The mainline story doesn't require stamina or anything to run through, which is probably the biggest draw. The gacha isn't completely awful and you can work to max out any characters you like as long as you get a single copy. It'll take awhile to get all the skill books and alt characters, but one good team can probably deal with most of the side content and you're encouraged to focus on other characters as well to give you options.
