I recently became Legendary in ranked MP and I have to say, the difficulty level is a step change compared to Grandmaster 5.These Legendary players are capable of amazing feats of speed, accuracy and manoeuvrability, often it feels like they are cheating but realistically they are just a) better than you and b) using the latest iphone pro or ipad pro... and believe me the performance of your device really makes a difference.I am a thumbs only player, I'm also a middle aged alcoholic with shaky hands and poor eyesight. But if you are getting angry about being repeatedly face-raped by teenagers high on sucrose, I have this advice for you:- PRE-AIM. If you know the bad guys are about to come through a doorway, ADS. Hell, start shooting even before they appear, so they walk into your bullets. This advice applies mainly but not exclusively to hardpoint and Dom. - Make sure your hipfire, ADS and ADS / shoot are all clustered on your screen, so you can still move while using any of the 3. You can NOT afford to stand still under any circumstances you must have a constant movement, even just zigzagging back and forth on the spot- Take a long, hard look at your perks and loadout. Balance has been improved but some guns are categorically worse than others. The Peacekeeper, QQ9 and 60 or 80 round mag Cordite are good options. Conversely, the M16 (for example) is not. Depending on the game mode you are playing, simple changes like using the Shrapnel perk may net you a vital edge. I realised after hundreds of games of Hardpoint that the Gung-Ho perk and Shrapnel are a lethal combination since sprinting with a grenade gives you a speed edge in getting to the objective AND being able to lob two molotovs or thermites in succession while still running can wipe out enemies inside a building where a single one of either would only have been a nuisance.
Meh legendary is possible as long as you don't give up and keep pushing, I'm not some iPad sweat and I used two thumbs but I reached it in most seasons, some made me hate humanity but eventually I made it to leg and that's when the I give zero fucks anymore and lots of trolling begins. SnD is what I played most of the time, maybe it's easier to rank up there? I don't even use meta guns to rank up most of the type but things like rpd, na-45, striker/hs2426 or whatever its called, used to have lots of fun with akimbo fennec (well ok that's was very meta back in it's time). Just play smart and know where to shoot, after you play many matches you might start playing like having a sixth sense and know where everyone is, have your volume high to listen to steps and camp if you have to, if you rush better have good aim and slide if necessary. I mentioned na-45 earlier and many people might call it a cancerous gun but note that I kept using it since it was broken up to when it got nerfed whatever amount of times, it's just a very fun fucker which causes lots of seethe and killing campers is so hilarious with it, idk I still love it and even got it to diamond with my s1 account.Br in this game was fun most of the seasons for me, specially when they added tanks and jackal, abusing vehicles with refitter class hit and run and grabbing dogtags easily never gets old

Is it me or do I think amount of xp you loose when loosing ranked matches is way too fucking harsh and brutal? I have had my ranks go down to Pro because I keep loosing 50 or so xp even though I did score good kills, moderate amount of deaths and played the objectives. But I guess when it comes to ranked matches, the game does not care about playing the objective, just your K-D ratio. But in Battle Royales, it seems alot more forgiving or feels fairer or reasonable. You managed to survive for enough time and scored only a few kills? You only loose 10 or 20 something xp. Far fairer and reasonable compared to the amount of Xp you loose when loosing ranked matches. And when you do win a ranked match with a high K-D ration, you don't earn enough and are only capped at 30 something. Imagine a more useless scorestreak than the SAM Turret. From experience it seems any asshole with plenty ammo can shootdown an enemy's aerial scorestreak with just their high DPS automatic guns. Or just plain ol' launchers. Plus, enemy aerial scorestreaks are super infrequent especially in ranked matches where not everyone can maintain a steady kill streak due to constant dying from sweat tryhards and campers.
Why is this game so addicting? Seriously, I'm sitting here playing FFA round after round and although sometimes the bot only matches are awful the ones with other players are so much fun
Word of advice to players stuck with using lower end devices:DO NOT BOTHER playing ranked matches and battle royale. Ranked matches and battle royale demands high refresh rates and good internet connections. Be sure to have plenty of time for your gaming because I have learned that battle royale games never respect your time. Players stuck with lower end budget devices are better off sticking with playing in regular multiplayer do not bother going to ranked matches because it is unforgiving.

>>1121936>paypig shitthe only thing I'd recommend buying outright is the battle pass for around 5$ in cod points (you'll get guns and operator skins, pretty much the best value with this game). if you grind it to tier 50 (pretty damn easy if you play at all) it'll refund the cod points you spent on it and you can buy the battle pass each month for no additional cost. paypig shit besides that is hit and miss, legendary skins give you a cool gun skin with a custom kill effect but they generally cost around 100$ a piece. certain guns in crates/draws have custom ironsights, which would technically be p2w but it's not needed.you can grind in ranked or unranked matches. ranked matches will give you cool shit like crates, operator skins, and gun skins as you grind up the tiers. check your event tab, events give free shit as well. playing the game normally lets you grind credits you can spend in the credit shop for free operator/gun skins. also you can watch ads (10 a day) for points towards more free shit with its own shop. it seems overwhelming at first but you'll get used to it, you don't have to paypig to have fun.a good start would be to play something like unranked team deathmatch until you get used to the controls, in my opinion.
