I don't exactly recall, but I believe it has to be encoded in a 32 bit PCM for it to work in Worms. The sound playing well in the team editor doesn't necessarily means it'll work in game for some reason.

>>459012>>459047>>459103>>459231You've all missed the point it seems.My primary complaint is that if you want to get better at Worms the only logical thing to do is practice roping because the diminishing returns on nearly every other skill are huge in comparison. It's the same complaint people have with Starcraft--strategy is a minor skill unless you have insanely good macro/micro, since strategy isn't as important as those. You also see a similar phenomenon in CS (although with few complaints) where aim is infinitely more important than strategy or tactics even through part of the professional level. It works in CS since the game is a shooter, shooting well being the most important skill is expected. Worms is supposed to be an indirect fire game, but in reality the most important skill is using a singular mobility weapon, it just feels wrong. I understand the point of the rope, and why it's so good, and how position and mobility matter. I just don't think that a weapon like the ninja rope has a place in the game unless it's restricted to levels similar to the jetpack or teleporter. There's a clear best weapon for mobility, and that weapon also has by far the biggest skill cap in the game; given its availability and power it becomes the most important aspect of an individual's skill past the very low levels.

Also, most people who started playing here managed to use rope decently enough to enjoy all schemes within a few weeks.

Alright, I updated the Host Pack. Contains everything I have in my maps and scheme folders up to today (about 1300 maps for different schemes, organized and with [!] tags for the fan favorites / good ones to be on top).Additionally, I tried to find the latest custom terrain versions and uploaded them here, you need https://worms2d.info/WkTerrainSync to make them work, and if you never host it won't matter since TS will just download them for you when the host loads it. They go in DATA/Level folder just in case.(You) me if somebody still wants some games tonight.
