>>1105139full disclosure i'm jaded as shit so take what i say as an assholes opinion, someone will probably reply to me and point out what i'm saying is dumb (and are probably correct):the game is good if you never plan on going too far into it, the jumps in power from progression is unbelievable and the game is balanced very, very poorly. half of the talents are absolute dogwater until you get get gear that makes it better, by which they become extremely powerful. other talents are good at all stages of the game but due to their popularity make it harder to get to endgame since people are trying to make money for themselves so they can get to endgame too.a good example of this is the difference between fighter and mage, fighters suffer from shit damage, shit animation locks and awful cooldowns. you can fix all of this with erg, ego and other upgrades and make fighter deal incredibly high damage in spite of all that, but until then you aren't gonna do much with it in the mid game struggle. not to mention because its relatively popular in endgame the gear costs a fortune.meanwhile mage literally has no point in the game where it's genuinely useless, the basic fire bolt spell can deal serious damage in early game, an ego staff can make thunder & hailstorm deal a lot of damage in mid game and endgame mage can still abuse both of those strats to deal shitloads of damage while still retaining the utility of other advanced/intermediate magics. the only problem with mage is that it takes a decent amount of investment similar to fighter and the charge system becomes more of a detriment the more you get used to the game.the other main issue with the game comes from the necessary evil that is reforging, RNG progression akin to maplestory's potential system. it's possible to get good reforges for free, but premium reforging is much faster.the last thing i'll say is that there's too much systems in the game that you can get confused with very easily.

I still can't decide what I should use the ancient spirit stone on for my next spirit weapon. I have a spirit weapon for great sword, chainblade, staff, and control bar. Was thinking either duel guns or bow for arcana(even though I'm human). Either way I have no decent weapons for my 5th spirit other than blannid weapons.

I'm not sure if that happens anymore. Point is, all skills can easily be ranked up at x1 in a day now and the cap is x8, but I think you can still get x16 with event active. Do content to make gold. that's the secret. Tech missions are like shadow missions but you unlock them from the generation 22 and 23 storylines. They only make money if you get good drops and sell them for several million. Before you can do them, run hard mode advanced dungeons and hope you get drops you can sell. Defeat the Shadow Wizard and Defeat Formor Commander 2 give decent gold per run, more if you buy potent shadow crystals from the auction house and use them. There's also the baltane missions you can do from the squire training camp. They usually give about 50k per if you do elite and still give items including occasionally coins you can sell for like 100k.some will be harder until you're strong and you've trained your squires though. Siege Weapon, Counterattack, and Scrimmage are the best to run. You can do normal mode of them once per game day. You aren't gonna get real money unless you are a bot or get lucky with drops and sell on the AH or buy and resell stuff on the AH. Some newer drops sell for 50-100k to npcs though.

Alchemy should have been human only. Only humans went to the shadow realm and learned stuff from shadow alchemists. Elves should have had adv magic, exclusive use of staves, and self fusion bolt while knuckles should have stayed giant only. Humans should be able to dual wield axes as well and use crossbows with a shield.(using bolts from the inventory like alchemy crystals or dual gun bullets, and also crossbows should be human only). Bows should have had specialized arrows to begin with and piercing be the realm of only lances and crossbows. Giants should have larger and more powerful dual guns(both slow and powerful type and fast firing type) with humans and elves being restricted to the normal rate guns. Puppets should have some skills just to fuck around with like with Transformation and Enthralling Performance and Puppet Snare should allow you to temporarily control the thing snared or at least be able to use Act 4 with it, swinging it around and damaging it as well. Alchemic Stinger should be a human only arcana, Harmonic Saint an elf only arcana, and Merlin (knuckles/magic) a giant only arcana instead of a ace thing. Half-fomors should be a race and Chains/Dark Mage exclusive to them and maybe also have an affinity for Ninja and explain Hagi and Anju as being half-formors instead of random youkai in a celtic world. Their transformation would just be going full fomor.
