When does voice acting get introduced to the trails games? I am assuming with cold steel 1. I'm about to start SC I have to make a decision before I get to that game whether I want to start my journey in english, or japanese subs. For anime like attack on titan for example I prefer the japanese sub voices so much more. English always sounds tryhard and overly retarded. Though I have not played a jrpg not in english before. Is it me, or Falcom forgot how to write Estelle + Joshua + Renne after the 3rd? They got the general personalities right, but they fucked up the small details. Things like Joshua jumping to protect Estelle from an opponent as weak as Wald (when the promise in SC happened) seemed really OOC. I also thought that Renne's scenes felt off. I'm on Sky SC and the letters sent to Estelle and Kevin that was a trap has me thinking. Renne told Estelle that the boy who handed her the letter had black hair and amber eyes. If Renne knew Joshuas description and deceived Estelle purposely, then Renne is either up to no good (her past is rather blank with her suspicious parents), or Joshua is eviley behind this trick in some way. Anyways I'm rearing up to this big "mad tea party" event--which Chapter 3 is named after--and I feel it's going to be kino.
I just started Chapter 2 of the first Trails in the Sky game. Enjoying it a lot so far, but I've been really careful to finish all the Bracer guild quests asap because I know they've got timielimits based on how far in the story you are.
