>Coming out Nov 11 2021>First singleplayer RPG from Bethesda>The game between us and TES 6 What do you think of it?
I will pirate it day one and then will probably be disappointed by it.
GOTY 2022, sorry Elden ring.
I think it's going to have to wait a while until I upgrade to a newer computer.
>>2269818I don't know how it'll play, but I think it'll be great. Bethesda has nailed the tone.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NT7khMO9lKM
>>2269818Nothing until I see some gameplay.
>>2269818Space setting should have ayy races in them and starfield looks like it's gonna be mostly human only which is extremely homosexual
>>2269818It will be Bethesda's Syberpunk 2077.
>>2269818it will be Skyrim with lasers.and it didnt come out last week either faggit, its 2022.
>>2269842Bethesdas engines barely push the limits of a potato PC, you'll be fine.
>>2269818>>First singleplayer RPG from Bethesdathis is a contender for dumbest comment of the decade.
>>2270276Starfield will be built to run on a Series X hardware which means your PC should have at least equivalent specs.
>>2270300>believing Todds lie #284look at the gameplay video for Starfield you sperg, its the Fallout engine with a minor paintjob
Excited for the collective melty from rightoids over pronoun selection. Game itself will probably be alright.
>>2270306You must be an insider because there literally hasn't been any gameplay shown yet
>>2270306Um... yeah it's got full geometric shapes for each button, very high resolution textures, very complex lighting effects, and even reflections. Regardless of whether you were impressed, it'll clearly require a lot of horsepower to run.
>>2269818>comes out 2021>first singleplayer RPG from Bethesda>What do you think of it?I think you're very confused, OP.
>you can pick your pronounsInto the trash it goes
>>2270308>People have principles and don't betray them I know it's hard to grasp, tranny
>>2270342>anchoring your principles around a component of English grammarKeep plugging away at the pinkos, son, the West will surely rise again.
>>2269818Hope the coomer modders embrace it, without that the setting doesn't interest me.
It will be delayed till late 2023
>>2270050>SpacePunk 3077>StarPunk 3077>ToddPunk 111169can't come up with anything interesting
>>2270524Good. I can't stand unfinished releases.
>>2270935Oh, it will still be unfinished.
Will probably have a BS voiced protagonist and only humans as a playable race.
>>2270045Eh, I don't agree. You can do a pretty good space stuff without ayys. I'm personally more a fan of hard science fiction than shit like Star Wars.
>>2271257>and only humans as a playable race.Based. I'm tired of united colors of benneton aliens in fiction. And you know Bethesda won't make different skeletons for PC because they stopped doing that for the beast races in TES.
>>2270352>tranny>commiePoetry. Don't worry, when your suicide grave gets discovered they'll note you were clearly male based on the skeleton.
the AAA market is dead. Starfield has the chance to revive it, or it will be the final nail in the coffin. no pressure Todd.
>>2274467>November 11, 2022>Starfield releases>It's the best sci-fi RPG of all timeTodd Howard saves the gaming industry once again
>>2269818If the best thing Todd has to say about his new engine is fucking pronouns (btw even tranny Skyrim modders can make that shit on the older engine) then this game is gonna be absolutely garbage and the culmination of Todd huffing his own farts for too long.
>>2272086Well you're a lower faggot hooman that's still hasn't broken the conditioning, so your opinions on space is retarded, limited, and boring.
Unironically the last hope at reviving AAA rpgsif this fails we're stuck with isometric shit forever
>>2269907>Bethesda has nailed the tone. This, so much this.
I am more interested at the kind of DRM and monetization they will put into this as that will set the standard for future games. I'm pretty close to putting Bethesda on my shitlist and call it done.
I need space games in my life, I don't care if they're Todd products.
>>2269818If the gameplay was any good we would have seen it by now
>>2276498Are all of these pics from the expanse? I have been thinking of watching that show
>>2276650Yes, seasons 1 to 3 are hands down the best scifi I've seen in years. After that it ended under amazon management and went downhill, season 5 is barely watchable.
>>2276650Show peaks at Season 2 ep 5. The spaceship pilot is kino during every appearance, however.
>>2270050fallout 76 doesnt count?
>>2269818I'm betting it'll be boring and severely lacking in content with filler random gen to fill in the gaps.I'd love to be wrong but I'm guessing it won't even be worth a pirate considering bethesda doesn't seem capable of making games worth playing.
>>2270300>series X hardwareThat's barely mid range desktop today.
>>2272086Star Wars has aliens in it. Wookies, sand-people, Jabba the hut.
>>2270367Can't wait for someone to make a pleasure planet.
>>2276667>S4>not kinogas belters
>>2276987That's all fine and good until you realize you actually have to suffer through belter nagging
>>2276731The show is carried by Miller, it not only peaks in the middle of the second season, you might as well finish watching the show after the events of the first book wrap up.no ghost Miller doesn't count it's some lame-ass blueballing
>barely shows anything>people even give a shit to talk about the gameFuck I hate people. Call me when there's gameplay. Why do people get hyped over literally nothing?
>>2276969>You can do a pretty good space stuff without ayys. >I'm personally more a fan of hard science fiction than shit like Star Wars.Read it again dumb dumb, he's saying star wars is shit, he likes gay lifeless space settings.
>>2269818It is going to be a glorified Fallout 4's total conversion, isn't it?
>>2278118why even asking?
>>2278118It is Skyrim in space. Take notes. Fallout 4 is B team, Starfield and TES are A team.
>>2278152>are A team.
>>2277477>Why do people get hyped over literally nothing?World tone. Too much media feels like over-designed "le epic" crap even if it plays well. Bethesda are the masters of tone and Starfield hits hard in that regard.
>>2269818The disguised hands of Todd Howard typed this post.
>>2276783Games that rely so much on hype are usually compesating for something. I'm 100% sure this'll be Fallout 4 in space, and just as devoid of any actual role-playing. The upshot is that they might actually invest in space exploration, and that may turn out to be fun. >>2270300Series S*, which if I remember correctly barely stacked up against a 1070. I'm pretty sure this game will be pretty well optimized, the whole covid situation has pushed companies to invest in cross-gen development, and I'm sure this title will be pretty adaptable to last-gen PC hardware.
>>2278997>Series SHas the same processor and memory of the Series X if I recall which will determine the mechanical scope of the game.
>>2269818Call me when they start using normal and relevant engine which supports trains and ladders.
>>2279054Anon, you have to let go of the idea that you’ll have killer apps in the first few years of the console life. It isn’t the 2000’s anymore, and because the PS5 and SeX are so hard to find most companies won’t dare let that eat into their profit, which is why even games like GT7 are coming to older consoles. I expect that by the 3rd or 4th year we’ll see some real next-gen stuff.
>>2280240The head of Xbox marketing, Aaron Greenberg, has already confirmed that Starfield is exclusive to the Series S|X and PC. Like Todd said, Starfield is intended to be the first properly next gen experience. Honestly, that was probably a motivation for the Microsoft buyout and rumored PS5 exclusive negotiations. Bethesda is unwilling to compromise Starfield for last gen consoles but they needed some way to make up the sales differential.>because the PS5 and SeX are so hard to find most companies won’t dare let that eat into their profitI think it's pretty easy to get a Series S and Microsoft can also advertise Remote Play to anyone that doesn't have a new console.
>>2276650It's a good show. It's cool to see some hard sci-fi for a change.
>>2270324>>2276484Only two posts worth noting in this thread.
