>>1516001Yes, all of those fights are pattern heavy with very important mechanics, except maybe Phereo who's more about lucking out. You really can't stack buffs/debuffs and overpower them with stats, unless you have maxed reincarnations and a bunch of postgame gear that just so happens to be locked behind those bosses. Take note of what they do each turn, the pattern usually loops every 4-7 turns, depending on the boss. From then it's about figuring out what which move does, which debuffs it applies and how to counter it. You can beat all of those without reincarnating but it's pretty hard. If you haven't figured out their mechanics yet since the game really doesn't tell you what all of those icons mean,Nordol has a shield that gets removed when she uses her super move. She can AOE stun when she uses it and sleep a random target with another move, so you need stun immunity on all your guys and then either sleep immune on everyone or just on Auris and keep Incite up. She applies a debuff that drains all your health and SP after a turn, so you need to have regen with stuff like Rabi's Battle Cheer, Emela's aoe heal and maybe some SP regen accessories. Phereo doesn't really do much, she has a random barrage that can tear Auris apart but if you can buff up Auris enough to survive it, the fight gets much easier since you can use Incite. The filler attack part of her pattern is also more random. Her dance partner thing gives a random character +100% damage and another move has a chance to charm for a turn. Camia's single target debuff makes you take massively increased lightning damage from her AOE move so you really want to taunt her, making it so Auris is the only one debuffed. You need to break the bubbles when you start suffocating so try to keep them low. They do a bit of damage when triggered so don't kill them when you don't need to. Also bring paralysis resist on everyone.

The game doesn't give you much to work with, boss specific debuffs aren't ever clearly explained to you, the icons don't always tell you what they do. The name of the effect usually helps in those cases but you can't see it in the status menu, so you can easily miss it or lose track of it, especially if the boss applies multiple effects with a single attack. There is also no indicator of you resisting a debuff, so you can tank a hit with instant death, resist it, assume the attack doesn't have a secondary effect and get cucked when you don't prepare for instant death and it triggers just before you kill the boss. You also don't learn the boss' elemental weakness/resists until you kill them unless someone straight up tells you. You can guess but there's no reliable way to know if you guessed right since the damage is often random and you might have rolled high on a resisted hit and low on an element the boss is weak to. Colored damage numbers would be great for that!Colony's turn timer helps a bit at least, but I kinda wish the monster log showed the boss' attacks(preferably with what statuses they apply) after you die to them once, or showed them at all I don't know if RPGMaker games can let you can reveal the attacks only after you've seen them though and spoiling a pattern shift like Trau's would be pretty lame.

Same with Uula, she usually just spammed Cure-All 1 and kept Wall Area up for Demigod Entasis and God Entasis.Tirma had the most varied role by far. She was using whatever I immediately needed, like Shit Bombs or Ultra Ultimates. If she didn't have to do either of those, then she could attack. She was my Royal Bind user too, though I had Royal Bind on Rabi just because.

Games suffer from minimal balancing; where you get one guy in charge of it who knows everything about it and balances around doing everything perfectly with one specific set up.Combat is too fast to know what enemies are actually doing. There is no way to see their buffs/debuffs. Bosses attack multiple times for more than half the hp of any character, and all have some AoE status effect you need to respec to avoid; which is expensive enough to not really be practical.Equipment is pretty much use what exists and grind the 'optional' area bosses 16+ times for accessories.Postgame in Blight was better than the entirety of Awake but I gave up on the last boss that attacks >14 times.Also doesn't help noone wants to provide information that doesn't go through google.

Everything aside from the superbosses can be beaten easily by simply grinding out some more xp to cover for your party not being ideal. Bosses hit hard but you can counter that by grabbing a tank with incite and buffing them up. You don't need to respec for statuses, you can use immunity accessories. I beat awake with everyone running all status immunities all the way up to the superboss, since obviously I needed a more specialized party there. Postgame bosses are all beatable without reincarnating once, so you get up to +200 in all stats if you're struggling. The superboss in every game literally exists to be a grind fiesta for people who like that kind of gameplay. You don't get anything for beating them so if you don't want to grind just skip them. Blight postgame was the best because the superbosses were out in the open so you didn't miss out on anything by skipping them and you didn't need any of the super overpowered equipment to beat the manas. Awake and Colony have postgame dungeons which don't really have any purpose if you skip the superboss.People also post info if you don't just ask dude what's best team lmao. There are wikis for all the games so you can look it up yourself, the Blight one is a bit barren but the Colony one has builds and turn by turn guides for all of the hard bosses.The one good point you bring up is the lack of ingame information on boss mechanics. You can't really tell what a boss specific buff or debuff does, unless you figure it out from the name that appears when it gets applied, along with all the damage numbers and not in the status menu for some reason. I also kinda wish it was easier to tell when an attack is physical/magical and what element it uses. There's no colored numbers for elemental damage types or resists so you have to guess from the name and animation. Also there's no way to tell physical attacks from magical ones.
