The only thing you'll potentially be locked out of is the platinum trophy and the highest difficulty (until the level cap/equip cap is raised), but it still sucks. People often argue about usable alternatives and whatnot but Insane Hieronymus is obviously an Arius check and Chihiro/Saki rules Hod and are practically irreplaceable. New characters being strictly 3*s also doesn't help. I thought the addition of Insane was going to force players to use more teams with less powerful characters because of the HP bloat, but the defense type only cuts down the number of viable characters instead in most cases.

And of course these characters need to be 5MMM UE50, too (so bye-bye f2p players). Thankfully plat rewards are mostly e-peen so casually getting gold is still good enough really. Not doing insane only means that you're missing out on some purple coins and a mere 1/6 of a 10-roll.

But also, like other f2p games, if you want to rank well, you gotta be lucky or you gotta pay up. However you can still get 90% of the event and raid rewards as f2p (there are no unique rewards for plat aside from a decorative statue for the dorm), and the story unlock missions can be beaten quite easily. Monthly tickets (~$10+$5) do let you farm some essential loot from dailies more efficiently, so many people buy those and treat it as "game subscription price", but if you stick with the game you can get enough loot from dailies, events, and raids. PVP as f2p is also feasible, I dropped the game for over a year and I still rank somewhere between 100-200, give or take depending on luck.

I'm sure these are PvP newbiestomping tactics that most people figure out before trying to break top 300-500, but any tips for my dumb ass for dealing with>D1 Tsubaki/Hoshino/etcAny way to stop them from running straight into my backline? A1 shotgun tank doesn't seem to stop them from coming to my half of the map and getting trapped there by the locker. If you try to avoid this with something like A3 A4 tanks then the locker falling and knocking them back can expose your dps to fire anyway. Running an Akane with a leveled up passive can also prevent this as the enemy tanks will see her earlier and target her instead of continuing to run forward, but you are effectively giving up a striker slot to do so as she doesn't contribute much of anything after that.Shun is pretty susceptible to running into aoe once the locker falls because if she has ex activated she will see the opponent but not have line of sight, so she tries to maneuver herself into being able to shoot them. Iori shouldn't have this problem as long as she's still targeting an enemy tank however. This is one of those things where you just hope Shun is either your first ex or enough down the line that she doesn't run in since the locker falling gives just enough time for Shun to run into a Hibiki normal activation.Hibiki is not particularly good on attack. You could try some movement speed up characters like Akane or Tsurugi to disrupt the enemy formation, but both of these units die fast to Iori.Unfortunately a lot of these issues are the reason why indoors is considered very defense favored, and there's not much you can do about it without opening a hole somewhere else in your offense.

>>931872Wherever you heard it from, the discussion was most likely about Hoshino not S.Hoshino.Maxing Hoshino's EX to 5 makes her unable to interrupt abilities in pvp like Tsubaki's normal skill. Instead of the enemy trying to activate their skill and then get it canceled, the longer stun duration forces them to wait until Hoshino's EX is finished.On the other hand, more stun duration is a good thing for raids like HOD, and more power is good in general. So it up to you on what you value more.It should go without saying though that S.Hoshino's EX should be maxed. There is no downside to it being stronger.

Shit, still can't clear EX. I can get Chesed down to half HP using an assist Iori (need my own to clear the first waves), but I can at most squeeze out one more yellow team, and it's challenging to have them stay alive long enough to do any damage of note. No Ui, no mats to level Cherino's EX and Sub, just got to 80 so not enough reports to level everyone to 75+ either (stuck at 70-ish and even worse for some).
I'm retreating in the last wave so I can change teams but I don't understand what exactly forces Chesed to open.If I leave 3 enemies alive in the last wave and use my next team, that means that chesed will open after killing exactly 3 enemies during the first wave, or it's just a random number?
