretty much anyone in the world. You play as one of the few human men left alive, and you lead a party of women to fight for you. Sex stuff happens because you are a man in this kind of world and women want you, but the game in actuality is 90% everything else; gameplay, overarching story, worldbuilding, character interactions, and music are all superb. The porn is just the cherry on top. If you are interested, bookmark these.https://gitgud.io/SEQUELGOD/sequel-binhttps://leafgeometry.miraheze.org/wiki/Main_Page>Is the story any good? The story isn't really the focus in the first game (blight), the main story is quite weak. Then the story stuff ramps up a bit in blight postgame and then goes hard in the second game (awake) and onward.
is polygamy legal in Ordowald
>>2861354There isn't any seriously formalized system regarding such things outside of to a lesser extent Alzhett (major houses only) and even that's questionable. Since men are pushed to fuck as many bitches as possible, polygamy is also probably fine.
>>2861354There's only one ring of promise in the whole world so the issue has never come before lawmakers.
Personally, I feel the evident lack of due process or any stable judicial system alongside the Miruess Army's rapidly expanding influence presents a number of concerns for Vaeltria, especially after insiders leaked the hierarchical chain of orders the Army uses.
>>2861359I don't trust any organization other than the adventurer's guild in the Sequelverse really.Miruess Army: Strange hierarchy, where does their funding come from? Just sort of showed up and yelled loud enough that they are in charge no one challenges them. Boss was a TI-86 they got from ????????.Aurum: Trying to institute a gold standard when Mana is a perfectly good currency. Has an economic foothold fucking everywhere. Lead by one of the few males in the world and an immortal. Massive McChain somehow in a post-apocalyptic world doesn't add up.Sage: Obvious problems, got folded into the other two which is extremely worrisome.Yin-Yang: Pretty much the same problem as Miruess, only they are expanding globally and their country(but not neccesarily them) have spies planted everywhere that attack with lethal force.Knights: Still are doing coverups and the city is a powder keg post-colony.Robo-country groups: Access to a lot of drone strikes and pretty much no organized structure. One of the major players is one step away from creating something world ending FOR SCIENCE.Hell, even the adventure's guild has the problem of all its employees are whimsical people by nature and could do something stupid to trigger a world ending event because they were curious about some sealed ruin. The only "group" I really trust is the gang from Awake(Colemana and friends), and I would expect Nazuna to probably side with Yin-Yang(initially, at least until we beat her), if all the groups started fighting for whatever reason.
>>2861350>>2861352I see, thanks. I'll give it a try.Is the main character the same across the trilogy?
>>2861354Honestly you might only have problems with the legality of polyamory in the lawful countries, like Vaeltria, Alzhett and Elcehil. But in hellholes like Palgadol, Schisma and Vastas, I don't see why polygamy wouldn't be allowed.
>>2861263Twilight Sanctum is really peaceful, even when a literal calamity lives there and the fact that Malice killed her right there too.
>>2861381Yeah. There are 2 (soon 3) spinoffs that feature different protagonists, but mainline games use the same MC.
>>2861376>MT + full powered Colmana + moon boosted Maria ends up being the wildcard group from Palgadol that btfos every other massive faction when World War kicks off
>>2861387The way I imagine it, Moon Maria can't stray very far, so she'd be the impenetrable barrier keeping anyone from invading while the four Colemana+MT go out and dick every faction leader into submission.
I hope my itty bitty kitty is more relevant this time
>>2861400Her cat scout form was useful, but it was always off screen so it never felt like she was doing anything. If you controlled her during those segments people would probably remember her better. Now Nosh, Nosh did fuck all and has probably the least representation in common events. People just don't think about it because so many people here used her in their party. And it's a real crime too because she's adorable.

>>2857441I've never played Sequel and up until now I thought all the girls looked cute but for some reason I hate this smug little potato. Charlie Brown, come over here and kick her out of my sight.
Day 62>>2861432please tell me the real Vyner didn't wear like this
>>2861751We don’t know.
I cannot fathom how you guys think Asylum's map designs is one of the worst things that's happened in your lives. It's basically old wives tale to me. Exploration of the labyrinth isn't even the worst when you can use slain spots of trash mobs as area checkpoints. The gray smokey ashen area and the underwater area are pretty wank to explore but it's like boss rushing by your second playthrough. The rest of the map is just linear exploration with just some backtracking; the sewers under the castle being the worst offender. Descending inside the succubus mountain is a fucking bitch no matter how many the replays. As for the combat stop building Malice into a all-rounder. Go carry and use weapon skills. They're more reliable than you think early game.
>>2861848Honestly my biggest problem with it is how hopelessly lost you can get in your first playthrough. For example I have no idea how to get to Indashal until I saw on bin’s map that you get there from Piercing Crag. And I did the entire Pools of Hatred early before Lars puts down the shinies for you to follow. That was fun.
I think everyone can agree Pools of Hatred sucked, but honestly I didn't mind Asylum's maps, with maybe the small exception of trying to find the secret area in Albus's tower for like half an hour or longer. What really kills exploration in Asylum for me isn't the places themselves, but the lack of dialogue within. The banter is important, dangit.
>>2861984The banter in the main series usually also gives you some relevant information or worldbuilding about the area too. Asylum has the adventurer notes that are similar to that, but they don’t work as well since they’re mysterious sounding.
why does this safe for work board allow this loli porn. has to be a mod in this shit
>>2857441This game's art's proportions look disgusting
>>2862014It’s just a chibi artstyle.
>>2862014Still better than donuts in Colony and onward.
>>2862046You don't like donuts?
>>2862014Have you looked in the mirror lately?
>>2860732Except that doesn't really work since Manatank not continuing his adventure leads to the world ending five times over in two to ten years.
>>2862186>get to have a happy life with a cute wife until the world endsSounds good to me
>>2860732But MT's initial involvement in Awake and Kludge is involuntary while Colony was instigated by a friend, and he has no real reason to not help there
>>2862264i was on to it when the post above slandered it as pedoshit, not very well hidden contempt for this general it would seemOn a more topical note, does anyone have boss guides for asylum, I'm so tired of throwing my party at these fellas only to get wiped 40 turns in
>>2862264Not so, legit opinion.>>2862328I'm not the same anon as that, this don't look like pedoshit to me, just hate how the huge heads look.
>>2862328>>On a more topical note, does anyone have boss guides for asylumhttps://sanpingame.x.fc2.com/doujin/asylum/boss.html gives some tips for everything in the game. But the best advice I can give you in general is if you're having trouble, go do Aryaum Mirage Grotto by talking to Coldens (or teleporting there later in the game). You get stat points for every floor cleared in there, it's pretty much the easiest way to get stronger. Plus you get to level 99 easily that way.
>>2861264Cape Clinic in terms of functionality, but Rabi's house is comfiest.
>>2861340Very endearing characters.
How do I read what each stat means in Blight? they never really explain them.
>>2862449Check the readme_eng in your game folder. It always explains what each stat does.
>>2857441just finished the first one it was alright and awake has way better girls so far I only just got the fox girl tho
>>2862462You know, at this point I feel like subpar should make an in game item that explains stats and ailments. He shouldn't have to, but it would help. Hell, it should be explained via a bookcase in every game done by Hakika anyways to start with.
>>2862487they really should. insanity took me a minute to figure out and confusion doesnt even feel like it does anything atleast in blight I assumed those two conditions would make characters take random actions and hit anyone around them respectively. the stats I felt were pretty self explanatory unless I'm missing something.
>>2862462Awake has the best cast in the series, enjoy
>>2857441Looking to check these games out, where can I find links? Also is the combat good or is the main appeal the h-scenes
>>2862499see >>2861352The combat is a hefty part of the games since it's a JRPG series. The fun part about these games is how much customization options you have for your builds.
Hakika, you hack.Transparent af and happens for an split second, had to record beforehand to know what the fuck it was.
>>2862561Here's the image from the game files if you want to see it. It's partially transparent by default so I had to put it over a black background.
k so I finally beat the distortion in tempras and beat the one in huma a bit ago, now what? the one in pantities is killed already too so where do I go from here, kinda exspected the next chapter to start but seems I'm still on the current one
>>2862634A lot of people get stuck there. You need to go to Piercing Crag and keep going down the stairs there. There'll be a way to drop down and you get to the ice region Indashal that way. The bottom of that area also has an entrance past a guardian to Flesh-eating village but you can ignore that until later.
so uh, I think I told an npc to go to the wrong villagedo I have to save scum this or is this no effect?
>>2862661Congrats you locked yourself out of the good ending.
>>2862664and ayup, there I go save scumming, 40 minutes on the last save too, had to much fun grinding ...
i have a POWERFUL NEED to breed faltoga
>>2862671I for one was pleasantly surprised when she went from snobbish to snobbish and proclaiming me her husband
>>2862671Maybe next time she'll get the dicking she deserves
>>2862673Sorry, no dicking until the 8th or 9th game in the series when Hakika finally decides to address why she has equal/more mana than Manatank in her low power form when she's a female AND a monster. Seriously, what the fuck did Hakika mean by this?Is she the new cat Colemana or something after fucking around in that temple dedicated to Alma?
>>2862680>she has equal/more mana than Manatank in her low power formWhere was this from again? I've seen it mentioned in these threads a few times.
>>2862687I believe it's during Kludge's postgame. There's some device only people with a fuckload of mana can disable and your party gives up because Manatank can't reach it but she accidentally disables it anyways.
>>2862687>she has equal/more mana than Manatank in her low power formShe has a "Mana Key" just like Mana Tank has. You see this when Reda enlists Faltoga for help with that one electrical gate blocking the way to the mechagod ruins.
>>2862692I don't care what anyone says, I'm still betting that her collar is a "gift" just like Dita's ring and Kuu's crown. There's too much fishy shit going on with her.
>>2862695Well yeah. And we don't know who Kuuem 3 is either. That's a big mystery right now.
>>2862698Iirc people concluded that that one is the mutant you kill to stop the toxic rain, which would make sense considering it's location and the way Kuum were gathered to them. Only logic I can assign "compatible(exception)" to though is that it still had a purpose that could usher in the end of the world?
>>2862706No, the Yoke of the Idahsa and the Remains from the Core are Kuuem 4 and 6. Dita mentions the ones that are incompatible look like that. And it's no coincidence there are enemies in front of doors #4 and #6.
>>2862706Also, while we're on the topic, I never actually read the entry for angels.Isn't this like REALLY bad? Basically says that even heaven has given up on us and they want to get the ending of the world over with already so they can start all over.
>>2862713Shit, didn't hit the image spoiler button.
>>2862713>>2862715Who the fuck is leading the angels if they're just messengers? Do we have to add another supreme God on top of all the goddamn Monster Gods and Fantasy Gods?
>>2862716Not to mention Dragon Gods, whoops
>>2862716You know, I never thought about that. With things like Idea, Saxa, Star Silver Dragon, Versa, Lec, machine gods, and various other old-gods running around, what the fuck even is heaven and who is in charge of it? We know that Lec and later Ravinach's Decendant are in charge of the underworld, but even that only seems limited to Palgadol. Maria made it sound like all souls of the dead go to the underworld too, not just the evil ones. So what is heaven's purpose of all "good" souls just go to the first layer of the underworld where things are peaceful?
>>2862721Underworld must just be a Palgadol-only thing. Maybe Heaven is in charge of everywhere else in Ordowald?
>>2862722Even if we assume that, 1. Where do bad souls go to in the rest of the world then? Assuming Heaven only lets good souls in like is usually portrayed in media.2. Why is Palgadol an exception? Did Lec beat the shit out of Angels/gods and take their territory or something?

So I finished L.Depth, I got the ending in which I managed to get out of the mansion with the other two, and it seemed like the protag was going to be transformed into a monster but suddenly woke up in the real-world mansion without the blindfoldWhich other endings are in this game and how can I get them?
>>2863044The other endings are the sex ending and the RED LIGHT ending. The sex ending i think you have to get all their scenes. i dont remember what you had to do to go down the RED LIGHT route
>>2863044Just check the bin, it has guides for how to get the other two endings

I want to fuck the chicken.
So who are the actual God(s) of the world? There's so many minor god entities it's hard to make any sense of them. I mean, Saxa is already essentially omnipotent and there's an entire race of her, and she's not even a god.
Looking for a lost nerd during Colony's postgame. It's heartwarming to see Foxwife be stupid as usual.
>>2863205>Monster Gods from Ruinswald, three in total. They’re from Palgadol, only two are present as of now>Dragon Gods from Ghost Path, there are 7 of them, one for each element, but there is a secret eighth one for the dark element (Raguna). They’re worshipped on the Zephyr Continent, but there are some outliers like Shaandor and Vailant having worshippers in Alzhett>Fantasy Gods from Liberty Step, eight in total. We’ve only seen two so far in Sequel. That’s pretty much it.
Heh. Like mother like Daughter.
okay managed to sober up and beat the last of the distortions, looks like I'm looking for... plane parts? One takes me to pool o fhatred, I've heard bad things about this place, why is it so bad? What should I watch out for?
>>2863275Pools of Hatred is a huge goddamn area to fully explore, that’s all. When you go there for story reasons, there’s a clear path of shinies that you follow to reach the end. Problems only arise if you don’t follow that path since you’ll just get lost.
Took me 3 tries to nail the bunker-tactic to weather the 3 waves of Surge-AoE blasts, but I won!
>>2863302Yeah. The trick to that fight is to either find a way to survive the surge AoEs or just bind/stun him towards the end.
>>2863309I considered the latter, but I decided to win using the former method as to give the last enemy an appropriate sendoff. It took a mix of Heal Guard, Party MDF+, Battle-cheer and succubus heal, but all were standing at the end.Now I just have to finish of the rest of the postgame.I have to say, Colony's story has been fantastic all the way through.
>>2863275I may be exaggerating a bit but.Area is huuuge. Roads are looong. Points where three or more roads coincide everywhere. It all roooks the same.
This isn't fair.I've met this hag for barely half an hour and she already have some of the best scenes in the entire game.
>>2863311Colony’s story is the peak of this series’ story so far in my opinion. Asylum and kludge have good stories too and have some kino moments, but colony still just has the best overall story.
>>2863187Leave chicken bussy to me.
>>2863319We warned you bro
>>2863322You madfolk actually did, I really hope Olivia will be of the main party in the next Sequel game.

>>2863205>>2863241you forgot the machine gods you dumbass.
brothers, I have fallen, I am downloading kludge, I do not wish to continue my asylum playthrough, perhaps I will return to it for a bit but I really can't bring myself to do it anymore right now, and knowing my reward is just a more arduous postgame... it makes me the opposite of happy
>>2863362They’re not really gods, they’re just weapons of mass destruction. They’re all gone too.
What a nice gesture.I guess it's off to Kludge, unless I go for Asylum next,
>>2863363It’s fine anon, the game isn’t for everyone. What’s important is giving the game a fair shot before stopping.
>>2863366yes but they are still beings above mortals.if the machine gods didnt get krumped hard people would worship them out of pure fear that they might destroy the world.and then they just destroy the world anyways
>>2863363that is okay anon.but do it before the postgame happens.or else you will get :>
>>2863320stupid sexy banana
>>2863368Play Asylum. It introduces you to two plot points that are important for both Kludge and L. Depth.
>>2863368>>2863400Seconding this before a zoomer comes and says "nooo you don't need to play that!!!" because they can't stomach games with a focus on exploration.Asylum is great and it introduces some very important points related to the overarching story.
>>2863405Games with a focus on exploration are good, that doesn't make Asylum not an awful, obvious experiment into that style
>>2863366>They’re all gone too.More like temporarily out for repairs until this nutcase is done with them. The fourth one is also AWOL(and possibly well and alive depending on its properties?)
>>2863405I'm fine with games that encourage exploration, I'm not a fan of games that don't have any maps and thus put the onus on you to somehow build a working memory of all the places you've been and haven't.Even setting that aside I will admit Hakika has the game properly balanced, in such a way that no matter how strong I get every boss feels like a prayer away from unbeatable and after doing all of the distortions and been to the several realms am past the point of enjoying the asylum experience, I'll probably finish it eventually, but I wouldn't call it fun, I'd call it frustrating. Also, I can't quite complain cause it's certainly thematic, but I find Asylum setting/ story wise just very depressing, it's lonely and often feels pointless
>>2863366>>2863413Didn't our resident Lore Chad mention it was destroyed during the Era of Myth? The 4 Mechagods were probably involved with the events of Erra Saga after all.
>>2863366>>2863413>>2863447Alright, so, Digitalavisse which you already fight in Colony's postgame was the 4th Mechagod.I always thought that was a virtual recreation of Aeon's, but that possibility wasn't talked about in past threads, so it was a personal conjecture; the one in Colony is the real deal apparently.
>>2863453The crystals in the mechagod ruins confirm that Digitalavisse is already dead before you even get there. Aeon beat it.
>>2863455So then the one in Colony is a digital recreation like I thought after all? Neat.
>>2863455It's DIGITALavisse. The duplicate may be equal to the original, or even stronger now that it's in the digital world.
Ok, so I just booted up Asylum. The music already slaps. That's a nice touch.
That's strange, her name doesn't translate.Also Booba.
What the heck, I'm in schismaballs still?
>>2863468It has some of the best songs hakika has ever made
>>2863474Uh anon, you messed up something somewhere
I'm starting to suspect that not everything is on the up and up here. Also damn Malice got a BUNCH of skill-trees!
>>2863482I feel like I've seen someone make the same mistake you did somehow with a different game in the series.Did you export something into the wrong game entirely?
>>2863487Considering 3 posts prior, it seems like he imported some Colony data onto Asylum.
>>2863487ABsolutely; I took Colony's .rvdata1 and copypasted it over Asylum's just to check if I could take one game's full-screen functionality over to the other; going by results it seems like that file also contains achievements and the skill-tree data!
>>2863490If you're talking about the fullscreen++ patch, just get the one for Asylum from the bin.
>>2863466No no, Digitalavisse is really just its name. Even in Errasaga it's the same name (デジタラヴィス).
>>2863439Is your memory really that bad that you consider Asylum difficult to navigate?
>>2863498nta, but I have the navigation skills of the average main girl and Asylum was fucking awful to navigate as a result. Didn't help sometimes you walk into an area, instantly get kicked back to base, and then can't remember the path you took to it when you (probably) are ready to challenge it again.
>>2863495Hey I just lost to that asshole in the Simulated world in Colony!
"As long as your heart don't break, the Star's Providence permits your next awakening."Malice has a huge broken heart on her stomach.Shenanigans.
This is actually kinda cute.
>>2863525The heart on her is a reference to one of Hakika's older games, like half his shit really. I don't have the image handy though to post.
I mean, common sense? In my Hakika game!?
>>2863535To be fair, Blight's cast was relatively dressed up in a land full of women, Palgadol is a third world shithole filled with slutty savages, and only Emela as a succubus is particularly slutty in Colony
>>2863498YES, i'm fine with exploration, like the map making from etrian oddyssey was nice, but if your not gonna 1. provide me with a map or 2. provide me with means to make my own somehow in game, I'm generally gonna have a bad time. I'm actually a filthy liar in that I'm still playing asylum right now, despite having just downloaded kludge and finished going through the bottom of karatas, game says i'm about 50% done the events so It's not like I'm not playing the game, but I'm not much enjoying it either
I entered the first tower in Asylum and Malice said she could feel a presence at the top; she's a succubus isn't she?I remember Blight leaning heavily into succubi being natural mana-detectors, with Nyx being an especially attuned one.
>>2863577She's a devil.
>>2863580Is that like a derogatory slang for Succubi? I don't think I've seen devils in any of the other 3 previous games.
>>2863587You can see male devils in a bunch of the other games, blight had a few. Asylum is just the first game to introduce female devils.
>>2863587>>2863589Female devils are similar to succubi, as the game says.
I've been running around randomly, looting and picking up coins, sin-stones and random materials while avoiding and running from all battles. This feels like an actual adventure!
>>2863614From the background, looks like you ended up in Pools of Hatred somehow. That's really funny.
>>2863615I am!I'm not sure level 8 is appropriate, but I'll see how far I'll get!
>>2863616You can loot pretty much everything there while dodging fights. Annoying, but a nice boost at the point you're in the game.
>>2863615I didn't even know you could get there that early then again I don't remember much of asylum
I've found two of these buggers though, one in the woods area and another here.I assume they'll be Event related later?
>>2863626I think you can get there early because Patienties is totally open from the get-go. Then it's just a matter of running through the forest, then the underground of the castle and then you'll be at Pools of Hatred.
>>2863629That describes my trip aptly! The game said "I should'nt explore randomly, in fact I should probably go back."So I put my hand on the leftmost wall and just followed it until I ended up at a strong enemy by the pools.I love open games like that.
Mm... I think the biggest regret I have so far is that I didn't preserve the japanese honorifics for Atline, and haven't so far with Ghost Path either. It probably wouldn't be impossible for me to go comb through what I've done so far, seeing as I've saved all the original text in documents along with their translations, but that would also put me in the awkward situation of not having been consistent because of Atline, which itself would be more of a pain to go back through for honorifics.
I got some neat stuff and 3 sin-stones total now, wish me luck with the mushroom mand and the griffin atop the first tower!
>>2863637Go get 'em soldier.
The big bird wasn't that big a deal anymore. The knife having the ability to attack other characters to give them bonus actions is kinda cool!
>>2863641Yeah, that knife is extremely strong in early game. Also, FYI, you're about to get your third familiar very soon and it is easy to miss that you obtained it. Don't be like me and try to take down the next distortions without making it.
Wait, there was a cutscene about a devil eating the flesh of friends; is that Malice or is it some other devil in the story?Asking because >>2863580
>>2863641honestly one of the best familiar weapons imo
>>2863644You should be able to piece it together after one or two more of those.
>>2863646Wait a minute; Some rich man giving out alms, some village woman tempting people, some dude hating others. The cutscenes are just talking about the Asylum residents, aren't they? The Merchant being the rich man, and Pero being the temptress.
>>2863643You weren't kidding about it being soon!
>>2863652Yeah, I completely missed that it had been handed to me and was wondering why the hell the difficulty felt so high reaching(and getting my ass kicked) by the next two distortions I found.
The team is assembled, but I think I'm calling it here today.I'll entertain you further tomorrow!
I think I'm dumb, I never read the item description of the Atlas of Daydreams until now. Figured I may as well post it for you guys too.
>>2863657>local toothpick midget attempts good deed, fucks everything up
>>2863657Also these. The Illusion weapons in awake mention Framhearth.
>>2863659Yeah, awake has an absolute stupid amount of lore hidden in its equipment.
Asylum spoilersWho the hell is the person for pride supposed to be anyway? Albus?
>>2863671There's two theories1. The dead man who refused to tell anyone his name and treated everyone like crap.2. The adventurer leaving notes.2.5. They're the same person. (Very unlikely)1 is far more likely than 2
There's a fully detailed map of ASYLUM by the way.
>>2863685Used it, I think it sucks. Needs to at least use the zone's tilesets to make them recognizable.
>>2863691You mean the one in the bin?
>>2863676But the text there suggests it was a higher power talking about the Aryaum folk, doesn't it? Also there's what looks like a Star Dragon right in the image there. I think it could be Ino too.
>>2863692Yes. Simple NESW directions are not good enough with how maps wind around and fuck the Temperuant and Patienties areas in particular.
>>2863698Oh I'm talking about one in the jp wiki. It is the most detailed one at the moment. I have a download link if you wanna check it out.
>>2863705I beat the game long ago after eventually giving up and opening up the maps up in an editor and backtracing from locations I wanted to reach.
>>2863707Ah shame, well I do think everyone should give the map a look before trying out ASYLUM, it helps a lot.And when I say a lot I mean A LOT.
>>2863721i've been making due with the area map in the pastebin, it saved me alot of trouble when a character was like "go there" or "look over here"

>>2863885>>2863886okay thanks fellas, My issue is if it's meant to be balanced why not keep things as they were instead of making asylum if it was both unsustainable and unproductive. Additionally it''s kind of ironic that the game seems to only give 2 choices for what it admits isn't a binary, albeit I know there is a route c which as far as I can figure, is just super lewd? like I need 100 promiscuity and to have banged every male npc a dozen times or something? If that's the happy end I'll invest for it but I was honestly enjoying playing a a non lewd run. If this story is important to the lore does it have a canon ending?
>>2863922I'm honestly surprised we haven't gotten an oppai loli scene by now. Yol would have been a pretty good fit. Alternatively make it so Uula or someone else flat and tiny gets tinier, but all the "lost" mass goes to their chest.
>>2863920Only if we finally get Growth Medicine scenes too.
>>2863925The route where you side with Versa is the canon ending. That route also has the most amount of postgame content since it's the only way you can fight the superbosses.
>>2863927There's a shit ton of fetishes that seem obvious to have had by now, but we don't have presumably just because Hackika doesn't like them that muchLike, it took until Kludge to finally get a FFM scene which didn't even have penetration, not counting the Ditto doll scene variants
okay starting kludge, I made it to a cross roads in asylum and I'm leaving it there cause I'm a bitch that's had my fill, see kludge is starting off traditionally with a kicked down door.

Huh. This was cool.I really like the writing in Asylum, like NPCs actually working parallell to you and them also joking about the in-universe rules.
Fascinating to be back in the Pools of Hatrad nearly 8 hours into the game, as opposed to the last time I was here, 1 hour into the game.
>>2864484Damn you're progressing pretty fast
1027 mana.Peculiar number.
The shade was spooky! But ultimately no trouble!
Hmm. Purga Deathlands is a 'dead end' heh.I guess I'll come back here later as Malice hinted to in her text blurb.
Strange, the Visplords seems to have very similar horns to Malice. Neat.
Hmm. I assume I'll have to return to these red Checkmark entities to offer them Traces of the stardragon later?I found one in the pools of Hate too, maybe it's connected to that weird Sindeed rating? (Or Hakika forbid the Promiscuity rating.)
>>2864533You’ll figure it out eventually. Probably.
Time to face machine atop the metal world!
Snek no more.
>>2864589>two familiars deadDid you realize you can just shit bomb his buff away?
>>2864589>Read this as "faith no more"what the fuck
>>2864592I didn't!But thanks for reminding me, I'll keep an eye out in future fights!>>28645933deep5meOK, I'm feeling a bit stuck now that I've cleared out all the distortions for the 5 friendly NPCs.I guess I'll try to clear out the Flesh-eating village again now that I'm a bit stronger. If that's not it I think I'll just make some food and bumble randomly through the starting area in search of missed events and changes in the world!
Forward progress is good progress!
I thought I was on the right track, but it seems I've skipped 10 or so events while going here.
>>2864621ye this game is like that, I don't sweat the events much cause of just how nebulous this game is, you're making quicker progress than I did so more power to you.
>>2864621Go back to right before you entered Flesh eating village and look around.
>>2864629Hey! This isn't a competition; I genuinely enjoy meandering around and stumbling over things!
>>2864630I think I found it!
>>2864640talk to those snowmen, I found it to be a cute interaction, one of the few that exist in the game
>>2864658I did!Snowman Swarm boss!I wonder if the Evil One will appear here.
>>2864685for me it was more so looking at a melted snow man and thinking "brokenhearted snowman" that struck me as cute
is it just me or are the nekonchus in kludge a little more... derpy?
This got a genuine chuckle out of me.I love the new engine.
Quick question; Is it relevant who you stuff your Apples of Growth into?I assume Malice should be prioritized since she's the weakest link, but is there an argument to be made that just shoving them into your favourite DPS puppet is the best way to go?
>>2864734They were like that in colony too, they just barely had any dialogue. They have a ton more dialogue in kludge so it's more pronounced. Same with the nekonchus in Asylum too.
Old friend from Awake spotted?
>>2864743>I love the new engine. Not new at all, it's still RPG Maker VX Ace.
>>2864762Colony*Could be, or could be a different cursed snowman.
Rest in Snails.
I don't think Versa is the good guy here.
Asylum has had a few pretty good scenes so far!
>>2864810Gee Bill, how come Hakika lets you have two Malices?
I love these references. It's so nice that everything ties together, but better sitll is the fact that I personally know a lot of these characters. So I got Sin by eating mystery meat and killing distortions? I assume those are the dudes holding this place together?
>>2864810I like a lot of the scenes in the game, there are a bunch from Lars and Merchant that don't hit the mark though. Still, a lot of them are really good.
Based hakika putting Ino in a nightmare (succubus) outfit
>>2864842What if the final Sequel party will be Log Leg, Stink, Fatty and MT?
>>2864848I hate how the ejaculation VFX literally sounds like someone's suffering from diarrhea in this game.
>>2864851Imagine MT on the actual party roster.
>>2864856Just have him chuck potions'n'shit at the rest of the party.
Miuress army Malice!?
so the recruit able people in kludge, how hard is that limit, cause so far I've loved the one's I've met so far, I'm okay if the cap isn't raisable but I'm just worried it won't let me kick people out i.e. if I recruit the first 5 I meet I'll be unable to recruit the next one I meet despite potentially liking them more
>>2864884You can only recruit 5, just wait until you meet all 10 and pick your 5 favorites.
This was kinda disturbing.Seeing people play dressup.I guess one have to find ways to pass time when you're immortal undead after all.
>>2864890Asylum truly is the Dark Souls of SEQUELS.
>>2864320I may well do a full one as part of my next playthrough, whenever that happens....I'll probably figure out a better way to do it first, though.
>>2864915Found a script that takes screenshots of the full maps, but unfortunately it also shows events that should be invisible.
>>2864926That's no big deal. I'd actually argue it's actually better to be able to see events for all the random maps in the game.
>>2864926You can always just take in-game screenshots and copy/paste the terrain over those bubbles in paint or something. But I think it's fine to leave them.
Looking at the Excel map in the repository, there are two locations marked 'Ino's Red Feather' and I assume it's based on the two locations where there is one whole and one broken tablet saying "The red feather will show the way" or somesuch. Is that postgame content? I'm feeling like the story is drawing towards its inevitable conclusion.
>>2864810The music that plays in Asylum sex scenes is my fav sex ost.
FACT: Malice is actually pretty cute
On paper this looks like a ridiculously strong damage-amp!Can anyone confirm whether it's really good or not?
haha!Lars left out lights for me to traverse the Pools of Hatred, but I've long since cleared the area!
>>2864992Of course it's really good
This is the exact inscription as on the Cleansing waters area in Colony's postgame.Gave me goosebumps, in a good way.Are we underseas, where all the evils in the world are washed away so that the world at large can remain pure? Colony said that the Sin cleaning ritual was bathing in purifying water so that it can pool at the bottom, become sin monsters which in turn can be defeated to 'dispel' evil.
Wait, so right to left takes me to the Mausoleum, but just going in the middle gives me a hidden room? I'll have to check!
Waitaminute, I've seen you people post this rat!

hakika posted a ci-en post earlier, I just noticedhttps://ci-en.dlsite.com/creator/1121/article/747924It's just a summary of what he's doing in December. He's going to post an article about succubi. He also said progress for Innocent Rules is going well. He'll make a post about his schedule for next year at the end of December. Here's hoping he mentions that Atline remake...
I'm about to be gaslit, aren't I?
>>2865123No, she just tells you the truth
>>2865123Huh. surprisingly The worldending calamity is just a straightforward honest being.
>>2865126They'll both be my wives.
This confuses the Star Dragon.
That was a fascinating true-ending.I guess it's the postgame now?
>>2865151That's the trigger for End C.
>>2865151>>2865161The only thing you need to do the "rape Ino" ending for is the h-scenes. Otherwise you should side with Versa because you get access to the superbosses of the game. Yes, the game has unique postgame stuff depending on what ending you picked. The bin lists exactly what.
Lewd end is canon and you can't convince me otherwise.Lalala, not listening.
>>2865172Ah, I'm just running blind as much as possible these games. Though I'm using the Bin map as advised. It was a funny option, so I took it, simple as.
I have to say, this is almost Colony level storytelling.
I'm not crying, you're crying.
okay currently getting my butt beat by the 3 headed dog in kludge, a knight told me not to fight with it directly, but play with it when it's being playful, my question is what count's as playful? guarding?
>>2865247I'm in Asylum's postgame right now, so I haven't gotten that far yet, but my instincts tell me that you're supposed to only attack it on turns it's feeling playful and guard when it's not.
>>2865247There's a special command during battle, just spam that
Hmm. In the middle of Asylum's postgame. All of the distortions are back with a vengeance and they're all collectively kicking my ass.I'm going to have to actually tailor my build around each and every one of these nutters, aren't I?
>>2865284I am considering promoting my healer familiar to a tank familiar, because the healing familiar doesn't -do- anything outside of using that one early-game dagger to give malice multiple turns, and items have effectively replaced his functionality, where Ultimates, Energy jellies and Mana Elixirs fill most of his roles.Having at least 1 offensive type familiar is a good idea right? Having a configuration where Malice takes a double-takedown turn overlapping both Queen egg (+50%), Str+ (20%), Aggrevate (+25%) and Burn (+25%) seems really cool on paper, but I'm not sure if just running 3 tanks and a defensive Malice is better in terms of consistency and survivalbility.
>>2865299I didn't do postgame bosses without cheating, but at a point I just ran 2/3 dps to kill shit faster.
>>2865310I like the way you think Anon.
>>2865299I ran one of each for some of the game, and switched to one attacker, two tanks when the expanded skill trees became available. I focused Malice on damage-dealing too, and that worked well for me. also hi ligmabro
>>2865284>I'm going to have to actually tailor my build around each and every one of these nutters, aren't I?Yeah. But there's an easier way to get stronger. Just do Aryaum Mirage Grotto.
>>2865123Versa's a good girl!
Going for that ending B in L.Depth and the red lights are breaking me
>>2865367See https://sanpingame.x.fc2.com/doujin/l_depth/bad-route.html if you need help. The hitbox of the red lights is like pic related, so walking diagonally around them is actually safer.
>>2864902There are no Skeleton girls so it couldnt be dark souls!
Earlier today people further up said Malice was a devil, but the story is laid out like she was the kidnapped innocent woman from the past/nightmare. There is a bunch of circumstancial evidence linking this, from the adventurer's sin telling us about the kidnapping, to the kidnapper boss holding the demonic rituals to the devil itself being human-esque and portrayed as defect, bleeding and crying while being bound and shackles. There is also the companion telling us that everything being shown is important, as less important details are simply omitted from the dreamworld. But this is all very circumstancial, is there any explicit link here or are we supposed to just read between the lines here?
>>2864926AAAAAAAAH SO MANY VERSAS AAAAAA
>>2865375Oh this is ridiculous... Thanks for showing this but I don't know how much help it'll be
>>2865398Well the hardest part by far is this room, expect to spend most of your time here. The rest is actually really easy. For the alternating light parts later on, you just move to wherever the next light is, since those are the safe spots.
>>2865247Taunt it with Yubeil on turn 1 and then use the new special command that pops up on her every turn
>>2865410Yeah, I got to the last section after those two fast ones but failed there and now I can't get back there. Really sadistic. Close to giving up on this ending
>>2865375>>2865410>Received a g4m3r keyboard last christmas that had diagonal arrow keyThis might've been the only actual, practical use I ever got out of it.
>>2865434Ok yeah, I've given up. It's almost 2am so miss Pearledge wins
>>2865434>>2865443Well if you need help there's also a speedrun video of it. https://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm40644537 skip to like the 10 minutes mark
>>2865203In case you weren’t aware, Asylum is generally praised for its story, the only problem is it’s really backloaded. There’s next to zero story in the entire game, it’s all at the end and in the postgame.
First, we take a globo...
THE GLOBO BUT STRAIGHT!
How do i get the monster slime scene in wet ruins? Also, is there anything in mana-barren grounds? I'm tempted to scour it but the area's large as hell.
>>2865569I think the slime scene was just north of the entrance of Wet Ruins. Wet Ruins is on the northeast end of Estai Wetlands by the way. If you can’t go in there, you need to go back and do the Faltoga event from Fake-Rabi and then the other one from Aurum Base. And yeah, Mana Barren Grounds has a few items, there’s a map here.
>>2865581>no entrance to the beachsovlless
>>2863129I'm not gay but Fake-Rabi...

>>2865644I'd settle for Auris Olivia oyakdon too.
>>2865661I want Auris to please Manatank by using Olivia's throat as a foldy-hole!
>>2865504>Asylum is generally praised for its storyNot really. I think you are the first Anon to ever directly state it's good in the first place.People just goes "It's bad, but by the end, it picks up"
>>2865725not that guy and I think the story is pretty good, better than kludge or awake at least.
>>2865725Not that anon but I too loved the story. Its a short and sweet story about a limbo analogy and finally get to perk behind the curtains was very satisfying. But I loved the game all the way throught though. I easily think Asylum was a better experience than both Blight and Awake for different reasons, despite having an arguable weak cast and a lot of meh scenes.
>>2865755>better than kludge or awake at least.Poor bar.>>2865786I disagree, and would never call it short or sweet, but I heavily respect your opinion.Someone who admit at least some of iit's shortcomings deserves love and respect.
>>2865454Well thanks for showing that. I definitely know that it's not worth it now. Time to get that third ending
>>2865711When are we getting a scene where a girl shoves a foldy-hole inside herself and makes Mana Tank fuck it?
>>2865900Honestly I don’t know if that would happen, but we might get something like Dita’s 5th scene where the tip is just inserted, except a foldy fold is used instead of just her hand.
Day 65Huh, seems like the light element acts as a pathway between heaven and earth. And apart from being able to manipulate time, it can also resurrect the dead, maybe.Wait so you can revive people in Raevin, and the person in charge of Raevin is
>>2865980>PrirodaWas funny seeing this in my first playthrough since Příroda means Nature in Czech.
>>2866030Isn’t “Tjuerma” really close to the Russian word for prison too?
>>2866124Wait for April Fools next year
>>2865980Oh, so that's why that one dragon in Awake is Light element.
>>2865786I actually think I did enjoy Asylum more than blight too, it’s a weird feeling. Blight just kinda bored me for a lot of its runtime. Especially the godawful main story.
>>2865940So a super tight one like Dita's?
>>2866210You must have killed yourself during awake and kludge.
>>2866222calm down anon its just a hentai game with chibi women
>>2866124Why would you want to date frog's wife?
>>2866227Anon, I was using that image to show how unlikely getting the dating sim would be, enough that I would pray for it.Not implying that Emela is the first one I would date.
>>2866222Nope. Awake and kludge’s main stories were fine for me. Awake’s best part was the first half before you get the full party, then it went downhill. At least it wasn’t very sotry heavy from that point onward though.Kludge was weird for me. I was kinda disinterested in it until after the Skyrail part, then I was hooked.
>>2866248>>2866210As I just completed Asylums pregame and the start of its postgame start to finish yesterday I have to say my favourite part was the story and the interconnected world.A semi-true fully open world where you're free to legitimately explore at your convenience and go on an actual adventure, as opposed to the other games' "safely on the story rails" experience. It just filled a gap I didn't knew I had coming from the 3 sequel games before it, and now I just want -more- Asylumesque exploration.I fully understand a lot of people's grievances with the game, from having a lot of sloppy scenes, characters you barely interact with outside of sex-scenes and a world with few things to touch for funny prompts; but the exploration is fantastic, the freedom is exhilarating and the story very neatly wrapped up in minutes in the post-game, laying out all the secrets and backstory neatly in a somewhat heartwrenching manner. It didn't reach the emotional impact of Colony by any means but it had me so much more invested than either Blight or Awake where I were mostly just going through the motions. Blight's best part IMO was the postgame in its entirety and Awake's best part was in my opinion up until you dumped your entire party just to make room for a new one (at which point the story just kinda plodded on a set of boring rails until it's conclusion) and a honrable mention to introducing the concept of Out of Awareness which actually made me legitimately interested until they just reduced it to sciencemagic invisibility/memory-erasure.I still understand why people hate Asylum's pools of hate, but I managed to navigate the entire thing at level 8 an hour into the game by following the wall, so it wasn't THAT bad.If Hakika's next SEQUEL game is just Asylum but better I'll squee like a fangirl on convention-night.
>>2866293I might have a hot take, actually this is most certainly a hot take, but I do think Blight had the best main story out of all the games so far except for maybe Colony, and its post game hasn't been matched by anything yet. I don't know how to explain it, but by the time I actually finished the main story final boss, it just made me feel something that no other game in the series made me feel. Just seeing the final boss deteriorate for the sake of a lost past and a dream that would never come true was pretty amazing to finish off.I didn't mind Awake all that much, but the most interesting parts were definitely with the Outside. Eggman was ridiculous in an amusing way at least. Colony was overall a great experience. Asylum was similar to Awake in that it didn't get interesting until the main plot started filtering in near the end, but it did splice things up with the exploration. Kludge was okay.
>>2866421>Just seeing the final boss deteriorate for the sake of a lost past and a dream that would never come true was pretty amazing to finish off.I know the feeling you speak off. I might have came across as a bit harsh, but this fight made me feel things.
>>2866421>I don't know how to explain it, but by the time I actually finished the main story final boss, it just made me feel something that no other game in the series made me feel.NTA, but I definitely felt like winning against Durom was a huge victory. The problem is that it dawned on me right after that it was a worthless victory because the story up to that point is tremendously bland.Durom himself only becomes a threat in the last 30 minutes of story or so. It's a terrible final boss.I definitely want to replay the main games before Innocent Dreams. Maybe I'm just misremembering and there's more to it than I was able to see back when I played it in 2020.
>>2866433I agree with this anon. Blight's main story only started getting good at all in the 6th chapter.

k it's a little past 3 in the morning, I'm trying to get all of Dita's scenes but for some reason I can't seem to trigger "cause you left the door open" gave her the lmiter and we 5/5 for the intimacy, it says it triggers in saka but I've gone all over and spent time with her and nothing, what am I missing?
>>2866977It's in the toilet
>>2866973There is a mimic girl in that gives you a quest to kill a moth in the green castle, you need the allkey to enter I think. You find a trace of the Star Dragon there too. When the moth is dead she'll tell you that she only sent you there to prove shes the best monster. She refuses to elaborate on ehat happened to the previous inhabitants of the castle and you get the choice of pressuring her to talk or let the issue pass.Choosing the former gets her killed and you get a +10% exp accessory, the latter lets her live to complete the mimic chest quest.

I wonder if we'll ever get that trapge Hakika said he was interested in making.
Is Hackika ever going back to cute, comfy adventures, or is it all going to be serious and dark all the time from now on? I miss Blight and Awake so much.
>>2867438Blight and Awake had some fairly serious tones to them, it just wasn't "everything is bad all the time," there was room for fun romping around betwixt chunks of story. Ino's story looks like it might be a bit light-hearted with serious undertones.
>>2867446I mainly ask for it, because the banter and interaction with the between the cast, which is my favorite part about sequel, happens almost entirely in the light hearted sections, which have were very scarce in Kludge, Colony, and Asylum outside the h scenes.
>>2867438Innocent Rules is going to be a comfy adventure and not so serious. Hakika already said that.
>>2867403We’re not getting a full trapge, but being able to play as a femboy is as good as it’s gonna get.
