Each generation of Pokemon has its flaws and issues but over all I‘ve enjoyed playing them all. Except BDSP. That’s one is a slog. It’s better to play Platinum, or even the original Diamond Pearl on a DS.
I caught over a dozen Mamoswines the other day in an outbreak because I wanted them and had fun catching a seemingly endless stream of mammoth pigs. I didn't even notice the shiny.

Open World Pokemon would be better without levels or IVs. Let Pokemon be entirely built on EVs and movesets, each gym battle would need to come down to actually strategizing and team building, instead of just one shotting everything because you're 10 levels ahead of them.

Light platinum is the most overrated rom hacks I’ve ever play. Even though it came out in like 2009 when Rom Hacks were limited, but it still not not deserve to be universally praised as it was then, even though it has been mostly forgotten about by now. > Used Ruby as a base instead of emerald or fire red, so it uses ruby’s ugly ass font> Gyms on par with SwSh, 8th gym has a Kingdra with Bubble.
