Mark added an autocrafter plugin which gave me psychotic breakdowns whenever I would see shulkers of iron block or firework rockets because it's not vanilla. I asked several players with expertise in withering stuff to help destroy spawn and builds all over the server to get back at him. We were all banned, but unbanned after several weeks. When we were unbanned a newfag named batrick_pateman was jannie, which is weird so we think it's share on an alt. He gangstalked us by teleporting into walls inside our base and saying "I live in your walls", this caused me to relive the worst episodes of my schizophrenia where I would think there are jewish communist trannies living hidden inside my living room. This made me hate him very much, so I kept asking for his demotion. Spicles tried to crystal him but was voided, Acme blew up his wither killer but was tempbanned, and I blew up his obsidian farm but was tempbanned too. Ihatems blew up his sand farm, but when that was rolled back part of ms' cobble farm was rolled back too so clearly batrick is abusing powers. Anyways fast forward a few days, ms and I put a shulker of TNT inside a hopper cart to evade coreprotect so clemth can join on an alt and blow up spawn. Mark wasn't listening to us so that's what he deserved. I even took a screenshot of myself in the aftermath which is pretty funny. Apparently our coreprotect evasion wasn't working so great because we were sussed out and batrick took all explosives from our bases, this made us very angry because he shouldn't have had any proof that we did anything wrong. I assumed batrick had no proof and acted on bias against us so I said the server would fall if our explosives weren't returned to us.
Mark then banned ms and I for making threats against the server. Now the ICA is using alts to shit up the server every few days because that's what Mark and Batrick deserve for acting against us.

I wanted to give my take on what's going on, largely cause I'm friends with Wes and Mark, and this shit's spiraled into a whirlwind of autism.
First: I've come back to the server as John_Halo_Esq. I don't trust using my main account on a server I don't own or operate anymore due to Mojew.
Second: Both parties are somewhat in the wrong -- I understand the justifications behind their individual actions. For one, the server *has* lost the magic that made it special, but that's not Mark's fault.
This notion of the server being purely vanilla is a load of horseshit, and that the server has and always will be a non-vanilla server running a shit ton of plugins to ensure it is the comfiest Minecraft experience imaginable. Y'all need to quit gaslighting yourselves about there ever being a vanilla /v/craft because this simply isn't true. Moreover, the griefings should have never happened, and y'all should have voiced your outrage in a more productive manner.
That being said -- I don't wholly agree with Mark on this either. Although griefing's never a good solution to voice yourself, I don't think permanently banning half the active playerbase was a good idea. Don't just keep them in the dark, but don't just pull the rug right out from under them and expect them not to bitch about the bruises from the fall. More transparency and discussion about these changes would have helped smooth over some troubles before they happened, and that openness to new ideas and change should be considered on both sides.
All in all, this ain't my server anymore, but I feel confident Mark's doing a good job judging by the active playercount daily, and will continue to do okay in 2023 and beyond. Both parties should have an honest sit down and hash this out, but that may be too much of an ask at this point. I learned long ago that trying to wrangle this server is an exercise in futility.

tl;dr -- quit being gay; hug it out or move on, it's fucking blockgame you niggers.

- popularizing cheaty mods like tweakeroo and the easy place mode feature from litematica (billy was much less tolerant of such mods before sinope joined)
- shilling the autocrafting plugin for over a year, until it actually got added
- opposing the map reset with all his might
most people don't want to play glorified creative mode on a 2 years old map, it's just not fun

Because they're trying to "make the server fall", with their access to the server itself being limited by the fact their main accounts were banned and their stashes removed, they're trying different approaches. Trying to dissuade newfags from joining by making up lies, and getting the map wiped so the server history is deleted and regular players are discouraged from building.
