Why did EuroCHADS create the greatest and the most timeless retro game music?

Also an overlooked and forgotten retro microcomputer music thread I guess.

They'll make good music no matter what sound chip they've got in their hands, or even the lack thereof.

>They'll make good music no matter what sound chip
The sound chips do not restrict anything

That song would sound better on the amiga though.

You seemed to be implying that the sound chips restrict what a composer can do, that's evidence that a song can sound good regardless of what sound chip is used. After the first choir part at the start of the orchestra version it is the exact same song, very little needed to be changed for it to be on GBA.

Euro composers have nothing on Tommy. He's a national treasure.

I still can't tell if these are troll threads or non-Americans actually played games using a keyboard on these little computers in the 80s and early 90s.

Nice, I didn't know there was an NES version of Overlord (Supremacy in Europe) and that Jeroen Tel did the music for that one too. I can sort of hear it's him even on the NES. I'd only heard the C64 music before https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bdz5X814bNQ which is very different.

A lot of times it was too much arpeggio shit and they seemed to have a hard time making simple melodies like Koji Kondo or somebody did.

White people can't make good music. Europeans are no exception. The greatest Vidya composer was Michael Jackson

It's an oddity because Amstrad were famous for selling pretty-looking garbage, yet they created one of the best 8 bit micros.

Then they bought Sinclair and sold those micros as pretty looking garbage, well into the 16 bit era.

The Amstrad CPC was a nice productivity machine, but it couldn't do action games for shit, they were like 10 fps.

So good with kids...

Comic Bakery is simpler and more catchy than the entire Koji Kondo's discography.

But MJ was white.
