Nintendo’s cross-platform publishing restrictions. Like Ultra Games.

>Nintendo’s cross-platform publishing restrictions.

Flying Edge was owned by Acclaim as a secondary company to publish Sega 8bit and 16bit games. It was a way to work around Nintendo's publisher exclusivity deals.

Pretty sure that Arena handled LJN's games on the Genesis/ Mega Drive. But they all ended up being bought out by Acclaim, anyway.

Wasn't there like a thing where we recently found out that Arena was just Flying Edge all along?

>Oddly enough, the cartridge label specifies that the cartridge must be returned to Flying Edge. Flying Edge was a division of Acclaim Entertainment that published games specifically for Sega's systems from 1992-1994, since Acclaim couldn't publish games for Sega's systems themselves due to contractual obligations to Nintendo. However, Arena Entertainment handled the publishing while Probe Software handled development on the port in the final game.

Weird. But not too surprising. I don't know the history of Acclaim, LJN, Flying Edge or Arena. But it is clear that Flying Edge was created by Acclaim. I don't know much about Arena, but they seemed to be a group that picked up a lot of LJN releases. And some Acclaim? In the end Acclaim did buy out LJN and Arena. So, they did own both. It's confusing?

The only retro vidya youtuber you should be watching is thundercock Mike Matei, who actually knows and likes old games, and is actually very good at them, compared to sockpuppet James and his ceiling lights. I pray to the Loco Bandito every night and you all should too

This wasn't a bad version of Smash TV. But the controls were a bit of a problem. Though this game actually supports two gamepads.

Oh look thinly disguised THIRD Bart vs. The Space Mutant thread.
When will this shit stop? What fucking eceleb made the video so I can copyright strike them to stop this bullshit happening here. Every time some jackass makes a video, 5 threads overnight about shit no one has cared about in decades.

I looked on YT and the only video on the game that was uploaded recently that has more than 8 views was some Russian streamer. It’s probably just the same op each time
