Well, that fight with Kiara was absolutely excruciating even after using all the KPs. In retrospect I'm amazed a latelet like me even managed to last as long as I did before having to blow my command spells. On that note, I noticed something off- Kiara seemed to be able to use Authority of Beasts and Multi-Colored Tranquility's Charm effect despite their being deactivated by the KPs. Is that a bug or something?

Chen Gong isn't quite as good as those two, but he's still solid and the best thing about him is that he's free as opposed to being a limited 5*. Still, you might feel pressured to putting some grails into him since his level cap is only 65 so his attack and max hp are pretty low (each is roughly 1/2 of what Astarte's is). Mooncancer Kiara is also worth a mention. She's not as good at double Castoria looping as the previous three characters, but she can loop and more importantly she brings tons of utility (guts+HP regen, party evade, can remove enemy ignore evasion buffs, crit stars, NP charge) that makes her a very respectable choice for any challenge quest that doesn't prominently feature Rulers (and very few do). So for what it's worth she's great for high difficulty CQs and can also be used to loop farm. On the downside her banner pops at the same time Castoria's does so you might not have the resources to get her. Ultimately though if you're just looking at pure looping it'll be Astarte on top. But really the big thing is just getting Castoria. If you don't mind using the plugsuit then Chen Gong, even without grails, is going to be good enough for nearly everything provided you have third servant who can boost him (Tamamo, Casgil, etc).

I'll be level with you guys: I don't really care about castoria/farming meta anymore even though castoria isn't even here on NA. I already maxed my support list plus the main servants I like or use often. This year is probably the last year I'll even clear 100+ boxes because starting from next year, I don't really care about the lottery mats anymore and there aren't a lot of new servants I give a shit about. New mats aren't in the lotto anyway so it doesn't really help. I might just randomly blow a bunch of gold apples during events or farm bonds during dead weeks, in which case I don't need to care about 6CE slots and can just stick kaleidos. Yeah, castoria makes a lot of servants stronk during CQs, but hag fest doesn't have exhibition quests. We'll see if they bring them back for JP's fest this year but even if they do eh, past CQs have no dupes rule so I end up not needing to even bring my own merlin/skadi/waver anyway.I think I might actually be hitting the endgame of FGO.
