Best Shinji unit is pic related (SAFWY), and he's still very strong. Bankai Shinji (CFYOW) is also very strong. Shinji has like 3 or 4 units that are still pretty good. The SAFWY Shinji is currently on a banner

With dupes you can trascend characters from 1/5 by getting one copy to 5/5 by feeding it the dupes. Using some materials lets you give flat out increases to character stats.

Most units you will want to get to 2/5 to upgrade either:
Physical Attack and Focus (Crit rate) or Special attack and Focus. Depending on what's their better attacking stat.

Only the really busted units are worth getting to 5/5

I'd normally say full stam damage, but given that you'll have a hard time staying at full hp with that unit and the fact that her kit already comes with last ditch I'd go with low stam damage. Either that or weaken defense.

kinda torn on what I should give fb ikkaku (the one with a boost & flurry) for t.20. Gave him full stam for the 2nd skill & need to replace the the first bonus skill with either start barrier to protect from losing fs or full poison resist (coupled with the isshin link). My main runner is 3/5 fullgetsu or 1/5 safwy retsu. Other side runner is t.20, 1/5 Sajin with start barrier & fullstam with all those retarded gq buffs. Any advice would be good, would ask the guild but fuck the weird censorissues for chat

I would've done last ditch survival and a low stamina damage boost. You're going to have a hard time keeping him at full stamina when it matters (after that start barrier is long gone), but last ditch guarantees you get his boost skill cooled down on revive, and he'll revive with the low stam damage boost active too.
