There's not a lot of Sneasel redesigns and the ones that do exist mostly aren't good. (There's more Weavile and Sneasler ones, but Sneasel in particular is my favorite Pokemon, though Sneasler can match it with some tweaks)

So i'd have to go with this redesign. It's almost less a redesign and more just a more realistic version, but there are actual design tweaks, like the furry white arms and such. It almost makes it look more like a Lemur or some kind then a weasel/cat. Reminds me of Sneasler a bit. I don't like the shorter ear though

This is 100% what it should have been. I still don't understand why it becomes a fighting type ballerina that looks very different in silhouette from the original, which is something regional forms tend not to do. Pretty much all of them you can instantly recognize which Pokemon it's a regional of from the general features and shape of that Pokemon at a distance. This fan art at least does that, while the official regional form you could think was a new evolution or Pokemon altogether if you didn't know

It's still very clearly the same Pokemon even if it got a lot taller with a skinnier trunk. This thing has multiple elements that get changed for the regional form, a little too many if you ask me

I mean in a broad sense it does work. One has spring legs, the other spring arms, plus boxing glove attached to a spring was a relatively normal concept thanks to cartoons of the time. I also like that it gets rid of the mouth and most of the clothes to make it closer in aesthetic to lee.

If anything, had that artist drawn chan better/with a more menacing expression, I would even get as far as to say I prefer it over the original.
