She's obviously a lot more competent than May was when she started, and already has a clear goal of what she wants to do. In Movie 8 the 3 Regi's are scary as shit with their voices and immense power. Why is it whenever legendaries first debut in movies they're all powerful, but later when we see different ones in the regular anime they seem so underpowered or weak? This has been happening since Movie 2, the legendary birds in those movies seems like gods but every Zapdos, Articuno or Moltres that appeared since seem much weaker. The Regi's Brandon owned in Battle Frontier are definitely not as powerful as these.

It took five hundred episodes after their debut before we got a break from Team Rocket. But as much as I like the pacing, I'd like to see Liko and Roy (and the other Volteccers) start doing Pokemon trainer things more often. Hopefully once the entering Paldea arc is over, the plot will have a longterm goal but remain more freeform, letting them do stuff like train, do battles and catch Pokemon. I'm very interested to see what the relationship is between Landau and Dot now. They seem to be hinting at something. Just as a side note: After watchng so many episodes of Hoenn, seeing a Spoink in the wild made my blood pressure spike.

I only have one, admittedly weird, complaint about DP's art design so far: Dawn's arms look like they could break in two if she flexed slightly too hard. She is way scrawnier compared to the other companions; Serena had thin arms but some definition, and May was kind of chunky all over (not to steal the gimmick of the guy who keeps posting about her tits). Maybe Misty had the bird-arm problem too in the early anime, but not by AG. Dawn looks borderline anorexic. Also, if they're going to put in so much effort to not have the audience look up her skirt or thigh, either make the skirt longer or give her shorts/culottes to wear like May has under her skirt.
