months ago I was playing this game, all fine, this and 3, but then I stopped, not because it was bad or anything, on the contrary, I stopped playig because I DIDNT FUCKING WANT TO FINISH THIS BEAUTY (and this year I've been very busy)and you what?? you know what's the real SHIT and BAD thing about this goddamm game? the fact that once you complete it, once you 100% it THERE IS REALLY NOTHING ELSE YOU CAN'T DO, NOT EVEN REPLAY, because believe me, before stopping playing, I went, checked the menus, TRIED to freely play the crash events... AND I COULDN'T UNLESS IT WAS MULTIPLAYERFUCKthe music still haunts me, in fact I just dropped everything I was doing because I made the mistake of humming 5 seconds a random revenge song and now I'm here, an hour on youtune, listening, and improvising this threadthat's how much this fucking game hurtshow it hurts where it really hurtsharder than a kick on the ballsfuck i'm gonna cry just take me back im depressednow soon I may continue it, continue it where I left it but.. i idk bros, i dont wanna finish it. save me

>>10261723Not exactly everything, 'checking' only works from directly behind so you can still get your shit wrecked a multitude of other ways if you get too cocky. It does take away some of the challenge though, I prefer 3 as tight driving is a lot more important.
Oh man I love Burnout Revenge. There was a demo disc in 05 or 06 that had the Shadow of the Colossus demo on it and when I got done with that I tried the Revenge demo, holy shit it was so fun. that demo didn't even have music lol but I was so into it I rented revenge as soon as it was at blockbuster. i think it was Band Girls Money that was the big song, good rock tune. so much fun to play and every gold trophy felt well-earned.Went from returning this to renting Flatout 2 and omg it was so shitty in comparison, the definition of so-so. such a snoozefest after Revenge's fast pace, but it did have that one good Alkaline Trio song. I think I had more fun using cheats to get the Batmobile and racing around this giant nascar track than with Flatout 2's regular racing mode>>10262037this is a lil unclear. for reference if your racecar drives into normal passenger cars on the street from behind you'll "check" them which launches them super fast straight angle from where you impact them. the only exception is you can't check any passenger cars that are driving towards you, even at slow speed if they're facing towards you your car just explodes
