Did you know?A unicorn's horn is actually a sexual organ.
>>1774964Lets be honest here we all think the Lion is the best path
most of the fights are real kino but the bullshit "let me attack 5 times in one turn with shit that hits 10 times each" and the "i'm going to one shot you that you can only prevent with this specific thing good luck figuring what it is lmao" that keeps happening really takes away from the new stuff
Be strong anons

>>1774975>Forced to go through the snowfield to get raped by invisible horsesThat's debatable

>>1774979This, I know it was pretty much the only way to make challenging fights after how strong you get after beating Chaos Dungeon, but still>Organic Death Ray
>>1774985>>1774975Does Lion also betray you? I didn't like Unicorn until I broke her, and I really hope that both aren't massive cunts. Also thought that you'd get covenants from the two
>>1774979Hopefully BS3 won't be such bullshit gameplaywise.
>>1774979I agree, it sucks the fun out of the experience. It’s just trial and error the entire way through the DLC. The messages outside each boss can only help so much.
>>1775001Lion doesn't betray you. You can even protect her so Mabel doesn't kill her
>>1775001Play her route and find out then my dudeHer scenes are also great
>>1775012Fuck the messages>message outside Lindamea says "try break to dispel the immunity" or something like that>third phase neither break nor dispell works>you have to either pray you get the last hit when the invindibility runs out or just time requiem for it
>>1774964Unis is made for breaking
>>1774999>Organic Death RayI didn't mind the other bosses, but maybe that's because I picked Unicorn, seems a lot of anons struggle with her fight.

>>1775033In Winterbell, if you watch the teddy flashbacks, you would find out that Jubjub(Little Sister Alice) visited Mabel. Their talk revealed that Jubjub might have fallen for Grimm but Jubjub denies that while running away. Can't show the pics since I overwrote the save and you can't rewatch teddy flashbacks once you've seen them.
>>1775033My speculation is Jubjub/Imouto Alice developed her own will and truly fell in love with you and wishes to free you like what Node wants. The other Alices are still part of the collective TCO and wants to keep you in Wonderland
>>1775047>>1775051okay that makes sense, i thought the Alice silhouette from the flashback was Red in her Alice formstill kinda retarded though

>>1775059>>1775047>>1775051I honestly think its all of these. We already know that other Great Ones started ditching TCOs autistic play.
>>1775064Jubjub still didnt do nothing wrong if that is the case.
>>1775064If you can explain what they are aside from the obvious three then go ahead.
Jub being sister Alice comes out of nowhere and makes no sense. Seems like EMMM was desperate to redeem her somehow.
>>1775076>The Alices are other great ones apart of the play>They start getting tired of TCO bullshit and taking turns being loved by Grimm>Nightmare Jannys come to clean up>They kill the Alices for free/spoiler]
>>1775077That's because she isn't. Is it that hard to understand that Alices were not, in fact, nightmares?
>>1775082 it would explain why their true forms look like different old ones
>>1775089Yeah, Jabberwock and the mother both have very different forms and although we don't see the other nightmare's forms, most of the Great Ones have an appearance with a trait of their character. Like Bill being a lizard thing and Dodo being a bird.
>>1775082I'd raise an issue on the clean up thing. With how EMMM splatters blood to indicate death like nothing, the Alices should have been splattered as well. It wouldn't make sense to make some kind of translucent sprites of Jub Bander and Jobber appear along side each Alices without showing actually something happening.
>>1775082It wont be the last we see the nightmaresMaybe then we will know the truth only one of them cant be redeemed
just played red hood's game before heading into BS2 and damn i thought the reason why she didn't feel anything was because she was born frigid, turns out its because of her fucking grandfather i feel even worse for her now she also fucks dogs, which is really fucking weird
>>1775064Evidence towards them being the same:>when they appear behind the Alices, they're translucent which is hard to explain any other way.Evidence against:>Mother Alice has a solid Great One identity which isn't the same as Jabberwock's>all the other nightmares have totally different 0 SEN battle sprites to the Alices>no other Great Ones play multiple roles>in ending G, the three Alices show up after you finish killing the three nightmaresSo I agree they're different but have no idea how to explain their translucency.
>>1775115Fucks old men and dogs what a freak! imagine if she had kids disgusting
>>1775119Bandersnatch, JubJub and Jabberwock.
>>1775118There's an infodump in Winterbell that actually explains that the one of the first Great One to ditch TCO was the one for Mother Alice.

>>1774452Did you ever consider what the nature of an undead is? The only undeads we have are Grimm, a creation of the Outer Ones, Hatter, who is an Outer One in reality, and the corpse eaters, who are created by imbibing star fluid. What do you think Lindy must be then?

>>1775158Carnacki posting is something I hope we never abandon.
>>1775140I think ending G is still a breaking of the cycle but GG causes a rewind afterwards. Because GG has Mary's power, it should function as the Mary Sue of the play and be basically omnipotent within it's Garden. Dina's book analogy explains it the best I think and is why I would equate killing GG to destroying the book so that no more cycles could be repeated and ending the story for good.
Do you think there's anyone out there who actually disables the floor messages when they play? Imagine how much that person misses out on, why would EMMM even give that option?
>>1775140>A to G are part of the cyclesSure, but saying that this is the one and only time a dead character revives in the same cycle is a suspiciously-convenient argument. You obviously need it to explain how e.g. you can kill the nightmares before fighting GG and they'll still show up in that cutscene, but claiming they'd do it in normal cycles is suspicious. And Jabber loses the plot a bit in ending G anyway. You can't tell me that's all her role.>Jabberwock shows multiple great one forms in F/GSo she can have a third just fine? And what about the other two? Jabber's outer one form is still a bird, but imouto Alice's isn't anything like that. Contrariwise, both of Jabber's forms thematically fit her (but not Mother Alice's).
Can some jap speaker just ask EMMM this fucking nightmare = alice bullshit so we stop arguing about it every thread?
>>1775166Good to know.
>>1775176He'll just avoid answering or give us a vague answer
>>1775176i don't think he would answer it anyway
JUBJUB IS ACTUALLY DODO IT MAKES SENSE THEY ARE BIRDS GOOSE IS ACTUALLY LEAF AAAAA
>>1775176If I recall correctly Jubjub got a moderate popularity increase in the post DLC3 vote so we probably aren't the only ones arguing anyway. And it's not like it matters if we get a answer or not, We're still having fun right?
If you could consider the Alice forms having a different boss forms of their own, and the nightmares who play as their actors also have a different boss forms of their own. Does that make some kind of sense?
Which alice would you fuck? This isnt limited to black souls
>>1775199Jabby definitely has a thing for acting as a mommy too

>before fighting GG you wake up in Dormouse's jail cellS T A R
>>1775130Do you have a crippling bestiality fetish and low self-esteem?
>>1775219This is why I believe the Alices are related to the Nightmares. Jabber suddenly refers to herself as mommy when usually she refers to herself as big sis. I'ts also notable that the one appearing behind mother Alice at the H end is Jabber
holy shit the jump in quality of BS1/red hood to BS2 is insane, i just started and everything feels better somehow, also fucking invasion and hollow mechanics? what the fuck, this will do until we get elden ring
>>1775228What does it mean?
>>1775196>the post DLC3 voteYeah, Jubjub went from 2,5% to 7,6%But more amazing is imouto Alice herself, went from 0,4% to an amazing 17,6%
>>1775234There's also the issue of Great Ones being so into their roles that they start losing it.
>>1775130She didn't, though

>>1775236Enjoy it anon. And try to keep spoiler free, BS2 has lots of content.
>>1775199I think the only Great Ones that change to very different forms are Mary and GG who both have the same power. For Jobberwock to have two dragon forms and a moose form just doesn't make much sense. especially when that moose form is linked to another Great One with connections to Nyarlathotep. Also as another anon said, no actor plays two roles.

>>1775286She is, she even tries to keep you to herself when you try to rape her and lose, only for TCO to void her.
>>1775286Jobber's whole thing is cultivating and creating the perfect Black Soul. She also manipulated Mary into becoming a monster. She was also watching Grimm and Mary the whole time in BS1.
Q. Remove horror parts.A. I'm sorry if it scared you, you're completely right. It's the creator's bad taste. Please find the ability to compromise in your generous heart. Before I replay the first game, was there some bullshit with having to find the run skill too or did you have it out of the box? Also, the skill that made you invisible was somewhere east on the farm right? Behind the animals boss?
>>1775717the run skill comes from the dodo covenant. the invisible skill is near the elevator between the market and the fuming forest, iirc
>>1775717You can run from the start. Maybe you are thinking about the mount for the desert?
>>1775234This is correct. The Great One who plays Jabberwock actually plays 2 characters and is losing herself in the role of Mother Alice. This is why she has this talk with you before the door and calls them "old memories" that you should ignore, almost as is she's embarrassed to have fucked up her role as Jabberwock. This also explains why she was willing to lay down her life fighting JubJub at the end to keep (You). She was so lost in the role of mother Alice that the entire creator arc of ending G is being suppressed. I'm not sure I fully like this though as it requires you to think of the Great One playing Jabberwock to be a lot less mentally stable than was hinted at in ending G and kind of undermines her arc.
>>1775728>mountWas there something like that? Last time I played was a long time ago. I just want to avoid the tedious parts, that is being able to sprint past the random encounters.>>1775724I asked about black souls I
>>1775705That's what trips me up, I can't think of any references or interactions regarding them but it fits the dialogue of both.>>1775717You could always run in BS1, but you don't get a Dodo-like skill in it from what I remember. Best you get is the desert Fluffy I believe.
>>1775733It's the fluffy you give milk to.
Lizard butte or white rabbit titums?
>>1775732>I'm not sure I fully like this though as it requires you to think of the Great One playing Jabberwock to be a lot less mentally stable than was hinted at in ending G and kind of undermines her arc.It makes sense to me. Look at TCO larping as a little girl when they were one of the biggest motherfuckers on the block back in the day. I'd say it's handled a bit roughly though.
Anyone's got the BS I fullscreen patch?
>>1775717Yeah, "HIdden Body" spell is in a house with Bremen.
>>1775759>Look at TCO larping as a little girl when they were one of the biggest motherfuckers on the block back in the day. This was my initial thought as well but it requires you to assume that there were a lot of cycles between ending G and ending H when most playthroughs will only have the one cycle between the 2. She has no time to lose herself in the role to such a degree that it suppresses the urge to be a creator. TCO is batshit insane and has never been shown as anything but throughout our cycles so it works there.
>>1775770I use IntegerScaler to stretch RPG Maker games and Elona.
>>1775774>but it requires you to assume that there were a lot of cycles between ending G and ending HPretty sure that's actually canon, given the game starts deep into the cycles and the 100 SEN Red meeting exists already without (You) seeing G personally.
So is this Pricket? I think I remember that later on you meet a doll that replaced the original teaparty Alice (who I think was Prickett), but then what is the new doll? Also, why was Prickett "disowned" again?

>>1775794Prickett/TCO was 01, anon. She was "killed" after Prayer Master summoned Mary into Wonderland.

>>1775804>Prickett/TCO was 01, anon.I know that Prickett was 01 though.
Who made the original wonderland where Prickett, Prayer Master and Grimm/Lewis lived?
Oh right, I forgot suffering was high from the very beginning>>1775794So the Alice you see at the start of the game is Prickett, aka Alice 01 the one you see later is a doll made by TCO, also known as Alice 02, and the doll you see in bs2 is... Alice 02? GG pretending to be the Alice 02 doll?
>>1775816Prickett/TCO, with Prickett being the face for the collective at the time I believe. Don't quote me on that though.
>>1775813I'm retarded. I thought you were referring to 02 being Prickett when I looked at the image. Apologies.
>>1775787I don't see any indication there are multiple cycles between G and H endings. In fact Nodes book should make it 100% confirmed that it follows the number of NG+ you do since G ending. I know it starts you at like 67 cycles in but if Jabberwock is sane enough to have a villain musing in ending G at 68 cycles in and then so lost in the role of Mother Alice that she is willing to die fighting to keep Grimm to herself by cycle 69 it gives no time for her to develop this impairment that robs her of her base self.
why are you guys saying that prickett and TCO are one in the same? i don't follow, lore dump me pleasu
>>1775825I think that its also important to note that TCO has been LARPing as Alice since before Grimm was created and that not enough time would have passed for any of the other Alices to go that insane.
Retard squad here, our attempt to get through DLC3 shall begin in a few days, but first we want to share our predictions for what we think will happen in the DLC.What we want to happen:Grimm genocides all the "girls"/his eldritch abomination childrenPrickett/TCO, Daughter/Sister/Mother Alices, Jub Jub, Bandersnatch, Cheshire Cat and most of all Node, Jabberwock and L*af meet a fate worse than death, suffering for eternityMiranda, Red, Vernai, Hein survive and escape with GrimmBS1 characters able to be brought back to lifeGrimm fucks both Baphomet and Mabel before sending Leaf to be eternally cock and ball tortured to mega cuck herWe manage to figure out a single percent of what's going on ourselvesWe don't spend 17 hours wiping on bossesWe manage to thoroughly explore everywhere and talk to all new NPCsWhat we think will actually happen:Grimm's kids get away with being complicit in the cycles with little to no consequencePrickett/TCO, Daughter/Sister/Mother Alices and Jabberwock get defeated only to have the even worse Leaf take their position of powerCheshire Cat, Node, Bandersnatch, Jub Jub pull some we really loved you bullshit by helping us ever so slightly then fuck off being entirely unpunished for their actionsMiranda, Red, Vernai and Hein all dieGrimm escapes Wonderland only to be dragged into L*af's gardenL*af burns the books of all the BS1 characters perma killing themMabel turns out to have only have helped us for her own schemes then tries to gank usWe have zero clue what's going onWe die hundreds of times then just farm souls after giving up on doing any fights properlyWe accidentally miss 80% of the contentWe've seen tons of black bars and people saying they can't get through some boss fights, so we figure we have no chance whatsoever of understanding the lore or the boss fights.
>>1775821Alice 02 explicitly says she was created by Alice 01, so I'd assume it's Prickett that made her. As for what she is exactly I think it's exactly what she looks like, a doll/puppet constructed by Prickett. BS2 Doll Alice is Grand Guignol and I don't think it has any real relation to the 02 from BS1, at least from what I can immediately remember (GG was explicitly created after the events of BS1).
>>1775852The way I see it, GG is basically Alice 02 with Leaf's creation powers sealed inside it.
>>1775841>We have zero clue what's going on>We die hundreds of times then just farm souls after giving up on doing any fights properly>We accidentally miss 80% of the contentI have a prediction for you retards with these. You're probably right, also raw stats aren't going to help as much as you think due to new DLC combat quirks.
>>1775836I'm okay with the actors playing the Alices and Madnesses to have gone insane and become lost in their Alice roles. I just think it needs time to establish a slow decent. Jabberwock has no signs of being Mother Alice before DLC3 cycle, we get one line before we enter the DLC and then a self sacrifice in the name of a motherly need for dick. It feels like her character was sacrificed in the name of JubJubs arc.
How bad was 9 in the first game? Was it ng+ only or can you still power through fine as long as you know that leaf is pretty darn op?
>>1775825I think you're placing too much stock in what (You) see regarding the cycles rather than what Grimm and the actors themselves would see in the cycles. The non-H endings have definitely happened before, and multiple times at that. I'd agree that all of that needed more time to properly develop though, even if it makes sense given the stated reasoning it feels rushed from the player perspective.
>>1775856I suppose that's possible, it'd also work as a nice double meaning (Alice 01 makes Alice 02, Red Queen helps to make GG). It'd be a bit strange as to how it got there but it's GG, I'm sure it can handwave a reason.
>>1775857>I have a prediction for you retards with these. You're probably right, also raw stats aren't going to help as much as you think due to new DLC combat quirks.Well fuck, guess we're gonna spend even longer than we thought wiping on the bosses. We couldn't even figure out that you can kill the Old King of Chess's reflections by gun breaking them.
>>1775882Peace....Holy forest was so comfy
>>1775887Yeah, you're boned. DLC 3 expects the player to know how the combat system works and to constantly adjust their gear. Even regular enemies are prone to raping you if you don't treat them like threats.
>>1775882Holy Forest... Home...
>>1775893Guess it's time to buy Rabbit Watches in bulk then.
>>1775909Watches won't save you from everything. You can have your items disabled.
>>1775909That's a funny joke.
I don't often get that invested in characters anymore but I felt a bit moved at the dead Red scene.
>>1775841I can tell you right now a lot of your assumptions are flat out wrong, so you guys are in for a true surprise. My advice for all the Nodehaters: there will be lots of saltDLC3 is actually kinda short, but it makes up for it massively by being KINO and forcing the player to actually strategize. No more ungabungas. Sure you can still cheese but there are some limitations. Minimum recommended to begin: 10k in all stats, and you had better learned all the skills in the game pre-DLC3Also some free advice: There's basically zero content for a SEN 0 run in DLC3,so don't worry about missing something behind low SEN, just keep it above 30. Also prepare to shit brix.DLC3 is it's own contained thing, so you don't need to worry about your current cycle's progress and all that
>>1775869I never tried power leveling at the beginning.I can't remember enemies or bosses becoming troublesome with difficulty, except for those two Cinderella's knights chucklefucks. And Poseidon bosses are going to kick your ass even on difficulty 0 if you are not ready for them.
>>1775929>DLC3 is it's own contained thing, so you don't need to worry about your current cycle's progress and all thatDon't you literally need Blackwell letter from main game to get Florence as summon
>>1775094>We don't see the other formsGo fight them at 0 SEN
>>1775937How about a sl1 diff 0 run then? Was it done with summons leveling or without it?
>>1775914>>1775918Well damn I guess we'll have it done by the time BS4 is out then, our knowledge of combat is stacking buffs with different weapons, casting Requiem then just spamming with Anchor/Vorpal/Uchigatana/Miranda's Axe and abusing Rabbit Watches as needed.>>1775929We have the stats but not the braincells. And fuck N*de, all my homies hate N*de, I think even the one N*defag swapped to disliking her. We hope she at least gets killed but we know she'll just get away with her bullshit.
>>1775880I do actually agree that Ending G has happened multiple times. The issue I have is that we can pinpoint the last time we had an Ending G and that is almost always 1 cycle before the H ending. In that cycle the actor playing Jabberwock has lost her drive to be a creator to the Mother Alice role taking over. It's not about it not being establish enough to the players, it's about it not being reasonable in world with what we know.
Look whom I found!
>>1775960>her bullshitShe literally did nothing wrong, and I say this as not a Nodefag
>>1775988Enjoy best girl
>>1775991>Nodens>Teaming up with NyarlathotepShe did everything wrong.
>>1775999She clearly regrets it and has been helping you out for the whole game.
>>1775966I don't recall anything about her saying that she lost her drive to be a creator, but I could have missed a line about that.
>>1775924Red always moved me during ending G already, but H ending really did leave me heartbroken as far as video games go. The fact that she's your trusty ally during BS1 help forming that connection with her too. During my original run of BSII I never got caught by her 100 sen form. I felt so relieved when I was fucking around with SEN and found out it was her coming to save me.
>>1775996Gender bender is hot as fuck
>>1776011She doesn't say she did but I think if the world was collapsing than the last thing our Jabberwock from Ending G would have on her mind is roleplaying an older woman and getting dick. With Both TCO and JubJub its outright said they are losing themselves in their Alice role, I don't think it's a coincidence that Jabberwock is sacrificing her life to play her role of mother Alice, she's lost in the role and no longer considering her drive to be a creator.
Now this is a face I haven't seen in a while. This one looks like she'd make a great mother
>>1776028You know it my man
>>1775991We are unreasonably harsh people, as far as we're concerned anyone that had any involvement in the cycles being carried out deserves to be killed or preferably eventually punished in a similar manner in Grimm's own garden. We can see the arguments for how the ones with minor roles aren't as bad, mind you we still see them as being deserving of punishment. But Node we can see no redemption for, even if she truly came to love Grimm, truly changed and somehow came to understand human love and in DLC3 went on to be the driving force behind Grimm obtaining his freedom, in our eyes that wouldn't absolve her. Since in our view, if you get someone into a shitty situation then getting them out if it is the bare minimum you owe them, and you're still a bad person for getting them in that situation to begin with. Even if she didn't get Grimm into the situation but was merely complicit in him getting stuck in it, we still think she's shit. DLC3 could change our views on this, but we're doubtful it will.
Guess I might as well do a screw the world cycle before getting the proper endings. Kinda need it for the cgs anyway

"as long as the realm you are in is a garden, i'll appear to hunt you from it's sharp corners"this pretty much confirms that lindameia or his mount is a dog of tindalos
Does Red Hood make more appearances throughout DLC 3 or is it only at the end? I didn't meet her on the bridge again in Lutwidge Town after finishing ending G and before going into DLC 3 so I wasn't sure if I was missing out
So, I started BS2 and it's bretty gudI'm going in blindAt some point a lot of NPCs died, wtf happened?oh, and I have way too much skills, I noticed a "skill storage" tab, but how do I use it?Thanks bros
>>1776112New scene in Lutwidge after she's kissed you I believe.
>>1776134>At some point a lot of NPCs died, wtf happened? This is your first goal, figuring out what the fuck happened. Try exploring as much of the world as you can before cycling. Skill storage is used by pressing Shift on the skill you want to store I think.
>>1776080Always a girl, Leaf's fanfiction made her believe she was a guy
Best way to farm?
>>1776134BIRD'Dkeep in mind the torches in the library dream, they are a counddown to deal with something
>>1776142oh, okayAre there any clues?I tried to find every body, but there were little to no clues
>>1776154also, it seems like the turtle girl killed herself? does it have something to do with every other NPCs or what?
>>1776154>are there cluesnot really, unless you really pay attention to the storybut figuring it out is were the fun is at
>>1776134The skill storage lets you remove skills from your skill list, you know in case it gets too cluttered by useless skills. Ain't fun scrolling past 20 spells if you are a pure meele build. To put a skill in or out of the storage just select it and press shift.
>>1775942So I just did and made this shitty collage. I don't see a lot of similarities.
>>1776147In BS1 or BS2? I'll just list BS2Until you reach level 999, Crash Chamber at 0 SEN, you can do it with Storm Ruler really easily if you have nothing. Turn the difficulty up as you get more powerful to get more souls from each killAfter that, Chaos Dungeon is the best way since you just buy Tainted Black Souls en masse to get stronger. After you finish the Chaos Dungeon and fight the boss at the bottom, you should be able to handle the boss rush.
wtf is this bullshit, lorde attacks me 10 freaking times as soon as teh combat starts
>>1776154There are a couple of dialogues which make references about this. One of them gives you an actual direction where to start, but figuring out how to get in there is a puzzle on its own.
>>1776154>Are there any clues?Yes. Most of them require you to pay attention to the plot and NPCs though there's a few environmental ones. You can also prevent the event from happening if you explore enough and happen to take care of the source in the process.>>1776196He's doing you a favor.

Alright bros, I think its time for me to plunge into DLC3.I wanna go straight to the new stuff so I'll be starting from my old save. My Grimm is lvl 600, all stats are well above 10k, I have all the op gear, spells and rings, end G done and Chaos Dungeon past depths 1 (if I remember correctly, may have to double check on that one).Question is, what stuff will I miss from not restarting with a brand new character? has there been changes in the wonderland beyond the dlc areas location? wish me luck, I've heard its tough
>>1776409>has there been changes in the wonderland beyond the dlc areas location?Yes. You might want to cycle to see Blackwell's new content and there's new spells, a weapon and scenes scattered around the map as well.
>>1776409there are some extra scenes and some things require to do you certain parts in the main game in a certain wayalso your shit is gonna get pushed in with those stats
>>1776409Blackwell has a different outcome from vanilla. There's a secret room + weapon in the fire forest, I don't mean to spoil but you'll likely never go back there otherwise.
>>1776422>I don't mean to spoil but you'll likely never go back there otherwise.>he doesn't grab Jeanne's book every cycle
>>1776409You're gonna have a hard time. Go straight to the Chaos dungeon and grind. Also beat the Boss rush for more dialogues.
>>1776431that's on the other side though
>>1776409There's plenty of new scenes with old characters, including a new Red scene which honestly should be obligatory. Also you can now talk to the doll at Oxford.
>>1774964I just started DS1. Is there any downside to just killing myself dozens of times and gorging myself on the Black Souls™ I get? It's what I've been doing.
>>1776448You still see the message on the other side and it looks different than it did in DLC 2 I believe.
>>1776409Since you already have stats past 10k which is a reasonable starting point for DLC3, you might as well get your level up to the cap as well. You WILL need that health.Hope you know about weapon switching too, that's going to be more and more relevant the deeper you go
>>1776451It's terribly inefficient, but other than that nope.
>>1776451No, besides that it's pretty fucking inefficient timewise.
>>1776458>>1776460>>1776461I'm having a hard time with Hansel and Gretel and I think it's because I'm just bad. This is the only way I see that raises my ATK. Please help.

>>1776569Alright, here's an attempt. By no means is this a complete description and it's completely missing out on the hours of buildup and context leading into it but I'll focus on this segment in particular. You briefly transition from regular gameplay to a VN segment. The setup is that (You) are Lewis Carroll, housesitting three lovely girls by the name of Lorina Liddell, Alice Liddell, and Edith Liddell. Over the course of a few days in the house you find more and more fucked shit happening in and around the house, notes pasted everywhere, radio transmissions of you being on trial for the murder of the girls, the works. This ultimately culminates on Day 4 which you saw in that image (assuming you fucked up which most people do to get this ending to the sequence) with shit completely hitting the fan, the girls dying and the house turning into a nightmare zone. It's a lot scarier with actual context and knowledge of what's supposed to be going on and what doesn't add up with the segment.

>>1776784I don't even know why people believe that Alices != Nightmares when its so blatantly obvious with the reveal in the ending.
>>1776753The plot and the choices/consequences are the strongest parts of it. Gameplay is standard RPG maker gameplay. Art is bad. I know it's an H-game but the juvenile dirty jokes in virtually every item description and some characters' dialogue like the succubi also detract from it I think. Give it a shot for an hour or two and see how you feel about it, I still played about 40 hours or so before losing interest. It's unfinished though so keep that in mind.

I was playing the DLC3 and it was pretty hard. But what truly made it bizarre to me is that my characters is basically as strong as possible and I thought I was playing on difficulty 0. I did stop before the last boss, and at one moment I went to see the difficulty, and it was set at 9. I guess because I explored the chaos dungeon before. Still, I got to the last boss like this. Some other time I might put on difficulty 9 again and kill him, but for now I'm happy to put a 0 and see the ending.

Jabber in G assumes her low sen regular form before evolving. But mother alice looks completely different. It's my only gripe with black souls's writing as a whole so I'm happy to look past it.
>>1776852Nah, I get it and I agree as well. Still, it's probably the only instance of really rushed writing that I can think of in both BS games.

Or is the quest for Alice still ongoing? There was an Alice soul in end G, but was it the real one, and if so where is it in the new DLC 3 ending? Okay, how about this: BS III, but not in rpgmaker, and everything is encrypted, so it takes 3+ years for people to reverse engineer the true hidden ending that's inconclusive again and makes all the previous endings false.
>>1778650Good question, and one that I can't quite answer. You do arrive on a coastline when you enter the castle if memory serves, but the clown says this in Queensland. >>1778630Double check your difficulty and get better at the game. With 20k stats, you should be able to handle everything fine, you just need to know each groups gimmicks.
>>1778705She's a real person as well, it's pretty interesting.
>>1778709My god how horrible!
>>1778695Speaking of shimaidon threesomes, Mary and her little sister Haigha threesome when? I'm already a touch annoyed that even with the new scenes, there wasn't an option to just forcibly introduce them, unless I missed out on prison interactions.
>>1778719EMMM is such a westaboo and i love him for it
>>1778707Ok, for some reason I was on 9 but still, everything starting with requiem is pretty brutal considering they deal like 40k x 3 damage per hit.
>>1778733OH NO NO NO NO NO
>>1778634I finished the game two days ago and I really want to do another playthrough, at least of the DLC zones.
>>1778733>Ok, for some reason I was on 9Remember to liers deserve rape!!!>requiem is pretty brutal considering they deal like 40k x 3 damage per hit. It's not worth it to fight the fodder enemies, but guarding, requiem, and dispel are you're friends. They won't always save you, but they're pretty good.
I can't be the only person who really enjoyed the new combat stuff and really hopes for more of it in the future, right? Feels good knowing that that's most likely what we're in fact getting. I feel like by the time emmm is done with 2 games and makes BS III the final boss might have 30 phases with different gimmicks each and it's making me so damn hard you wouldn't believe it.
>>1778733>everything starting with requiem is pretty brutal Don't do like me and get the dispel magic from billinsgate.
>>1778746I loved the domain system, with some refinement I think EMMM could finally make that difficult game he's wanted to.
>>1778746I really enjoyed it but EMMM has to dial it down a bit. If BS3 started with that kind of shit then it would suck a lot trying to make through content the first run.
>>1778746>the final boss might have 30 phasesah yes, dying on phase 23 and then having to do all the previous 22 ones, peak kinothat sounds like fucking cancer
>>1778738I keep seeing her mentioned when people are stuck at difficulty 9. Is it a meme or does doing something with her trigger difficulty to change?
>>1778746>I can't be the only person who really enjoyed the new combat stuff and really hopes for more of it in the future, right? The domain systems are dope, the existence of knights and orcs and to a lesser extent charging horses and corpse eaters very much anti-dope.
>>1778755Her "blessing" when you refuse salvation turns your difficulty to 9.
>>1778746We should have an unkillable boss hunting us in the next game like Prince of Hell in the first few cycles. Would be nice to keep the tension up.
>>1778746there are some good ideas there (like the domain systeM) but EMMM really needs to cut down on the multiturns and multiattacks for both the player and the enemies and make it a proper back and forth
>>1778763Ehh, I'm not super feeling that. I'd prefer Lindamea constantly invading.
>>1778766The domain stuff can be used for everything though. Like I think the final boss should have something like +10k% to all stats (aka everything maxed out), you always get 2 turns in row but never more and you can't use items, that would be supreme
>>1778762HAHA I KNEW THAT THING WAS TO SUSPICOUS
>>1778762heh jokes on her I already started the DLC on diff 9
>>1778766I think he already recognized the bigger issue with BS2 combat, Rabbit Watches. Multiturns are definitely unbalanced but watches were a mistake.
>>1778766Pocketwatchfags got what was coming for them. EMMM had his revenge.
>>1778746>but EMMM really needs to cut down on the multiturns and multiattacks for both the player and the enemies and make it a proper back and forthI think a lot of that is because of three DLCs worth of powercreep.
>>1778762>refusing an opportunity to be killed(saved) by Dokuro-chanWell deserved punishment.
>>1778776there's nothing wrong with watches though, items not using turns was the real problem. Lowering your cooldowns harder by using a watch would have been fine if it took a turn
>>1778777you say that anon but I literally pocketwatched owlguy to death
>>1778780>there's nothing wrong with watches thoughBlatantly incorrect.>items not using turns was the real problem.Debatable, the game definitely went too far in terms of how many items are free actions though.> Lowering your cooldowns harder by using a watch would have been fine if it took a turnWould have been much more balanced at least, though I'd argue it'd still be too strong considering how many extra turns you can get.
>>1778768It is kinda cute how hard he tries.
>>1778779sorry bro I don't wanna pi piru piru piru pi piru pi back to the bonfire constantly
>>1778777Except all the DLC does is making you abuse pocketwatch+requiem even more.
>>1778793>Except all the DLC does is making you abuse pocketwatch+requiem even more.I literally never abused watches at all during the DLC.
>>1778779i think angels are dumb
>>1778793Filthy watchfags. Never talk to me again.
>>1778793I used requiem way less because it feels like every boss just dispels it so I actually have to rely on guard/dodge/mitigation
>>1778788>Debatable, the game definitely went too far in terms of how many items are free actions though.eh, it's either free damage, free buffs or debuffs or free full recoveries. Like maybe only buffs or debuffs would be fine but shit like having 99 estus flasks is ehhhhh>Would have been much more balanced at least, though I'd argue it'd still be too strong considering how many extra turns you can get.True, multiple turns kinda trivialize a lot of stuff too
>>1778809>multiple turns kinda trivialize a lot of stuff tooThey do, but they're easier to balance shit around than pocketwatch spamming.
>>1778606 when you meet Red with high sen at the start of the game, she's already missing an arm. There's also the dialogue of Cheshire saying that if when you wake up from a dream and are still in a dream it mean that you never woke up.
>>1778818I'm aware of 100 SEN Red, that's one of the main indicators of a previous G cycle having taken place before you control Grimm. The way Mabel phrases shit in >>1778606>>1778611 makes me believe that you DID in fact wake up, just that time got turned back because of GG. Also I think Cheshire's dialogue is phrased more as a question than a statement though I don't have a screencap of it on hand at the moment to verify.
What's the cosmic powerlevel chart
>>1778828Azathoth > Mabel > the rest
Parsley, sage, rosemary and thyme~
>>1778828Sleepy moon idiotMabelTCO/Node/BaphometPrickettThe rest except most bs 2 covenentsAll the bs2 covenents that are Grimm's children

>>1778837we know Grimm
>>1778835But what about l*af
>>1778844She can't do much besides psychologically torment Grimm anymore.
>>1778844She's the biggest monster of them all
>>1778833YAMEROI didn't know of the song before. It's been stuck in my head since I finished DLC3 last night.
>>1778838I love how his fighting style is almost the same as Grimm's
>>1778844Without GG's power it's hard to say, she can still assume her true form so I want to say she fits in "the rest" tier, I think she's stronger than the other covenant true forms in the g ending right? Other than G ending Jabber. Before BS2 it's still a bit different, if you're in Leaf's garden she makes the rules, so Baphomet, while stronger can't do shit. But TCO is above her in power enough to ignore thatIn general Leaf is different from most of her Kin. She goes against the narrative of Outer Ones not comprehending human emotion when clearly she does after diving into human literature. Maybe Outer Ones just need to start young or they develop into autists.

>>1778863Can he fucking stop?

Any other 0SEN stuff to note in DLC3?Only other thing I discovered was Invincible Penguins in Mountain of Madness caves becoming hostile and slapping you back to 100SEN.
>>1778888>19k in attack>he believe he will have a chance to attackKek, you don't know what's coming to you anon
Heinrich is the key to all of this...
>>1778968Just that and the penguins as well.

>>1778972Who the fuck his he by the way? I though he was Hein at the start but it don't seem do.
>>1778968I'm pretty sure there was at least one corpse at the hospital that only appeared at 0 sen

>>1778968>>1778993Take your meds, schizos.
>>1779010No, I'm going to watch pictures of Alice instead.I wonder if the meds seller is GG too, there's even a "liddell's doll" that appears everytime GG does.
Dude what the fuck is wrong with this retarded Owl???
>>1779018Isn't there a Liddell's doll in the sheep shop in Carroll River? I don't recall seeing the Alice doll there.
>>1779018It has the same sprite as the other two as well.
>>1779020Yeah.The doll on the crusher room has the same message.
>>1779024Yeah, I remembered that. Can't recall the Alice doll being anywhere in the vicinity of the shop but I guess you could handwave it as the Liddell doll being a part of GG or something.
>>1778746It would be kino if he ONLY kept those for important bosses in BS3, I dont want to deal with them for every single one
>>1779029What about all the mannequins. They same some stuff that is inline with GG's dialogue.
>>1779035The mannequins honestly make me think of the other patients you see at the start of DLC 3, trapped in the dream like you. I'll give them another look to see if there's anything I'm missing though.
>>1779038Alright, reread them. Some definitely read like GG but the one about the stars feels weird and was what first came to mind.
>>1778968Bros she didnt deserve this hellFlorence…
I want to draw some stuff for Mabel, Lorde and Lorina so bad but I have finals next week. EMMM's character designs are so fucking cool, I wish he gave my bro Carnacki original sprites as well
>meeting Jabber on a new cycle is supposed to be a hint at the whole Alice actor shitA bit hamfisted but I guess I get it.
>>1779057Sister Alice also kinda acts similar to Jubjub, although it's a bit of a stretch.
>>1779062>the actual madman fucks this>repeatedly at that
>>1779057The only one thats a stretch to me is Bandersnatch, she doesnt resemble or hint at Daughter Alice one bit. I hope we get a clarification on this in BS3 or less likely in an interview
>>1779062I want her to Teke my li-li.
>>1779071I assume it's supposed to be the "innocence" she has.
>>1779057That whole thing really felt unnecessary.
>>1779079I think it's just handled poorly, also sorta explains the pause that Node gives when she lists the nightmares, since older sister Alice is AWOL so she replaces the last one with Lorina.
How do I beat Lindamea's balls? Also, why dont I get the extra dialogue with Miranda's axe equiped?
>>1779094Ignore them and hit him with it. Or maybe you need to end the turn with it equipped, I am not sure.
>>1779094You don't, focus on Lindamea.
>>1779094Grab them and fondle them anon
>>1779094Have you tried working the shaft?

>>1779150I LOVE IT! Girls with short hair are the best!
>>1779137I was probably at 90 SEN.Also i hate i need to avoid all those black-bars, i want to have fun too.
>>1779133You need to be at 100 Sen or higher.
>>1779150it's just an anime cliché that represents character growth, i'm pretty sure japanese men prefer long-haired women
Okay, I got endings A-E now. What do I need to do to get the juicy stuff? Get all flames and look for Red at bonfires? What about fairy tales? Do you need them too?
>>1779198Get all flames and look for Red at bonfires?YesWhat about fairy tales? Do you need them too?No, you get a decent ring or a sex scene for completing it.
>>1779198Fairy tales aren't required for anything, you'll need the flames, Red's mark and pressing x/escape at the start of a new cycle when you pick your Alice.
>>1779201>>1779202Got it, thank you.
>>1779198You also need Leaf's ring.

>>1779101>>1779119>>1779124They ejaculate 3 turns in for 750k damage and I can barely get a dent on Lindamea in that time.
>>1779220Unga harder. What's your statline? I was able to 1T phase 2 with ~15k base Attack.
I'm revisiting areas in DLC3 trying to do a clean up before I do what I presume is the endingIs there actually a chest here somewhere, or is it a clever dark souls reference about people saying chest = boobs? I did the not unicorn path and am going through unicorn path, so maybe there was a story thing here?
>>1779225WTF? I'm sacrificing my stats down to 15k for 736k hp. What weapon did you unga his P2 with?
>>1779239I couldn't find a chest in the area, I assume it's the clever reference.
>>1779242Machine gun.>lowering your stats for more HPNot sure that's the smartest idea.
>>1779242Not that anon, but I used Kishingatana with Winter Warrior's armor, and I forget which rings and shield, probably a lot of White Rabbit rings. Took me a while, but I did it with 12k base stats
>>1779252>>1779258Ughhh, I went to 30k attack and it took me 10 turns for P2. Also it just turned out you just had to not damage the balls at all. Kino phase 3.
Did anyone else find the 10 free Souls of the Outer One in the Nurse Call boss room?
>>1779324wasn't that in a sink or something?
