If you're going with that mentality instead of emulating, you might as well post that in every thread.

It's funny that the windmills are portrayed not as the salvation of humanity but as another symptom of soulless industrialization along with the metal grating, that they chose to use to portray the nightmare becoming reality

Guys, thoughts on origins? I remember enjoying my play through years ago. But there's nothing in particular that stood out too me.

I think she was talking to some dogs, pretty weird you ask me.

Does this game emulate well?
Is it very difficult?
Tips on both fronts?
>>
>>8906913
good gameplay but ultimately soulless

>Does this game emulate well?
5th gen games are pretty flawless unless you're a connoisseur.
>Is it very difficult?
For a horror game I think normal is kind of soft, you never really feel pressured much, bosses go down easy and you're stacked with supplies. Hard is pretty tough but it's not crazy, you don't really have to worry too about locking yourself or anything like that. what you choose depends on how much you value a little masochism in your games.
>Tips on both fronts?
You can stealth enemies pretty well if you turn off your flashlight, it's very useful in the school portion of the game for example.
As mentioned earlier in the thread, in the latter third of the game in the silent hill town resort area, make sure you visit the bar in that area before going anywhere else.

This got me when I had forgotten to save for like an hour.

>5th gen games are flawless
PS1 games, and even that has its outliers that run like shit
>>
>>8907532
>Is it very difficult?
You get a crowbar early on, and a hammer a little later, so you can pretty much become OP and save on ammo and healing items.
>>
>>8907637
It got everyone I think
>>
>>8906913
Has the problem the post Team Silent games had of being too betrothed to the earlier games. Having a loose continuity centered around Silent Hill as a town is probably the better move to go. It's why I sort of like Downpour the most out of them.
