Anywhere you see a circular dip in the ground, dig down and check for suevite stone. Terra pretta is actually very common but unless its on a hill, it looks just like regular dirt. Theres a mod that adds stink lines above terra pretta, try it out and you'll see how much terra is hiding in flat areas of dirt.

>>937578Its because they developed the first lore dungeon of the game and at the last moment they realized the update had fuck-all to show for it besides 6 gorillion clutter blocks, so they added some fluff to appease the vs masses and took their yearly post-update vacationTheres nothing wrong with the archives per se (besides the only real reason being to go there being the glider schematic) but if every aspect of the game is neglected in favor of shitting lore content, i'd rather them focus all their attention on the base mechanics and polish the game till its near 1.0, and then just focus on lore for the final updates

I don't want a Minecraft situation where the placeholder spam-click combat stuck around for so long that people actually miss it, so now they can never stray too far from that paradigm or risk disappointing people. I'd love a deep combat system in a first-person block game, but the Minecraft autists will whine that spacing out your clicks is too complicated while simultaneously begging for 3 new types of tree. Hytale has the right idea from the videos I've seen, I don't think VS should necessarily copy that system wholesale but a fun combat system would add a lot of longevity.
