As for armor you only have 25mm sides as opposed to atago 27 which means you wont autobounce 381mm shells, however lot of times 406s are in overabundance so its not that big of a deal in the current meta. Your torps are another negative, 8km is pretty much unusable unless its near islands, as opposed to atagos 10km. But the biggest disadvantage you have in maya is you cant take better rudder mod. Best you can have is 8 second rudder shift time which makes the ship feel very unresponsive, compared to atago where the ideal way to play is pick prop at 4th slot +rudder mod at 5th slot that gives you 4.9 second rudder shift which makes the ship very responsive and easier for you to kite and dodge enemy attacks which you cant do in maya. In short maya is very inferior in lot of ways at one tier lower which doesnt justify this much nerfs only to use reload mod that gives it closer to atago levels of dpm for a short while and limited amount of times.

Honestly I recently uninstalled because I was getting kinda sick of the grind on top of it feeling even more nickle and dimey in recent years.
