Does /vr/ coomlect? Post coomlection or battlestation.
>>8139071Lol, what a joke. OP has bad taste and, as usual, is a faggot.
>>8139071>coomFuck off with that shit. No serious collector would ever use that term you retarded troll.
>>8139071I have 244 N64 carts. I have pretty much all the "must-haves" for the system, though, so if I couldn't pick up any more, I would be satisfied. There's only two games you have that I don't (Quake and BattleTanx).
I have my collection on my raspberry pi
>>8139405You own 244 N64 games and are somehow missing 2 of the best games on the system. Wtf?
>>8139438Is Battletanx actually good? I actually bought a copy of it today and didn't really enjoy it much in the 45 minutes or so that I played. Maybe I should give it another shot.
>>8139071Hard drives, flashcarts and ODEs. All my games are still packed away until I get some more shelves.
>>8139489Battletanx is a fucking classic. Beat the campaign on hard. I dare you. And this shit was especially a fun multiplayer game. The second game Global Assault is even better.
>>8139504How did you get everything stuck to the ceiling like that?
>>8139573I'm friends with drakon and he offered to hotglue everything up there
>>8139438Even if it was a good port (far from it), Quake 64 doesn't even have the Nine Inch Nails soundtrack. It's a novelty item at best.
>>8139803Lacking the soundtrack is definitely a positive .it's like doom 64. Atmospheric and cool
>tfw collect shit nobody cares about like cartridges for Tandy CoCo and VIC 20most collectors would say I collect garbage
>>8139873I think that's pretty cool
>>8139578He's the avgn
>>8139873I collect 8 track so I think I know the feeling
I sold everything, it was PAL garbage so no lost.
>>8139071I'm trying to get a 32x working and i.the frustrations involved are so insane that it dominated my mind and collection now.The one I have probably shipped DOA from the factory
>>8139969>PALWhat a shame
Behold, my entire coomlection.
>>8139957I would honestly find that to be a more interesting conversation starter. Must be a real bitch getting those these days.
>>8139969>LylatwarsAlways think this is a some bootleg shit for a second. Will never get used to it.
>>8139071If you don't coomlect you aren't a gamer.

>>8139806>>8141282>Atmospheric and cool>it has better ambient music instead.Okay, so you guys have never played the PC version, cool
WHY is there always a Quake 64 shitfest whenever anybody posts a picture of an n64 cartridge?
>>8141549Yes, i've played every version. The PC version is best, but personally i'm not a fan of rock soundtracks in my creepy FPS games. Quake 2 soundtrack is especially garbage.>>8141556Sorry sempai desu. I will drop it.
i use to coomlect gamecube games and then they got really expensive. so i just bought a wii nintendont and that was the end of that.i also collect xbox 360 games and have like 90 games now and about 40 regular xbox games.
>>8139803The NIN soundtrack isn't even good.
>>8141574> not a fan of rock soundtracks>rockWhy can't you just say you've never played it? It would've saved you so much face>>8141582Cringe
>>8141785Nin sucks sorry that triggers you dude. That anons right. You're the only one holding out for buttrock.
Mostly just coomlect neo shit
>>8141883Nice collection anon
>>8141883Finally not a poorfag
>>8139071I stopped collecting since I got everdrives so I literally don't care anymore. Why waste 300 dollars for one game when you can buy a flash cart and own all of them.
>>8142283Why buy flashcarts for $100s when you can just buy a cheap raspberry pi

>>8142851Avert your eyes then
>>8142457he hangs out with me while I play retro games
>>8142838Nice coomlection. It still surprises me how much gamecube game prices skyrocketed in recent years.

>>8143069>also because i dont want any normies/women to known have these itemsI let every girl I've been with know I'm into that shit upfront. Nothing happens and I'm married now. If some girl has a problem with me playing Pokemon all day it's not going to work.
>>8143096fuck emulation dude. I'd rather not play a game
>>8143074kek, based. I've managed to grab both of the meme games cib, but Zelda's Adventure is too expensive for the sake of owning a shit trilogu.
>>8139969I just recently sold my Conker's, I always was aiming for a complete N64 Rare collection, but Banjo Tooie was just too expensive now and Conker is not a really good game all things consodered, I think I took 250 for it, didn't want to go with the moon prices that are current in retro gaming now.
>>8139071Not anymore these days sadly. Local stores/sales were already bad enough before the pandemic but now shit's completely dead, and simply ordering shit online is no fun. I hope it gets a bit better in the near future.
>>8143074I have always wondered why /toy/ has a /bst/, but /vr/ doesn't
>>8143228i assume you mean CIB, because Banjo Tooie isn't that expensive
>>8139405I feel that way and I only have 5 carts
>>8143289>>8143074there used to be one in the old days of /vr/. Everyone is so hostile to collecting these days

>>8141883impressive regardless, but be honest with us, are some of those just MVS carts in custom cases? No judge either way, NG is badass regardless.
>>8143074>mfw i have Zelda's Adventure, Gamelon and Hotel Mario, but still missing Faces of Evil.
>>8143096i fucking hate myself so much back in the day i actually wanted this game cause my dumb ass thought it was a sequel to Stunt Race FX on the snes and i found it at a store for 5$ and was going to get it but instead my retard ass decided to get Wizardry V for the SNES cause I wanted "more rpgs."oh well, at least i have sculpters cut.
>>8144312get an AV Famicom they are dirt cheap.
>>8144746But I have a nes
>>8139071collecting in this day and age is just openly paying scalpers. Even the "retro" stores want over $100 for one cartridge. Much easier to just emulate everything these days than fooling around with old hardware and overpaying.
>>8144729It's not even that good of a game. There are so many other better racers on the 64.
>>8143069>normie>cares about what holes thinkRetarded normalfag.
>>8144718They’re AES and legit except I’ve got a money puzzle exchanger and metal slug 1 boot. I have a shit ton of MVS too. MVS is the gateway drug.
>>8143069if you care what normies and women think of your collections you're looking for relationships in the wrong places.
>>8145191Nice. Ive got a baby's first neogeo collection of about 24 games mixed of aes and mvs and pick em up here and there at cons or when my local retro shop gets em.Where did you usually get them from? Ebay, another site, yahoo auctions, NG collector groups or were you just fortunate enough to get em when they were new?You also buying any of those new official NG conversions that are coming out in europe or the NG.Dev stuff?
>>8145414Can you you mix aes and mvs on console/cabinet?
>>8145416Aes can play mvs via adapter, as far as i know aes wont work on mvs boards.Games are identical with a handful of minor aes version changes on a few games.
>>8145426Interested in the AES/MVS differences.
>>8145429I think its just some minor changes like home console type settings, like set lives or something. Idk, gigachad aes collector on here probably knows which ones have the differences. I think its mostly the later releases. I wanna say the metal slugs may be one of em, not sure if the combat school was added in the aes releases first or the Neogeo CD versions.
>>8145414Mix of eBay and NG collector groups. eBay is a pretty safe bet for MVS, since it’s easier to spot fakes and no legit reason for sellers not to provide board pics. For AES you can still get legit copies on eBay for most things but need more knowledge of what to look for. Big ticket stuff I’ll only get from other collectors. Don’t care about the new Visco repros coming out, but have Xenocrisis coming and on year 4 or 5 of waiting for AES Kraut Busters. Not buying shit from NG Dev ever again until it’s proven they can deliver in a reasonable time frame.
what's the cheapest way to get into neo geo hardware nowadays if you're willing to tinker? These prices are ...
>>8145191>>8141883Does neo geo have much to offer for someone who doesn't like fighting games or multiplayer games because I'm alone
>>8145445Buy an MV1C, make a CMVS out of it or use with a super gun, and get a flash cartFor non-tinkerers, just get an AES with unibios and a flash cart. Still pricy but for <$1000 you can play everything on OG hardware. Get a Neo Save Masta for memoryNeo emulation is also generally really good so no shame just doing that either
>>81454573rd party and early snk releases are more of the non fighter stuff.
>>8145445Just emulate... Neo geo is ridiculous to collect for especially now and emulation for all 16 bit consoles is perfect
>>8145463a neo geo cd + sd loader isn't bad either
>>8145473Bullshit. MVS is still the last bastion of affordable Neo Geo, but it won't stay like that for long.>>8145445Get a Neo Geo 1 slot from Aliexpress, 161 in 1 and look into superguns. You should be able to get a setup for under 150 if you shop around. If you're serious I'd suggest getting a 1 slot sooner than later, the prices are starting rise and the surplus from china is starting to dry up.If you want to collect real carts, you should be able to get most of the good titles for 50-100 dollars while most of the KOFs can be found for 50 or less.

>>8146527This shit sucks so much. Still never gonna resort to emulation though
>>8145708>wealthy people spend money frivolously
>>8146540Yeah just looking at money in my bank account is a better use of my finite time on this planet than spending money on my hobbies. Every person who has enough money in their bank account to indulge said hobbies holds back and just stares at it until they die instead. Because once you die you're going to be judged by how much of your money you were able to hold onto, like a high score in an arcade game.
>>8146548Have fun working the rest of your life
Why do people that browse /vr/ hate honest collections so much? It's like if you are not apart of the emu army, you are the enemy. Sorry zoomies, i know the current market it beyond fucked, but that doesn't mean us boomers pay these prices. I've been collecting longer than most of you have been alive. And i played/play all my games.
>>8146552You say that as if the things I am purchasing are really that expensive. The most I would spend on something like a game console is $200. Do you think that's a lot of money?
>>8144278>Vice>Ducktales 2Nice. You never see good NES games for sale at stores.
>>8146548pretty sure thats how the Ferengi afterlife worked in Star Trek where your life is judged on how much wealth you accumulated
>>8145637There is zero reason to not emulate these 16 bit consoles. That's like owning a NES collection and that emulation has been figured out since the 90s
>>8146708They're not expensive and I'd rather play on original hardware. I don't care that I can emulate them or how good the emulation is. I have never really been into PC gaming at all besides running emulators and now that flash carts exist those are useless to me too.
>>8146717It's literally unnoticeable and there is no difference. What the fuck doe snot being into pc gaming even mean
>>8146720There are some differences not in how the game runs but how I experience running it. I spend all fucking day in front of this computer. The only thing it inspires nostalgia for is the work I just did on it a couple of hours ago. Pulling out a console, plugging it into my TV, and turning it on without worrying about messenger notifications or my OS giving me some kind of notification or whatever the fuck else is a nice experience. Brings back simpler times when I had no internet access and didn't have to hear from faggots like you.
i started to fall down the rabbit hole right before the prices went fucking insanei got re2 and 3 for the cube for about 30 bucks now their both almost 100 eachand dont get me started on the gameboy playernowadays i just use flashcarts and shit
>>8146558This board is full of broke 3rd worlders.
>>8146721So much fucking this. Sitting in front of a computer and working all day is really tiring. I don't have any desire to sit there any longer. Dropping your ass on a couch and playing on a big TV is a godsent for days like this. Peak comfy.
>>8147419Lol. Trading the bad screen for the good screen I see
>>8147458Yeah, pretty much. Home office turned my cave into a workplace. It's much harder to relax in front of the computer for me. And I often feel like I'm wasting a lot of time just sitting there and shitposting instead of playing games like I used to.It's a psychological problem you know, and I imagine it's been similar for many people for some time now.
>>8147507That just made me sad anon.
>>8147552It makes me sad too. Thank goodness there are cute Japanese idols to cheer me up when I need it.
>>8146708t. someone who can't tell the difference between emulation and original hardware because they've never spent any length of time playing on actual hardware. I bet you play retro games on an LCD in 16:9
>>8139071Wanted to get into PS1 collecting but the prices are sky high in UK. So I thought fuck it I'll just buy in bulk from Japan and learn the language. Like how hard can it be?Pic related 105 games cost 3200 yen or £22 (Shipping was way more though). Got a chipped PS1 for £20 on ebay so I'm all set. It's true about the nips looking after their games most of the discs are mint. Some of the case inserts are a bit faded though probably from the heat and humidity - poor bastards. How did I do?
>>8147634Should have posted this in the recent purchase thread instead. But nice.
>>8147634What's the fucking point? Why collect games that you can't read, have no sentimental value to you, and will never be worth anything in your home market?
>>8145987Very respectable boxed 64 collection
>>8146527Which website is that?
>>8146721>>8147507>>8147419You can plug your gaming pc into your home tv idiots.
>>8147634Based and redpilled. I turned to collecting Japanese versions too. Fuck PAL PS1 games, they're pretty much all shit conversions. Meanwhile NTSC-U prices are incredibly inflated. If you know Japanese (or are at least willing to learn) this is the best choice. The games are cheap and mostly kept in great condition. But I buy only what I want to play. Buying in bulk pretty much means you're getting 90% trash like those pachinko games and whatnot.I only wish I could just go to Japan to get some games in person (maybe there's a good online store too?). Ebay sucks most of the time, because all of the offers are made for gaijins who don't know the real prices and they're inflated there too. Games that go for 1000 JPY max are sold for over 20 dollars if they're in good condition.
>>8147649I said I was going to learn Japanese. It will be like embarking on a journey of wonder and discovery. I was big into PS1 in its heyday so it'll be good to experience something new from the era. Quite a few of the games are playable with little to no Japanese anyway I don't collect for market value rather it's about what the games mean to me. Either way you look at it I just pulled a massive middle finger to the resellers over here.
>>8147743I can. But I don't want to.
Wasn't 5th gen when games started coming out with multiple languages you could change through the options? Usually at least English/Japanese. I knew ubisoft went insane and would have 5 languages available in all versions of some games.
>>8147830That's mostly a PAL thing.
>>8147649Because he is not a massive faggot, unlike yourself.
I will never learn japanese. I'm gonna kill myself
>>8147830That wasn't until 7th gen and blu-rays
>>8147757i always wondered, while obviously the big cities in Japland are all english friendly, most of their game stores are picked clean of the good shit and/or their prices are boosted up a bit cause of foreigners, but what if you were to go out into the sticks to some of the small towns? Surely some of those not touched by outsiders and frequented by locals must still have some small independent gaming/collectibles/thrift shops where the prices and stock must be more appealing still, even if they wouldnt have the mass quantities of the big city coming it and of course you would need to be much more familiar with ACTUAL Japan rather then the tourist cities and how to really navigate the language.
>>8147743Still not the same
>>8147769This post should be stickied for all emu faggots that feel the need to come here and bitch about what people do with their time and money. The whole point of many personal connections going way back, like WAAAY back, were because some weirdo had a personal interest in something niche that only really appealed to them or a small community of other weirdos. Talking collecting shit like the remains of animals with abnormalities or grotesque torture instruments and other kinds of shit most people would not have a normal interest in. If someone is collecting for some outdated system you can emulate or for some games that have no perceived "value" on a platform from the 70s, these people are well aware what they are spending their money on, you dont gotta be a faggot and constantly bring it up to them. Its their personal weird money sink cause they like it and it probably means something to them, so kindly neck yourself and leave them to it.
Japanese gamers must think of us all as total losers
>>8147859unless you are playing text heavy games, you can probably learn enough that it would still be much cheaper to buy jap versions for the very small amount of text you actually need to know to play them. like how much you feel reading is really important for something like MegaMan?
>>8147964japs import games too, just its not as well known over here. a lot of times jap collectors are just as autistic if not more so
>>8147969text heavy games are usually what I enjoy. I enjoy weird stuff that's barely a game a lot actually. I struggle to find examples and I struggle even more because I insist on hardware.

>>8147936Well, if you go to Super Potato in Akihabara then don't be surprised that the prices are high, it's THE retro games store after all. There are a lot of so called tourist traps. But from my experience, even if you go to Bookoffs and similar stores in big cities you can find some pretty good games for quite cheap. I went to a Bookoff in the middle of Kyoto and found a whole bin of mecha games for the PS1 and PS2, 100 yen each. And good stuff at that, ACE, SRW, etc. Probably someone's collection. The thing is, it's really hard to tell what is rare in Japan unless you know the market better. You can find games that are rare and fetch ridiculous prices in the West to be really abundant and sold for a few hundred yen in nearly perfect condition. As you said, it's probably better to check some less popular shops too. You don't have to go all the way out into the mountains or whatever, 1 hour by train from the center of Tokyo should be enough to get away from the tourist spots.Man, how I want to go back.
>>8148009i think the platform id be most interested to find games for over there are PC games, like ACTUAL pc games from the multimedia CD boom of the 90s.
>>8148024That's one area I didn't look at too much. PC games mean VNs and eroge 99% of the time in Japan. And there was a lot of that of course, but as for "actual" games, how you call them, I don't remember seeing too many. What stood out to me though, when I went to Yodobashi Camera there was a PC software department and it was full of Office, antivirus software, Windows, etc. And among that were boxes of FFXIV and DQX. The video games department was all console games, PC nowhere to be seen.
>>8148053yeah thats kinda what i was implying when i brought it up. Theres a bunch of really interesting 90s/early 2000s PC games from Japan/China/Korea that little is even known of which really fires my synapses as a 90s pc game collector. Like I did manage to get a PC port of Gunstar Heroes from Japan that very few sites seem to know exists and it even advertises more pc ports like Rent-A-Hero and Alien Soldier. Ive seen some ebay listings out of my price range for essentially share-ware/free-ware Mac game collections, but they look to be made by Japanese indie devs, so im sure thats chock-full of obscure goodness. Then you have shit like those stupid expensive releases like Garage and Eastern Mind. Fuck, i remember watching some youtube zoomer do a vid about trying to track down the Japanese version of Lego Island and it being an incredibly difficult task to actually do so.
>>8139071I'm spergy about my boxes. I want to play my games and keep them in something, but I don't want to damage the boxes by constant opening and closing so I just keep the boxes and manuals in plastic, and then I have universal game cases for actual shelf use. Maybe it's silly but that's how I like it.(Also the Zelda games look dark because they're printed on silver paper, which looks great in person but doesn't photograph well)
>>8148024I went to a store with a shelf full of PC games in akihabara. They were all expensive as shit and it was on the porn dvd floor.
>>8148053>PC games mean VNs and eroge 99% of the time in Japan>>8148612>all expensive as shit and it was on the porn dvd floorreal coomlection hours

>>8156232Blockbuster actually, though I do have a Gamestop rack also upstairs with 360 games on it.
>>8156256Here is a better view from the other side. Its really nice, got it when my local store was closing. Cant see cause of the sofa but it has 6 racks on the front sides that holds 68 games each and the ends are smaller but also have 6 racks that holds up to 28 games on each.
>>8156273View of one of the sides.
>>8156232Here is a gamestop rack i saved from the trash. It had wheels but they all broke off as i had to wheel in 3 miles to my house since i didn't want to disassemble it and had no car big enough to move it, so at like 3am i was pushing it up hills then jumped on the side and rode it down inclines all the way home.
>>8154690Based and hoarder pilled
Got a small coomlection of stuff. I mostly buy stuff that seems interesting to me or that I wanted to play as a kid, and don't really seek out anything rare.

Does anyone else's eyes glaze over and you just don't give a shit whenever you see someone's giant collection of 360 games?

12/14 US VB releases. Two most expensive to go. I like boxes and manuals, but I collect-to-play so I'm not gonna pay 3x the price to get all that shit. I'll do it for a couple extra bucks.

i already have most of my collection, but fuck me, the last 10/15 things i want skyrocketed in price. i kinda dont even want to buy them anymore they're so bullshit. FFIII, super metroid, the snes zelda, r-type III, battle garegga, and a few ps2 games. why the fuck is gta vice city stories 100 dollars? that was in every single gamestop ever for years and now its all of a sudden rare? did people bury that shit in landfills or something?
>>8156546old & bitter
>>8153981Since a lot of older boxes don't look perfect lined up next to each other because of years of natural shelf-wear, the box protectors help them look very uniform/consistent. And damage to the boxes are less noticeable with the protectors on it too, as well as holding the structure together if the box is crushed at all. I'd personally recommend it.
>>8160601>why the fuck is gta vice city stories 100 dollars? You looking on Amazon or something? It's hovering around $54 on eBay.To answer the question on why it's so rare, I genuinely have never seen it garage sailing in all the years i've continued to do it. Maybe like 20 copies of GTAIII, San Andreas, and Vice City each, very few for Liberty City Stories, and literally none for Vice City Stories.
>>8160694nah on ebay, about 3 months ago there were only about ten listings and the buy-it-now prices were 75 dollars and up.
>>8160694Probably because LCS & VCS were PSP to PS2 ports that never got PC releases so everyone forgot about them. Shame because they're good fun.I can't even remember how much I paid for my copy second hand, but it certainly wasn't that much.
>>8160768You can literally buy it right now for $50, which is less than $100 as you claimed.
>>8160563>>8160569A lot of good games there. Nice collection, anon. But man, US Saturn spines are such a clusterfuck.
>>8160848....do you think im lying about seeing it listed for 100 dollars or something? i fucking got it the first time you showed pics....also, i refuse to buy a GTA for 50 dollars, even that is beyond absurd. i only buy like-new conditions anyway. anything less is usually a lie and its scratched to shit.
>>8160884You will never own gta
>>8160909fuck you x1,000,000,000
>>8160884>why the fuck is gta vice city stories 100 dollars?>....do you think im lying about seeing it listed for 100 dollars or something?Just because it's listed for $100 doesn't mean it sells for $100. I can find you a ton of Mario 64s and other extremely common games that are listed for $100 too. I think you're just being dramatic in this case because I'm pretty sure that game is actually uncommon + desirable. And this is coming from someone who wouldn't pay for games in this market either.
>>8159776Yeah it kinda was, not like i had any shit going on in the middle of the night and i needed a shelf, plus it has a 2nd side of it i use for vita n psp shit.
>>8160974Also wasnt a dumpster dive, was working at the store at the time and knew we were getting rid of it. Also got a 4 sides shelf display from there as well.

>>8142838 fucking nice how the hell did you find a copy of ikaruga?
>>8162239Bought it all as a lot off ebay about 5 years ago.Paid $400, now some of those games are worth $100+ each.Came with a gamecube and the gameboy player.
I always get the itch to start a new collection but then I remember how useless it felt and how long it took to sell them all on ebay and I bury that idea deep inside my head. the whole "hunting" aspect was a really nice hobby but thats because most of the top games used to be 10-20$ cib 15-20 years ago on ebay. nowadays I would literally pay 100-200$ for the same games in a worse condition.I feel really bad for the people wanting to start their collection nowadays.
>>8162283I sold a good chunk of my collection between 2018-2020 literally just before the covid spike because i needed the money and was sick of collecting, just had a room filled with games i didn't play anymore and was going through a bit of an transitionary phase in my life where i wanted to go more minimal. I don't regret the decision but it does suck that i now have to pay out the ass for things i was hoping i'd be able to re-buy at a later date for maybe cheaper prices if not the same price. The most painful things i sold were things like Breath Of Fire IV, Tales Of Destiny, Silent Hill, and my Vita collection. seriously though wtf when did everyone all of a sudden become collectors.
>>8162283I'm glad I've never had any real attraction to the idea of "collecting". I had a bunch of games as a kid, and one day while I was at university my mom decided to sell them all off (she asked first). Now, if I'd kept them, I probably could've made some decent money off them today, so that stings a little. Lots of retards out there willing to pay top dollar for Nintendo shit now. I even had Virtua Racing and Thunder Force IV for the Mega Drive. But in terms of actually having them around? I've never missed them. I've got all the games I had as a kid, and a lot more, stored on microSD cards the size of a fingernail. I don't have to rifle through shelves, only to find out I misplaced the disc in another case because I was lazy. These days all I have lying around are a copy of Kato and Ken that came with my Famicom I used once for testing, A copy of Sonic the Hedgehog for the same reason, and Seaman 2 as well as Police 9/11 because they both came with PS2 peripherals I wanted (A seaman compatible mic, and a police 9/11 compatible camera, respectively). Maybe if I went through my old CD stacks I might find a copy of Warioware for the Wii between some old demo discs. But none of these games are even used, I don't see the point when I can just use flashcarts and ODEs.The one thing I miss from boxed games is looking through the manual, I guess. It'd be nice to have some online resource for those given it helps with game progression sometimes, but the ones out there seem pretty lacking.
>>8162208i kinda explained in another thread i do experimental guitar/synth music with a very loud drummer since im the only other musician in the project i need to be very loudim never going to reveal my power level or shill my projects that i have going on but if i gave enough hints /mu/ shitposters would figure out maybe not WHO i am, but definitely WHERE i am my friends are quite talented i prefer to fly under the radar & garner (only deserved) attention by my own artistic merits tiny indie label i started is doing well though & im proud to say we have vinyl records +eshop

>>8147419>>8147507always felt this way, especially now. good posts anon
>>8147552I feel the same as him and it is a little bit sad. But changing your mindset helps make it less sad. Modern life demands that all your leisure time be spent in front of either a phone screen or a computer screen. To be infinitely distracted by endless choices. Browsing movies on Netflix for hours or looking at a full romset unable to choose something to play for more than a few minutes. I feel far more satisfied when I can get away from all this crap and focus on something. I do use emulators on my Android TV box instead of my PC but I put one game on there at a time and set aside time to play. By sitting down with a controller in my hand and looking at my TV I'm able to focus on what I want to do. I won't be tempted to answer messages from anybody. I won't be tempted to come here and be an asshole to somebody because they have a different opinion than me. I can enjoy playing a game and have fun. That's also why I appreciate original hardware. Having a shitload of devices that can play anything makes me appreciate purpose built machines more. The simplicity of it makes me happy.
