As a hufag and one of the TI regulars, the space ships have to stay. I would love to use some 2hu skins for the faction fluff, but i play grand strategy to build and move grand space ships, not sissy 'servants'. Just make some custom factions that are controlled by 2hus. Maybe add that expansion that gives you mechs and "Hero" characters to get some of the girls into the mix as actual units/powers.

Actually this could be a fun thing to try and homebrew. What makes a faction? Take the generic stats and ships that everyone gets and add like 2 faction specific powers, 2 Techs, a unique flagship, a home system, a starting fleet, a couple starting techs, a trade stat and maybe a debuff if its got a really powerful upside. Thats it right?

So we could have something like:

Hakurei Clan

Spash Art is Reimu, Yukari, Aunn, and anyone else with barrier/boundary powers or large connections to the Hakurei Shrine specifically.

I forgot to suggest last time, but I think Golden Rabbit should only let you draw 1 card instead of 2. 2 on its own is too strong already even with the start deck not having card resources, and comboing with the other card that let's you draw if you give a rabbit a wound for a 3 card pull is OP as hell.

Sakura Arms is actually quite nice. It's a card-based fighting game, but with very small decks, so while you can adapt to the opponent's strategy before the match begins you can also adapt during a match while learning

It does have expansions. It just takes more time to release them because you have to program all the rule enforcing quirks. E&P deck released not long ago and if you crafted Coffin Makers or Informants you'd glitch your game and you'd never draw cards at the end of the turn, or crash the game outright.

The problem with Root Digital is that due to the social nature of the game, online is a completely different game because the low communication, there is chat but you can't spend 20 minutes negotiating like you'd do IRL.

Small steps anon.
Learn how to do basic condition statements (if, elseif and else) and loops ( for and while ). After that learn to do some functions. Finally, do some exercises with Arrays { 1, 'hello', varName } and Tables { varInt=1, varStr='hello', varWhatever=varName }
Those 3 things can get you pretty far and will let you understand whatever the API things mean as well.
You may also want to look for scripting tutorials for TTS too
And remember, small steps.

Depends on your goal. IRL your game will never be scripted. If your game can't be reasonably played by moving everything manually like the players would do IRL then maybe it's too fiddly and fucking sucks to play. I consider that scriptless phase an important part of the test.

3rd edition is 2nd edition with literally all of the chrome removed. You get a faster playing, more streamlined game, but also one that ends up being bland as a result. They even streamlined the board into nothing.

The thing is, I'm more accepting of EGS games because I use Legendary to avoid the chinese spyware of installing the real client, but even then it feels like a waste to just download that separately. If there's a version in TTS, scripted or not, I'd definitely prefer it over a standalone client

So after playing two solo sessions of the DRG board game I can say it's alright. Not hard to understand, but not gripping, mission was easy to do and both times a Praetorean came out just as I entered the pod to leave.

Then again it is a beta, and it can't hold much of a candle to just playing the vidya.
