You know, this is a really bland board. No culture, no history, no population.

>>82262I like to think of it as "/a/ for people with jobs."
>>82262Our culture is our lack of it. Like Australia.
It's lonely at the top.
>>82268It's more like a paid /qa/
I like it that way, I get to see my posts from a long time ago.
sir please
>>82262Can't let this thread die
>>82268lol
>>82262
>>82262There's really isn't supposed to be. The board has no unifying topic other than having given money to the site. It's just a VIP section, but there is nothing wrong with that. It also allows the people who actively keep 4chan afloat to discuss how they feel about the site without too many redditors and other outsiders spouting memes. People who were willing to give money to the site probably spend a lot of time here and thus represent the core userbase a little more than the average poster.
>>85023
Culture of keeping threads bumped forever
>>87262Bump.
>>82262>board was added in late 2016>most other boards have been around since 2004 give or take>requires payment in order to post>More than 95% of 4chan are shut-in neets that don't have money in the first place>"Guys, why is this board so slow? And why does it have no culture?"/vip/ is in direct contrast with the rest of 4chan
>>87262Isn't that /po/?
>>87298I hope they do not move us to 4chanlel.
>>85267i like the thought of /vip/ representing the core userbase more than other boards. i just hope the current state of /qa/ is not the direction this board is headed.
>>88552I've already noticed 2018 pass posters drag down the quality immensely
>>85023based
>>88553I'm a very good poster though
>>88552/vip/ also has a big soft spot for 4chan nostalgia
>>88553yeah no doubt. whoever keeps bumping dogshit threads with one or two word replies is pretty insipid.
>>82268I like that anon.
>>88675is this a forced meme?>>82268/vip/ isn't even close to being /a/
>>88705>/vip/ isn't even close to being /a/True, it actually feels more like a SFW (old) /b/ for people with jobs. Honestly I'll bet that a lot of pass users are people who were posting on 4chan back in the early days.
>>88552It's happening whether you like it or not
>>82262No history? This thread has become part of our history. Congratulations.
cool
~~Vip~~
dead thread?
thats what i like about this board
/vip/ is the only board you can be sure you're not replying to a bot. What if almost all the posts on 4chan are bots? Would they all be this slow if there were only actual real humans posting?
>>92572I AM A ROBOT FROM THE FUTUREBLEEP BLOOPMAGGOT
>>82262No you
>>82262because it slow
Does /vip/ still remember to bump old threads?
>>82262On the contrary, /vip/ appears to have the most ancient era 4chan culture still around.
>>82262bummping old thread
>>94814Board culture moves very fucking slowly on /vip/
>>82262>no culture reeeee>tfw half the world is culturing hibachi takeout culture right fucking now and triggering boomers harder than a cellphone
A shame the population is going to drop even further since almost no one can buy a pass.
>>96855>>tfw half the world is culturing hibachi takeout culture right fucking now and triggering boomers harder than a cellphoneWhat?
>>88767>Honestly I'll bet that a lot of pass users are people who were posting on 4chan back in the early days.I don't even know why I keep buying a pass since I get maybe 10-15 min a day on 4chan because too much work and other hobbies
>>96164don't do that
>>82262Well of course it is, it's just a board for paypigs
>>96988why not?
>>96988Not even for the first time.
>>92572I used to think this till I tried talking to an actual bot. The most advanced computer generated text still feels about a thousand times more soulless than even the most annoying posters on the site. Oh well, soon enough it will be a reality.

it has the culture of keeping this thread alive

I'd personally like to see more tripcode users and more friendships being sprung on /vip/.The slowness of the board makes it easily the best place to post informational posts about 4chan such as how to even create a tripcode, how to use sage, how to post using the 4 leaf badge etc. etc.
>>104234what should be my tripcode anon
>>88590This. It's like what moot had envisioned for the boards is so close and /vip/ is one step towards that better 4chan Moot wanted.

All tripfags deserve the rope.
>>104250True. But people (see: "creeps") can search your post history and make all kinds of personal attacks if you are not careful/have thick skin.I truly think Moot implemented the tripcode function so that anons could make friends and communicate more often with people they know. Why else would tripcodes exist? >>104251is clearly how some in the community reacted to tripcodes...
>>104252It does seem like a highly underutilized function of this site. Thanks for naming me! Why'd you pick "Elanor"?
