I'm very worried. I have no idea how meme money works.
>>
>>99362
you have to learn bitcoin. once you do, nobody can take that knowledge away from you.
>>
>>99752
Is Coinbase a scam because of how it charges you to pay for something with your own bitcoin, or are processing fees inevitable with crypto?
>>
>>99424
Same. I'm too stupid to understand bitcoins.
>>
>>99424
This
>>
>>99424
I did it the bitcoin atm route last time and had leftover bitcoin that didn't add up to enough for a pass this year. Used that site instead and it worked easily which saved me the stop to the atm.
Just be sure to hit renew in the top right of the front page if you're trying to keep an old pass.
>>
>>99786
processing fees are inevitable for now, the fees they use on coinbase are obviously too high, there should be no fees in the future with bitcoin's infrastructure being improved e.g. Lightning Network
>>
>>99380
glad we're getting rid of this salty fella

not much, just a dollar or two, and if bitcoin crashes you might be under what you need, but also pic related is the identity cost
>>
>>100231
You could download the cash app and buy bitcoin through that ez pz
>>
>>99362
Looks like I'm finally not having a pass anymore. The fuck.
>>
>>99362
I fucking hate having to pay for a 4chan pass. It's so fucking dumb that Hiro just range blocks basically the whole world now just so he can squeeze more shekels from people.
My fucking home ip was 'range banned'
so fucking stupid
>>
>>99362
its not so bad man
decided to try this crypto shit some time ago - need it for 4chan pass so might as well
pay some real money and get bitcoins
3 years later
>didnt add any money
>still enough money to buy 4chan passes for quite some time
>>
>>100260
Blame the ban-evading proxyfags. The major boards would be even more shitty if they didn't rangeban a lot of places.
>>
>>100260
In principle, you could set up your own private proxy using a US based server you use for your work or business. But if you can't into computer, be grateful you can even pay for the privilege of posting here, maggot.

Fuck, wish I knew about this when I bought my pass recently. Never actually bothered visiting this board until I already had a pass. Couldn't even log into my coinbase account since my 2FA was on an old phone I couldn't find and I didn't want to wait the 2 days or whatever to reclaim my account. So I ended up giving another crypto site my info. I guess this is what I get for wanting to get a pass on 4chan's birthday
>>
>>99362
I used a website that buys them for you.

Once you get past the account creation Coinbase is a pretty comfy app to use.

It's pretty straight forward and is guaranteed to work with 4chan

I feel your pain, it was annoying as fuck to get it done this year, especially with all the GME bullshit making it harder to transfer money to payment platforms. Took me about a week to get the money into my account, convert it to bitcoins, and make the actual purchase.

And due to how volatile the market was, it ended up costing me around the equivalent of $35 for the pass. Kinda bullshit tbqh, but it wasn't technically their fault,j so what can you do right?

smart contracts (i.e., the way everyone is going to be entering into agreements in the near future)

https://www.gemini.com/cryptopedia/what-is-chainlink-and-how-does-it-work

This provides a pretty good explanation of the fundamental concept, as well as the benefits of Chainlink itself
>>
>>104019
so it's got the same intention as ETH but I assume there are reasons you guys think it's better than ETH and it's probably undervalued.

I'll keep researching this and buy some soon

That's right goy rely onpayment services that are ready and eager to block anyone at their own will

Reminds me of when I bought and sold at least several hundreds of BTC in university to pay for a seedbox and a few other niceties, buying nearly the exact amount from a local dealer to cover my payments.
Of course I eventually lost the primary wallet when I re-installed linux without backing up my dotfiles. Probably had ~.3 or so in it, which was forgettable at the time.
I still managed to keep a decent ~$4000 to this day from other wallets I had forgotten about though, so I won't have to buy more anytime soon.

My leftover change from buying my last pass turned into $33 dollars anon. Just get into it, it's not going away and as long as /pol/ exists this site depends on bitcoin

yes, you can avoid doing this >>105004
by simply buying a prepaid visa at your local walmart/target or order one online.
