I always wanted to like this games mulitplayer but I always found the gameplay to become slightly more enjoyable when I played the gamemodes that were either pilot only or titan only. Having them both be on the same battlefield just sucked so much.

I feel like I’ve hit a wall in my progression. I have 1.6 lifetime K/D right now, not great. How do I push that higher? I watch some high-skill players and they waltz around the map and rack up kills like it’s nothing. Meanwhile, every time I turn a corner and shoot at someone I get lasered to death by two other people I didn’t see. My movement is improving, my aim is getting better with time, I just feel like my game sense/map awareness is shit.

with the quake 2 remaster out, i am once again reminded how much this game is just like quake. even the campaign starts with the same scenario - the fleet is shattered by the orbital defenses and your pod crash lands way off target, you now have to destroy the "Big Gun" on your own.and the weapon arsenal is very much alike as well, you even have a "normal" shotgun (eva) and a "super" shotgun (mastiff), laser rifle - railgun, BFG10K - thunderbolt, hyperblaster - lstar. ive long felt that it's this connection to old school shooters that makes me like the game so much.

I've gone back to Titanfall 1 to see if it's like what I remember, and holy shit. This game is ass, or at least the meta is. If you thought stimfags and carfags were shit, then you haven't had the misfortune of playing against the niggers who are left playing TF1. Half of these faggots abuse the fuck out of the Smart Pistol and Arc Mines. Step a few meters out of range, or use cloak, however, and these shitters are left helpless as the pistol that does all their thinking for their hemispherectomied brain is rendered useless. There is little to no incentive to go fast. The maps are nice, but a good portion of them aren't really suited for b-hopping, only the open ones are. I can see why most thought this game was just COD with jet packs, it's because that's how most of these fags play. The worse part about it is that they don't see anything wrong with it, that's just how they play. I thought the complete lack of nips would lead to a lack of the "I mustu winnu foru da emperor's honoru!" attitude that nips have, fags aren't even trying to be fags, that's just their intrinsic fag property, their baseline faggot state. Maybe the ddosfag wasn't ddosing TF1 out of being a shitter, maybe he did it to spite these niggerfaggots. I was relegated to playing on PS4 for around a year because my PC broke. I had completely regressed to using stim/hitscan weapons. Towards the end I was even using Tone most of the time. I figured I had gotten over my autism about hitscan weapons. Now I'm back on PC and midway through the second match I'm already back to using exclusively projectile weapons and hating hitscans. Nothing else feels as satisfying, it's good to be back.
