While a bait post I'll bite. When it first dropped people were amazing since Pokémon was always in the grid style and granted BW still is but BW was impressive since GF actually tried and gave a shit. I do not mean even story or mons or anything, but that GF pushed the limits on the DS hardware. Be it trying to simulate diagonal movement in their games, the moving sprites, to cut scenes.
