Are there any games you came around to after not liking them? I hated Crash for the longest time until I finally gave it another shot and I wish I did it sooner.

Final Fantasy 9. The first time I played it I hated how abilities were learned from equipment, I disliked the goofy cartoony style, and I found the gameplay underwhelming and I stopped playing it about halfway through. Gave it another go 2 years ago and actually enjoyed it.

FF7. I was a full-grown insecure boomer back then so I thought putting all that 3D and flashy FMVs in the series was a total sacrilege.

Then I played it and went "Hey this is better than 6 in every way"
