While the game is considered to be one of the most generous game out there with its free currency, there's a massive gap between a veteran players and a newbies. People who played the game long enough would have enough resources to get everything in events without care but new players would have to play smart and only go for actually good and useful ships instead of blindly wasting their cubes on some trophy purples. Pity system exists but it's only for UR ships (200 builds), and they only appear in certain events. Events can take over a year to get reruns so it's recommended to always have at least 400 cubes at hand for events with URs.
