For the longest time they refused to add the Deadeye scope to any long ammo weapons because it would be OP, and now here it is and you hardly see it get used. Delay between shots is so high that it almost is a regular romero, and loses to any other multi shot shotgun and even fanning (assuming your first shot doesnt kill), but it is still faster than the regular romero.

Because the amount of points you need goes up every level. At 9-10 you're not even halfway done. If you continue at this same pace you'll probably finish with 10 or fewer days left, people with more restrictive schedules just won't get finished. Which isn't inherently bad, if the event is designed around people who literally play once a week then it's a shit experience for people who play every day and who does a company want to cater to more? To save money. If I have three 50 bars or one 50, two 25s and a 50 I'll only bring weak vitality shots since they'll eventually heal you to full if you're above 25 health.

When I have two 25s in the last slot though, I bring one weak vitality and one normal.

How do I get good at headshotting? After 200 hours I want to use more than shotguns but completely blow ass at getting any hits with a Winfield. Also, I have the hardest time seeing other hunters from far away. I guess I'm just blind or some shit.

Go into training with a winfield and just shoot every fucking zombie you see, headshots only. You get more practice in 20 minutes of doing that than you would from 20 hours of actually playing. Also just general shooter advice like lowering your sensitivity even if it feels uncomfortable at first.

As for seeing people, a higher res monitor helps a lot if your PC can manage it. In pixel hunt shooters like Squad or to a lesser extent Hunt it almost feels like cheating sometimes.

I always go for the baller loadouts sometimes you get unlucky so many times in a row and get stuck in a perpetual poverty cycle so I prestige when I hit rock bottom. Keeps the game fresh and gives you 4k Hunt Dollars, also makes you use things you normally wouldn't or have not used in a long time.
Whenever I prestige I just use free recruits with minimal purchases until about level 50 to build up a bit of bank. I always struggle with money.

The biggest improvement I saw trying to hit more headshots... was trying to hit headshots.
It's a tradeoff between aiming center mass and probably getting some damage in versus aiming higher for the head and getting all or nothing.
When I consciously put in the effort to aim that little bit higher, I missed more, but I contributed more to fights because the few hits I did get were impactful.
Same with going for wallbangs, it's not intuitive but sometimes you just need to make the effort and toss a shot in somebody's vague direction and sometimes it works out.

Hunting bow, with sawed off shotgun. weak health shot, and dusters for playing it cheap.

Ideally, quartermaster perk with hunting bow, poison/regular arrows and slate shotgun, dusters, concertina bomb x2 and weak health shot - fly solo, duos or trios are for pussies that can't handle using skill/patience.

Everything else you can pick up in the field or off fallen corpses. Just keep quiet and if you get fired upon, find structural cover/vantage point. Even a dense bush will obscure enemy vision. You literally need nothing else to be successful, just use your wits.

Man, I fucking love this game. See you on the battlefield, boys...unfortunately you won't see me.

The Schofield is in the game and almost held the place in history the Single Action Army did, but the Schofield was more finicky about what ammo it could chamber so the army went with Colt. The LeMat in game is a fabrication for the game though, from what I’ve seen. There were cartridge conversions for the LeMat, but they were rare and looked liked rancid ass. The Caldwell and the like make more sense though, since I think that’s supposed to be a cartridge conversion of the Colt Navy, which where there were plenty of.

From this chart I got that new army is 1.65 per bullet, officer 1.85 On 6 bullets thats 1.3 seconds faster. Not that impressive. The fact that you dont do the magazine spin if you dont do a full reload is more valuable. But I still prefer the extra bullet and nicer iron sights.

Camp them back. They have to leave the compound at some point, don't they? If they have shotties, chances are they aren't the best at range and only have a pistol for a secondary.
Another option is to just outplay them by continually running around outside the compound while triggering as many noise traps as you possibly can, like running over glass repeatedly or opening doors while standing up but never actually peak or running through them. This frustrates the average shotgun camper so much they'll eventually make a mistake and you'll be able to pick them off easily once they themselves start running around inside the compound.

they're good to use to figure out where exactly someone is in a compound by either forcing them to move so you can hear them or by eliminating a place they aren't in which you can then use to maneuver
beyond that, if they aren't making any noise, you just clear your corners and hope you shoot first
