Question for seasoned players: Do you keep a healer on your main team? Almost every video of fgo that I have seen seems to prioritize skills and nps to end the battle as quick as possible, but so far I have relied a lot on healing to keep my main group alive, it has been working but a lot of battles do drag on. Am I wasting my time?

NP loops are the meta, but it only works with the right servant comps. For the most part, the game isn't too hard, so just do what works for you/what you find fun.

Does the percentage multiple in nps refer to the flat atk of the servant or is based on the card type? like, a quick 600% np does the math based on the 80% damage of a quick card while a 200% buster np calculates from the 150% of the card?

I haven't really looked into Taira, but she has 10 hits on her NP and a .81% NP charge rate which is actually pretty impressive. It also removes the target's buffs before activating, which is a bit niche but really fucking useful in a Challenge Quest where an enemy is spamming evades, invincibilities, or tons of defense buffs. I feel like she should be fine at NP1 but feel free to go to NP2 if you want to. There aren't going to be any servants who I feel are mandatory summons until June when Caster Artoria gets her rerun. She boosts Arts, not Quick, but she has such a good kit she can work with pretty much any servant, and her unpierceable invincibility is amazing for Challenge Quests. I would recommend saving up some quartz to pick her up.

Just finished Agartha and I don't really get why so many people detest it to the point someone went ahead and rewrote the entire script. To me the only really bad parts of it are Columbus and Fergus and for the same reason: they're too one-note and keep repeating the same shit over and over. Fergus in particular is already a shit one-note character, making him a shota just made him shit in a different way. If you took Fergus out of the story and had Columbus be slightly less repetitive it would be a story on par with other singularities, just not a top one.

If you don't have Enkidu or a similar ST lancer then proto Cu with regular one could likely achieve the same result, and vritra can be swapped by any good AoE, I just picked her because she had Kscope on.

I kinda hate Riot Games for what they did with the event farming nodes.>Oh you discovered NP looping with Castoria and now you can farm comfortably with pretty much any AoE arts servant? FUCK YOU! Now the best node has two waves with only one enemy. Try looping with THAT, you fucker.This event is even worse about it. I did have a decent strategy for Valentines where I would go, Hokusai with Kaleidoscope for the first wave, swap in Astolfo, buff him with Skadi, NP the second wave, and that gives me just enough refund to charge him again and NP the stronger enemy on the third wave. Then depending on my luck with cards I either finish off the other enemy or have to do it on the 4th turn, but I use Gandr so the enemy can't move and it saves some time. But nope, not this event. Naturally they throw in a second enemy on wave two just to fuck up this strategy.It's also insulting how they know some people couple probably cheese the first wave with Arash so they made sure the enemies are lancers so he's useless here.I just said "Fuck that" and farmed on the lower nodes. Sure it takes longer but it's less of a pain in the ass.
